110 Chapter 111: The Kingdom

( A/N: A thought came to me that if I only struck to conquest of different worlds then my story will become repetitive and dull so I decided to create a picture of the kingdom in the minds of my readers that our MC rules over. I will be adding other things also. Please tell me if this line of thinking is good or not. The Education System of The Fortis Empire is quite extensive and complex. There are thousands of base courses which branched into tens of specialized courses. The reason behind this is the need of skilled and creative personnels in the various institutions. To survive in the business world of the empire is a tremendrous task as every city is linked and it doesn't take much time in transportation of goods. This has made selling the products very difficult as one can find trillions of similar products online. There is always a need of that special spark that made a product special.

One cannot just sell any product on the market in any manner, a huge support team is required, which plans everything related to the product and you are not alone in doing this as billions of companies are also in the race. This has made the demand for skilled workers extremely high. The presence of a single education system throughout the empire made the job of employers easy as they are able to recruit people from other provinces also but the amount of filtering they had to do is mind-blowing.

The Emperor had dissolved all the educational institutions a few decades and made The Royal Academy which provided education to all the subjects of his empire. All the marksheets and degrees are issued under The Royal Academy and there is no mention of affiliated universities or colleges or regions.

This was done so that no one would have the advantage of making a pre-meeting positive impression on people, on the basis of what university or college or school they had completed their education from. This was not a concious thing but subconciously people tend to see the graduates from prestigious educational institutions in a more positive light, which was a disadvantage to the students with same skills coming from less famous institutions.

A physical and mental aptitude test is conducted after the students passed their highschool and various fields were suggested to them on that basis. There are specially trained personnel who are assigned to each student who guided their charges and prepared the psychological file of the students. These files are then cross checked by the respective student's teachers and parents so that all the aspects of the student could be examined and his future career paths could be suggested to him or her.

There is no mistake in this procedure as the time for which the students remain under their guide ranges from to 10 to 12 decades. The base lifespan of the subjects of the empire is 1,000 years. They reach adulthood at the age of 180 years and started attending schools from the age of 80 years as the lengthening of the lifespan has slowed down the growth rate of the people of our Empire . The amount of knowledge that the empire has gathered is massive and the hundred years of schooling is utilised for imparting the basic knowledge about various subjects, ranging from survival to quantum physics. The schedule of students is quite free so that they could fully explore the world around them. The various schools organised many tours around the empire for them.

After a solid base is formed, acquiring specialised knowledge and getting trained for a specific field only takes a few decades. So, by the time a person reached the age of 250 years, the Earth's equivalent of 25 years, he is fully trained to specialize in at least one field of work. In terms of cultivation, breaking through is more difficult for them and the amount of resources the subjects need is quite a lot.

The upside of this is that their lifespan increased by a lot when compared to cultivators of the same realm, when they advanced to the next major realm. A Houtian Cultivator from the empire lived upto 1,200 years which is more than Saint Realm cultivators of the cultivation world. This increased lifespan is the reason behind experts confidence of conquering in this world as cultivators are afraid of death more than anything and their greed for power is more than their fear of death. The Emperor plans to capitalize on this.

After the fields are suggested, no pressure is put on the students, they are free to choose whatever they want as the human history was filled with numerous persons who had deviated from the social expectations and made themselves successful in different and unlikely fields.All the subjects of the kingdom are encouraged to develop their hobbies so that unique talents can be uncovered.

This has led to establishment of numerous skill development courses which helped the students to implement their thoeritical knowledge into practical use or helping the civilians to develop their interests into something more. All of these courses adopted a universal grading system and award apperentice, accomplished, master, grandmaster and pioneer level certificates to the people who were trained by them. Each of these certificates are divided into five stars.

Every subject has a unique ID issued to them as they got registered in Home Ministry at the time of their birth. All the information about that person is accessible through that ID only. All the money transactions and other transactions are conducted through this ID. The information revealed to public only consisted of their name, their ID number and their email address.

