" It's okay. That's not a problem."

" If you say so.." The man youngest man of the group replied.

Eisuke wasn't least bit bothered about the given information. His biggest fear was Meilin's reaction run when he delivers the news, she might not be able to take it.

Meilin looked curiously at the new figure, in the comfort of Eisuke's embrace.

The young man too sensed Meilin's gaze on him and smiled brightly but before he even had a chance to introduce himself, Eisuke shoved him out of the scene .

" Crack the password and the print is in my briefcase ." He scoffed.

"Got it... " Though he tried to say it enthusiastically but he was actually sulking inside out. He sweared under his breath and left the room.

Meilin couldn't help but giggle at the man's expressions. Her mood also lifted a lot .

" Uncle Eisuke what's going on, who was that man ??"

Meilin couldn't follow their conversation so she asked trying to understand the situation.

" It's nothing. You don't need to worry about that sweetheart. "

Eisuke said as he helped her out of the bathtub.

" Then what are you doing here?? "

Eisuke hesitated for a moment at her question. But knowing that grave threat is on its way to claim her, he had to complete his purpose of coming and that includes Meilin knowing the truth...

" Meilin I came hear today on your father's request.. He wants me to take you away from this country . "

" But why?? Meilin didn't understand why suddenly her father would make such an outrageous request.

" He doesn't want me anymore..Isn't it ?? "

" That's not correct Meilin.You know better than anyone that your father loves you the most. He requested me to take you away for your own safety . Please Meilin trust him... Everything he has done is for you to be safe " Eisuke said that with atmost seriousness hoping for Meilin's cooperation .

Meilin didn't say a word but silently touched her cheek as a single tear strolled down. The marred bruises still had their marks on her. Understanding Meilin's reserve Eisuke took a deep breath and started to explain things in detail.

" Meilin listen to me carefully. The project that your father was working on in aboard has been taken over by an illegal group. Most of the members of the project returned to their home country. But unfortunately the illegal group also belongs to this country. They were the one who caused your mother's death and now they are after you. Your dad did everything to protect you from them. You are his last hope. Since your dad is a surgeon , he is one of the core members of the project and the group is after him. At the moment he is into hiding and keeping you with him will only endanger you. Hence he requested me to bring you with me to a different country and restart your schooling until he comes back. "

" Is daddy going to be safe?? Is he okay?? "

Meilin was speechless at Eisuke's words and couldn't help but worry about the safety of her father.

" He is for now, but the longer you stay in this country ; the harder it becomes for him to maintain your safety. He will soon fall in their hands if we don't move out now. "

Eisuke replied truthfully.

" Ever since daddy came back hearing mom's accident, it's been like he is not daddy anymore. Is it because of that illegal group.? "

Meilin was a smart child and with Eisuke's explanation she was able to form a clear picture of the situation.

Eisuke only nodded as his reply.

Meilin didn't say a word but her tears said much more than what words could ever convey.

Eisuke hugged back Meilin to comfort her. Kissing her forehead he said in the most gentle tone possible passing a bag to her.

" We need to get going... Okay .."

Meilin obediently took the bag after which Eisuke left the room asking her to be done as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, down in the basement the young man along with a man wearing a red jacket where busy hacking the password while last remaining member who was a bit scary was busy with the finger prints scanner.

Beep Beep...

The electronic sound of the computerised lock announced the successful input of the password and ready for the finger print scan. On the signal last member put on a rubber cap on his thumb and pressed the screen.

Once again the computerised voice announced the successful scaning and the basement door opened up.

The scanning process was ongoing when Eisuke arrived at the basement. But instead of entering the scene he observed the events unfold from afar. After the basement opened only then did he strode past the group and entered the base himself. His group tagged along as well.

The basement was a mini pathology laboratory, it looked as if no one has used it in a while. The whole lab gave a tidy vibe as everything was in it's place with nothing sticking out. The books and the microscopes were all lined up neatly on the shelves. The computers were shut down and there was not a single sign of Dr. Li's project work.

" Work out the safe. " said Eisuke as he scanned the entire room looking for something.

" Uncle Eisuke...

Uncle Eisuke where are you?? "

In the meantime Meilin walked down to the living room with Bobo.

Eisuke's eyes caught something unusual as he heard Meilin's voice . He indicated to the thing and left to attend Meilin.

Meilin became worried as she saw none in sight. As if no one ever came to night. But the two cars parked outside and the new dress she was wearing was the only proof for her that she did not imagine everything.

Seeing Eisuke enter the living room from somewhere Meilin breathed a sign of relief.

" Uncle Eisuke I'm ready, but I don't have anything. My passport and other id documents are all with daddy. "

She said as she was concerned that this would delay their journey and cause problems for her father.

