96 Before Dawn ( II )

The temple in front of him was dark as night. The usual glistening ivory palace looking wicked underneath the moonlight. He had escaped in the dead of the night. Asterias had simply opened up his window and jumped outside with utter ease. It hadn't been very difficult despite the fact that he lived on the fourth floor and most jumps would be able to destroy someone's body.

"Welcome, Heir Apparent," Caleb said bowing his head towards Asterias who took off his hood. The white tresses of his hair glistening in the pale moonlight.

Asterias gave a smile, "It's an honor to meet you again, Priest Caleb."

Caleb flinched. From that minuscule conversation, he had remembered his name. This man in front of him was far more dangerous than he had anticipated. The small details didn't seem to slip by Asterias as he gave him a tender smile.
