Chapter 1 [New World]

Bam a car was hit by a truck and a person dressed in a lab coat was swung straight out of the car like a ragdoll. The person in the lab coat was in critical condition but still held a briefcase firmly in his hands.

Two thugs stepped out of the car and walked near the person in a lab coat then one of them snatched the briefcase out of the hands of half dead person.

With that, the person in the lab coat was left alone on the road leading to his death.

"Ahiro Ahiro wake up it's just a dream just a dream" shouted my roommate waking me up.

"Thanks, Sian, and sorry for all the trouble." I replied huffing from the strange dream.

"It been a week since you have had nightmares are you sure you are fine, you have gone for a checkup right?" asked Sian.

"I have been examined by an academy nurse as far as she knows there is nothing wrong with my body or any indication of any damage caused due to these nightmares. I am in my top state. " I replied while calming my breath.

"Well take care and shower you stink of sweet," said Sian while walking out of the room.

How should I tell him that there is no need to test as I know these are not nightmares but reality.

To be exact this is how I died.

It all happened a week ago.

Before that, I was a normal guy who owned a small company that consisted of a group of my close friends. We together researched and struggled for many years and finally, the result of our research came through and we made a breakthrough. Our latest innovation could revolutionize the whole planet.

But as soon as the result came all those giant companies who didn't believe In our idea at the start came flocking over us like hawks and wanted to own the results of our research and wanted to gain profits by commercializing our innovation under their name.

When I rejected them all and told them that I would sell this to the government for the betterment of all. They backed out and left. I thought everything was over but this was where my nightmare began.

Over one-night only company's stock hit rock bottom and the research lab was burned to the ground, and on my way to the lab, I met my end in the same accident that I see now every night. I Died in that cruel accident and everything I built with my hard work was stolen away from me. Everything was truly over I thought during my last breath.

But the next thing I knew is that I found myself in the body of this young boy and inside a whole new world. At first, all of this was hard to believe I thought someone was playing a game. It wasn't until all the memory of the previous owner of this body came flooding back at me, Coincidently his name was also Ahiro.

From my younger days, I remember the correct word for this phenomenon in those novels that I used to read was transmigration where a soul comes from a different world and travels inside the body of another being. I used to read those only for fun who knew this would someday become reality.

For now, I have to accept how things are, and currently, I am in a world called "Midgard" which is a fantasy-like world, the technology of this world is many centuries ahead in compression to my previous earth and the air is much cleaner and according to this body memory Midgard has already reached space age decades ago, means they are already building colonies in space.

Not only technology but medicine has improved a lot. Nowadays even amputated limbs can be regrown or altogether a bionic arm can be attached that works the same. Cancer and genetic diseases are things of the past.

All that was once a dream for the people of our planet is already a reality in Midgard and all this is achieved by a supernatural phenomenon that is Known as Awakening.
