A Fall.

He was telling his story to the Doctor, blood still plopped from the corpse below and dripped from his hand. The other woman in the room had witnessed what had just happened. She slunk into a corner and murmured to herself.

Listening intently, Dr. Harpur tried his best to remain calm.

"Falling, for a long time it was all that I could experience. I had fallen several thousand times, my life had flashed before my eyes again and again. A repeating scenario in my mind. No matter how I struggled to break free of what felt like a hellish time loop of death, I could do nothing to change it. And then it was black. Solid, impenetrable blackness." Errit's Eyes glowed a bit, he could see the woman in the room cowering in the corner.

"In the visions, I was helpless, forced into watching again and again. My crew and I were dragged down from the surface of the Sea. Our boats had been capsized, bodies were drifting to the Ocean floor. The wreckage was scattered and floating above. A strange glow came from beneath, an icy glow that kept flickering and growing brighter. Soon, It consumed me and I slept." Closing his eyes didn't stop the pain, reliving it again and again caused considerable psychological trauma. "I screamed for a time.." Standing there with the sentence on his lips, Errit only had himself to blame.

"The sea is a lonely place, soldiers all had their battlegrounds. It had probably happened ten thousand times, I repeated my hell. Watching those closest to me die. I was happy for the end, the sudden and broken darkness. Then One day, a bright light. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I could feel a tight squeeze around my head." Errit kept telling the story.

It was lucky that the other woman was nearby, the doctor was inching backward toward the wall with a bizarre look on his face. Errit had a mark on his forehead, the first nurse had tried to wash it off. Rubbing it Errit said, "The mark seems like it darkened with each stroke, cementing itself into the skin on my brow."

The doctor took the opportunity to leave for a moment and Errit stood there.

A tincture was sitting on the counter. It looked inviting, Errit drank it. For some reason the mix didn't taste horrible, instead it brought a deep drowsiness. The Scar on his neck remained, a reminder that he wasn't the original owner of the body.

Errit liked the feeling from the tincture but 20 minutes later, the drugs it was laced with had taken effect.

There was a bright box that illuminated the room, dazzling lights covered its exterior and it made noise. The noise was loud, so loud that it was difficult to overcome, the yelling.

"Eh? What is this?" The day and year ran across the bottom of the box. Distant arguments could be heard. footsteps and angry tones.

'It must be a Television, Did I just pass out?' Hands bound to his side, Errit was firmly clasped to a table. He decided not to struggle.

A curtain was pulled back, another man in white shoved a light into Errit's eyes. "Pupils show normal response." The Man in white, Doctor Harpur grabbed Errit by the face and spread his teeth. "Subject doesn't seem to fit the description from the family. His personality is very strange. Look at how he stares with intensity." A scalpel was used to cut away clothing, exposing Errit's chest

"Preparing for incision, please note his reactions and the volume of material harvested." A bloody scale sat on the other side of the room.

Errit grabbed the doctor's coat with his hand and jerked it.

Doctor Harpur fell over against he the table. "What are your intentions?" he asked. He had a sneaking suspicion that he wouldn't enjoy what was about to happen.

Sitting up, Errit snapped his bonds and began speaking ."Its difficult to tell you specifics, What I experienced cannot be completely summed up with words. I lived in a hell." It was an answer, but it wasn't enough.

The truth was simple, even if it wasn't the answer everyone wanted.

"Death is a Hell you live in no matter how hard you try to escape. To die ten thousand times, at least.. it felt like ten thousand times.. it weighs on you, and you change." The doctor was thrown across the room and leaned against the wall when he fell.

"So, how does it feel to be reincarnated?" The doctor was still asking questions, blood trickled from his lips and gums.

Errit was fuming with anger, he said, "As you know, the Esper's Attacked. Our fleet was sunk. Me? I feel great, stronger than ever."

"So you've gained power and returned?" The doctor was staring intentionally at a panic button on the wall.

"If I have such ability, do you really think they would allow me to come and go freely?" Errit closed his fists drove them through wall in a circular motion until he made himself an exit.

"I will have my revenge, the Zao Clan will pay for what they've done to Earth." Errit jumped out of the 4th story hospital room while the Doctors hit the panic button.

"Zao?" the other Doctor stood there in the room shaking his head.

'Zao City is on the other side of Shiyan.' Startled, Dr. Harpur pulled out a communication stone.

"Territory regional security offices, please." The brick-like stone resembled the cellular phones of Earth, if not for their size it could be easily confused. The Communication Crystals had better connections. "Inform the Chancellor. We have a problem, a violent reincarnated soldier has escaped in Winstruck Kingdom."