The various institutions have to apply for a license to access the restricted information but not all the information is revealed to them. They are only allowed to access their educational records, work exprerience records and their current employment status. All the monetary transactions are done through The Imperial Bank throughout the empire. The Imperial Transportation Department oversees the transportation of goods and people throughout the empire. These two institutions apart from the Home Ministry are the only institutions who have the full access to an individual's information.

The abolishment of hard currency and the approval of cypto-currency has made the whole banking system online. The use of bloodbound safes have made lockers, a thing of past. These safes are keyed into the DNA of it's owner and only the selected descendents of the owners can open it with a unique password. All the banking services are now made online. The whole banking system is developed and governed SQC.

The Royal Academy is the largest structure of the empire and covered an area of 10 Billion square kilometers. The academy was constructed after the star wars world was conquered.The reason it is so huge that it is the only postgraduate university of the kingdom. It took 50 years to construct the academy. The Emperor had employed large scale time rituals to complete this mega structure in five years. The resources for construction were provided through Hephaestus. During this time, all the revamped defence towers were also constructed.

The construction of 29 Million city-level defence towers had put the defence of the kingdom to the whole new level. The Royal academy originally had 90 city-level towers in the area covered by it. The guards employed by the academy are all at HighGod Realm in cultivation. The academy is also the main recruitment center for ACE. Around 65 to 70 percent of the teachers employed at the academy are the members of ACE.

The Academy is the most secure place in the kingdom after The Royal Palace. The academy is a megacity in it's own right and The Dean of the Academy acts as the governor of this megacity. The Commander of the secret army is the Dean of The Academy, this has made the recruitment of new soldiers a lot more easier. Every martial spirit ever awakened is recorded and it's abilities are also recorded. This information is very vital to the kingdom as it will help in training the future generations. Only five people have access to this information; The Emperor himself, The Head of Intelligence, Commander of the Secret Army, The Head of Resource Allocation Department for Cultivators and The High General of The Empire's army.

The subjects are only told the grade and name of the their martial spirit privately or if it was new martial spirit then the awakener was allowed to name it with respectable name so no one was allowed to name his spirit as God Annihilator, Primordial Conquerer or other such stupid names as all the people in the existence were not retarded like Cultivators who will allow their opponents to monologue about their awesomeness. They will strick hard without any mercy.

Moreover, The Emperor has made a mandatory law that the announcement of martial spirit and it's grade to public was forbidden as it was the deepest secret of an individual and nobody had the right except Alexander himself to announce it to public at large. Only parents are allowed to know about the martial spirits of their children and they are also put under an oath powered by their magic. Nevertheless, experts are able to guess the grade of martial spirit based on the speed of cultivation and have named them according to what they were able to glean during the fights between cultivators in the arena.

Every city has an arena inspired by The Roman Colosseum and was originally built to give the Magus a place to practice their battle skills. Later on, the arenas developed into a lucrative trade where many competitions were held and bets were placed. The arena was much bigger in scale capable of holding 500 Million people in it's premises. The scale of arena increased in regional capitals, sectorial capitals, and so on. The capital cities themselves are at least 5 times bigger than their immediate subordinate cities. The largest Arena is capable of holding a trillion people and was situated in the Royal Sector. The Arena was called 'Royal Arena' and was used to hold the competitions which were conducted on Empire Level.

If a subject wants to earn more resources than allotted, he could fight in the arena. The state had made various prize pools for different levels of contestants. The Emperor have not stopped anyone fighting above their pay grade as it is during these fights that the hidden potential of a person is brought forward. The Emperor himself had fought numerous times under disguise in the arena, in order improve his fighting skills. Due to the massive conquest campaign going on, the arenas are not used anymore but the other businesses were booming. Several huge business empires are preparing to request The Emperor, to allow the buying and selling of the planets given as reward to the cultivators engaged in the conquest but since, The Emperor himself is in the origin verse, their request is still pending.
