Fight for honour (9)

It was a dark night and wolf and his soldiers had managed to encircle the goblins without attracting any attention.There plan was to attack the run away and make the goblins fall to the traps and repeat the process until there numbers dwindled.The first try wolf brought 4 soldiers with him and charge at 3 goblins who were sitting around 1 of the 5 camp fires.The goblins quickly noticed wolf and his men so they charged whilst 1 goblin ran to call for help which wolf wanted to happened so the plan could be in place.They quickly killed the 2 goblins and purposely waited a couple of seconds so it seems they had trouble beating the goblins then one of wolf's soldiers noticed something in the corner of his eye."commander the goblins are in the bushes and are looking to do a surprise attack" he said to wolf whilst pretending to not see them."Alright let's hope they follow us" wolf said to himself whilst they ran back to were they came from.Wolf manged to notice they were being followed by 5 goblins and he gave a sly smile.Wolf then reached the other soldiers and waited for the goblins to follow there trail which was littered with traps which only the soldiers new where they were.Wolf quickly his behind a large tree called a vixen tree and waited for the goblins and to his delight they came running towards death.Thats when wolf commanded a soldier to show himself which then mad 3.the goblins charge.The first trap to be set off was a simple pit fall with some old metal shards and wood at the bottom which killed two of the goblins.However the goblins still charged with some sweat appearing on the soldiers face praying to his king that he would be safe.

Luckily for the soldier one of the bigger traps was set off and a large piece of wood came flying at the goblins killing another two and injuring the last.It tryed to crawl it way back but was quickly stabbed in the head by a near by soldier.They continued there process another 3 times killing all together 24 goblins which obviously the goblins realised and now only numbered 11 goblins versus wolf's 20 soldiers however it was 14 since 6 of the soldiers had been injured.Howevr they still held the advantage in numbers since they didn't earn any skills or didn't level up from using traps to kill monsters.Wolf then decided it was time to fight the goblins face to face and so he took his 14 soldiers to directly attack the goblins.

The soldiers walked towards the goblins camp which alerted the goblins who all rushed out with there cheif.All holding rusted swords and wooden shields and glared at the enemies who killed the friends.Both wolf and the goblins cheif who had slightly better armour than his fellow goblins and was only a few centimetres taller.Both stood in front of the soldiers with both sides understanding what the two leaders wanted to do.The goblins were the first to charge with both sides clashing with the sounds of swords and wood clanging and smashing togetehr making the wind around the vibrate.Whislt wolf and cheif fought they ha dam intense battle as wolf ran towards cheif lunging his sword towards chiefs head.Chief jumped and kicked wolf in the chest which locked wolf back a few steps and which the goblins cheif swung his sword with wolf barley managing to block his attacks.Wolf then ducked after another swing from cheif and knocking chief off his balance at which wolf took his chance and manged to cut of chiefs arm but not killing him.At which point cheif had gotten in rage and used one of his skills called(Goblin aura).Which gave them a boost of power for 1 minute however it would power the persons life span immensely.The goblin chief jumped up and charged towards wolf baring its fangs and smashing it's swords towards wolf.Wolf blocked but the goblins cheif quickly swung again giving wolf a shock causing wolf to get cut in his arm and leg.Wolf stagersf back holding his leg at which the goblins cheif ran towards him once again the two contained fighting.Until the goblins cheif skills ended at which point gave him massive fatigue which gave wolf an opening at which he decapitated the chief which ended the fight.With all the goblins killed and wolf's losses only being some minor and a few more serious injured soldiers.However luckily no one died at which both soldiers and wolf thanked there king and roared in delight not knowing there king was currently sleeping in bed with drool coming out of his mouth.

The soldiers collected the spoils from the goblins and the camp and went back to there own camp waiting for there king to return.
