Violence Solves Everything

Kuro POV.

The money was running out. I hadn't told Yoshito yet, he has enough problems without it. It seemed I had somehow been able to give him the illusion that the life insurance would last forever.

Well, atleast I dont have to pay protection money to any yakuza, many even being led by people with quirks these day.

Wait a second. That could be my solution. My power hasn't grown to a point where I can do what some of the people, criminals, I had seen on the television could do, but I could take powers with just a touch.

2 birds with one stone. I grow stronger and fix my little problem in by doing one thing.

I smiled, and then I looked. Not like I had done this morning, but opened something else, and dots of light filled my vision. Lights that would soon fill me.

It was late at night, and my brother was asleep, seems like he had fallen asleep reading one of his comic books. Truly childish.

I felt pricks of light, constantly at the edge of my mind, and I grabbed one of them. Escalation filled my body, and I grew. Not by alot, mind you, but a bit.

It felt like this was the way things were supposed to be, but an itch still remained just under my skin.

It took me three tries until I found one of the lights that seemed like they were doing illegal actions. They, in fact, had a bird tatoo, a symbol of one of the smaller local groups, whose name I hadnt bothered learning.

They also seemed to be in the progress of attacking some poor man.

I was noticed as I walked out of the shadows.

"Hey man, fuck off, why don't you?"

That was the man with a quirk. What a rude person. His rudeness nor his quirk helped him when I grabbed him and tore it out, and threw him into a wall.

He didn't get up again, and while I didnt know quite what it was, it seemed to have something to do with directing momentum.

No matter, I still had some people to deal with.

One of the people from the little local gathering of criminals rushed me, and his friends seemed to snap out from their shock at that.

They grw closer to me, and I grew, I escalated. They fell down, and I didn't.

I dropped escalation back into the background noise, and while I shrunk a bit I wasn't down to the size I was before.

That could be a problem.

But, if I played this right, I could make so it isn't mine.

I pulled the man they had been attacking, a half exposed symbol that probably belonged to another little group of local criminals seen on his collarbone.

An application of pain generation, small enough to feel like a small shock, woke him up.

Another interesting part of that quirk is that it could force someone to stay awake.

"Hello there, my friend. I am All for One, and I have a gift just for you, and all that I need in exhange for that is a small favor..."

He gulped while looking at me. Pathetic for a grown man to be afraid of a child, no?

"W-what are you giving me?" His voice wobbled abit at the beginning, but he seemed to do fine after that. I suppose he is less of a coward then he seems.

"Power."

I woke up, almost late for school. I noticed an enveloped had been pushed under the door.

He had listened to my instructions, which would work well for for me, as I didn't have to hunt him down to make him pay it back.

The money problem seemed to have been solved, for now.

There was a letter placed with the money. I pulled it out and started to read.

'Hello All for One

I, the leader of my little group, believe that cooperation in the future could be beneficial to both of us.

See, we have some rather, shall we say, annoying people that have been poking their noses into my business.

I shall, of course, give a little bonus for ensuring that they aren't a bother anymore. You can of course keep what you have taken from them.

What ever that may be.

Call the following number if you are interested in cooperating further.

+81 xx xx xx xx

Have a good day'

It seemed like it was solved for the long term as well.

Truly, violence solves everything.

It had been several weeks now, and more and more people were in debt to me. They were the defences between my brother and whatever wished to harm him, atleast until I got there.

Then whoever had that idea in mind would forget it.

I had also gained a new favorite quirk. Well, outside off All for One of course. It was suprisingly a rather mundane power, a simple strength enhancement, but it's power came from its simplicity. It may not be advanced, but it held a lot of power, making me able to do some truly superhuman feats.

It also, unlike many other strength enhacement quirks, also gave me boosted endurance, by quite a lot aswell.

It seemed like the goverment had decided to name our little group the alliance, which I suppose makes sense. It still made me think that they needed a new PR team.

Yoshito POV.

Kuro was becoming strange. He may think I am stupid and wouldn't notice him sneaking out at night, but I have.

I trust him to tell me if it is important, so he must have a good reason to tell me

I woke up before him today, for once, and decided to make breakfeast for him today.

The newspaper today seemed to talk of putting people with quirks in special areas to limit the chaos that is spreading in society.

I was so engrossed in the paper I didn't even notice my brother entering the kitchen.

"What is this I am seeing? My own brother reading something that isnt a comic book!"

Did he always have to mock me for that? Well, I suppose it doesn't matter, that he is starting to talk to me again is nice.

"Yes, Kuro" I knew his name irritated him " I am, for once, not reading a comic book. I noticed the news paper was about proposed changes in laws regarding people with quirks, so I decided to read it."

"So, what has changed?"

"Well, it turns out they are moving all people with quirks to special cities so they can limit the amount of chaos spreading in society."

My brother didn't comment at that, his face just went still, and his eyes that were so warm before, now felt like the artic itself. He snapped out of it quickly though.

"I-I see. Well I can't actully stay for breakfeast, I have some things to do. Have a nice breakfeast Yoshito."

He almost ran out of the kitchen after that.

I will not allow this. I will stop this, and that will be my first step.

The idiot that proposed that change will die slowly.