" Pfft.." Eisuke gave light pat on her head.

" Don't worry your documents are all with me. Safe and sound. Now Meilin tell me something, did your daddy leave any messages or said anything peculiar that he should not have said so?? " Eisuke asked to test his theory.

" Daddy did leave a peculiar message. He said that when you visit me I should tell you that everything you need is in the basement itself. When I first heard I thought it was peculiar but I guess he knew you'd come ."

Sadness washed over her as she remembered her father's retreating back as he said those words.

" Everything is going to be okay... I promise. " That was all Eisuke could give Meilin at the moment.

Four and a half hours later...

Eisuke settled a sleepy Meilin in the bedroom of his private plane and left only when he was sure she's fast asleep. He felt a headache coming as he entered the lounge for two pairs of curious eyes and a pair of annoyed eyes landed on him.

" Yes... Yes.. Boss. Come on don't keep us hanging spill the beans. " the man with the red jacket said excitedly.

" Why don't you start Soryu?? "Eisuke said while gazing at the scary looking man as he flopped down on the nearest seater.

The scary looking man goes by the name Soryu Oh. He is currently the second in command of an extremely powerful force in the underworld ' The Ice Dragons '.

He poured himself a glass of wine and began to recall the past as if it was only yesterday.

" When I was ten my grandfather sent me to one of the most prestigious boarding school in London to study . That's where I met Eisuke. He too was a new student and we landed up as roommates much to his annoyance. "

Hearing the past Eisuke had a fond smile on his lips while the young man and the man with the red jacket had their eyes as wide as a saucer. Soryu didn't pay any attention to them as he continued the tale while slowly sipping his wine.

" That was our first year in that school and guess what Li Yujin was in charge of the first year studens as well as he was also our from prefect. He was in his fifth year and it was his first year in the school duties as well ; the school only allowed students from fourth year onwards to participate in school duties but Li Yujin wasn't interested in school. He was forced to do so in order to have something in his extra circular activities in his academic record. For some reason Li Yujin was very fond of Eisuke's nitpicking and would always come to our dorm room when ever he wanted to study or need some quite time. He was always treated us with great patience and tended to our every need. If not for him then Eisuke would have made my life a living hell. And that's how we all became friends. Three years went by. Li Yujin made our lives much more livable in the school then we previously imagined. But in those years Eisuke made quite a few enemies in the school itself. One of them being the principal's son. At the end of our third year things went to an extreme level all thanks to Eisuke. The principal's son was pissed off to the limit that he was willing to risk lives in order to get his revenge.

The night before the graduation ceremony a huge fire broke out in our section of the dorm and the blame was pinned on Eisuke..."

" That was the first time in my life I felt helpless. If proven guilty I would have been expelled from school. After all it was life threatening. But it was thanks to Li Yujin that I was proven innocent and the principal's son's crimes were brought to light.

From that day onwards I am forever in his debt. If not for him I don't know where I would have ended up. After that he graduated from school and went med school as Prof. Sezaki's personal student. As soon as she was born she needed blood in her body as she suffered from low platelet count from birth and the ambilical cord was not cloting at all. But due to her unique blood type the same type of platelets were extremely difficult to find, let alone fresh. Miraculously, we both share the same blood type as well as platelet type so it was easy for me to donate blood which I did immediately.

Yujin's parents were divorced so I have only met his mother. The first time was when Meilin was born, she passed away two years ago and Yujin was not fond of talking about his father or family. Thus after Meilin was named Miss Li, Yujin's mother asked me to be Meilin's godfather. " Eisuke took over the tale from Soryu as he believed it was he that was only the right way to explain things.

" Also Ota Kishi , I warn you stay away from Meilin or I'll be more then happy to make you asexual permanently. Have I made myself crystal clear?? " Eisuke glared at the youngest member of his group as he said his words.

" Okay... Okay.. Do you think I am that cheap??. She's just a little girl, I haven't lost my mind. But have to comment you are being a hypocrite father. "

Ota said to defend himself.

" Boss will probably come with a gun in his hand the day she gets a boyfriend. Mark my words.. " said the man with the red jacket.

" That applies to you as well Baba " Eisuke said in a threating tone to the man in the red jacket.

" COME ON YOU ARE BEING TOO PARANOID "

Baba said as he assumed that Eisuke was under great pressure in care for Meilin.

The stewdess entered the lounge to inform that Meilin was up and looking for Eisuke.

Instantly Eisuke left the group in the lounge and headed for the bedroom.

Meilin took a nap of two hours and was now refreshed. She was waiting for Eisuke while Bobo played in the sofa.

" Good morning Meilin. Did you have a good rest ?? "

" Yes, I did. Umm... Uncle Eisuke where are we going?? "

" To visit your mom's hometown.. "
