13 The Leo's Dominate

Linhardt went to visit his companions and saw that they were up already. he was thrilled to see that his friends were in good condition and looking a lot more healthy since they also had enough rest inside the Velos Desi.

Kilian immediately asked him where they were and what had happened. the only thing they remembered is that they are fighting those assassins who they think are Scorpio Zodiacs.

Linhardt narrated the whole incident to them while they were passed out because of the poison. He said that the same thing happened to him again in the plaza inside the Land of VEA. his vision darkened, and he did not know what he was doing. but what happened this time was more serious and more tragic than before when he only brought the general of the Taurus to his knees, but he unexpectedly, this time he killed the assassins who attacked because he cannot just stand and watch them be killed. He doesn't know and cannot explain well how exactly he killed those assassins and aside from that, based on the report to the chief of this Desi, Juno, the bodies of those men he killed were dissolved and the only remaining thing that remained in that place was the clothes that the assassins were wearing.

Lucius was shocked by what he heard and quickly grabbed Linhardt on his shoulders full of pride. even though he is happy because he finally knows which Zodiac he really belongs to, he is still worried because it seems like a huge responsibility in exchange for his power.

he asked Lucius, as a Leo, what he must do in order for him to use this power properly. but even Lucius did not know what to do. When he was little, he was hit by what they say was a curse, and it caused him to be blind at a young age so he didn't get any chance to train his skills of being a Zodiac Leo. but when they were still children, their parents often talked about them those amazing abilities to be a Leo and one of them was the ability that Linhardt has shown to them.

One of the most important things about being a Leo is their eyesight. they can kill any enemy just by their overwhelming presence, and anyone who dares to look into their eyes or stares at them will surely not be able to survive. maybe one of the reasons why their Desi had an epidemic is because of their power that no one can stop.

Lucius also didn't know how it is possible that he escape or where Linhardt came from, but he was happy that at least one of their Chyrum escaped that epidemic that punished their Desi.

he also told Linhardt that those assassins were not wholly dead or taken away but someone. a Leo's strongest trait is that anyone who dies because of their presence becomes a weapon that only a Leo can use. Their body will be dissolved and their souls will be forged into a weapon of destruction.

Linhardt, Kilian, and Seth were surprised and yet scared at the same time when they heard that from Lucius. Kilian also added that it seems that that ability is not right, too powerful, and should be forbidden because it is not acceptable for a human being to trap and use the soul of others who died.

Lucius smiled as he said, the ability of a true Leo is called DOMINATE. this method is forbidden and even our parents never tried to share this ability with us but because of my curiosity, I read all the books that have a story about it.

and if my suspicion is correct, you have triggered this forbidden power, Linhardt. now let's look at your back; the book I read said that the soul of the people you killed with your dominant ability would be tattooed on your back in the shape of a sword.

Linhardt lifted his clothes to reveal his back. while nervous and mixed with excitement, Kilian and Seth also wanted to see if what Lucius was saying was true. When he fully lifted his shirt, they were very surprised to see that Linhardt had a tattoo of two swords on his back. one at the top and one at the bottom, and its blades faced each other at the end.

In Kilian's mind, the power possessed by Leos is too forbidden and should be a secret to everyone in the Kingdom of Zo-An. he was sure that Royalties had something to do with the rapid downfall of the Leos kind. maybe they found out the potential of the Leos and got scared of their abilities so they made sure that there was not even one left so that they would not be betrayed by them.

Kilian answered Lucius and said that everything he said was correct. he also asked how Linhardt could use these weapons that marked his back. but for now, that's everything that Lucius knew regarding this ability. he no longer knows how to use them since he didn't even try or experience how to use them at first; even though he is still studying the use of this ability and he has not been able to continue because of their sudden blindness that no one can explain why those cursed suddenly appeared on their Desi.

Linhardt felt a mixture of nervousness and surprise because he didn't know if it was right for him to possess the souls of the people he killed and turn them into weapons.

Although this forbidden power carries fear, Kilian becomes more and more interested in the abilities that Linhardt possesses. He may be the key to the answers that he was seeking for a long time.

He and his sister Seth looked at each other, and anyone could see the excitement on their faces at what they had discovered.
