Chapter 1 : Beginning after the end

"Why ?"

A men in his 30s was lying in the bed with a few ugly hole in his chest . Although he was in pain he asked with a look of disbelief and anger .

A beautiful blonde women was standing above the men with a bloody knife in her hands . Hearing his questions she laughed.

"Ha ha ha , what a fool . You think a mediocre guy like can easily attract women like me ?

Ridiculous . I was given a task to seduce you to stole all your companies secret information. Now that my job is done there is no use of you ."

" Was that all lie ? all those lovely moments , all those promises? "

The men said weakly as if his life was leaving his body with the bloods gushing out of his wounds .

" Tsk , just die already. I have to go to receive my paycheck. "

Just like that , the men died with pair of bloodshot eyes staring at the blonde women.

Year 4096 of sun calendar.

A small village was situated between few rocky mountains . the only exit to the village was a small river that flows very slowly.

In normal times , this remote village is peaceful and quit but not today as black smoke was rising from it , signaling something might went wrong .

A women was hiding behind a stable with a kid . She was looking around with tears on her eyes .

" Mummy, are those things the same from the stories you would told me to sleep ?"

The women didn't replied to the kid but kept looking around to for someone.

" Your father went to the village gate to defend it . He is not back yet . I hope everything is fine . He told me to hide . Is everything ok ?"

The kid said , " Mommy, father is very strong he will kill all those monsters like the heroes in stories ."

The women didn't said anything but kept anxious waiting for her husbands arrival .

Suddenly a gnolls jumped out of nowhere and caught them . It grabbed the kid by its neck and pulled the women by her long white hair .

She tried her best to run but the gnolls grip was too strong. this hyena looking humoniod creature licked the kids face with it dirty tongue and said ,

" heee heee , tonight will be a grand feast."

The gnoll forced them to go to the village square where monsters are gathering all the living humans .

In the small village square, hundreds of people were now forced to come .

" Please have mercy."

" I curse you all . You all shall burn in the brilliance of his lord ."

" Please let my child live . Kill me instead."

" Baron Cohen, will definitely send his knight to kill you monsters ."

" My son where he is ? my son , has anyone seen him ?"

The cries of people was resounding throughout the village. They were desperate as their death was nearing. The all were looking for a miracle that can save their lives .

These people's were now looking at the main culprit of their despair and also the only one who's one command will let these monsters to harvest their lives .

A tall handsome male in light robes . The dark robe was full of indescribable writings on them which gives a great charm to it .

His eyes were like a crimson red vortex , slowing moving around the dark pupil. Sharp eyebrows, strong jawline and dark hair .

If not for those pair of small horn pointing towards the sky , no one will believe that this is guy a demon .

The demon who always has a smirk in his face was now in a deep thoughts.

" What is going on ? why am here ? wait a second, that bitch stabbed me to death . But why am I here in this place as a demon ?"

He looked around only to see everyone was looking at him , waiting for his order .

He saw the people's in the square staring at him . They were giving him the look of fear, anger, pleading, despair, sad looks .

He saw the monsters and black robes who didn't dare to look at his eyes directly but waiting for his command. The goblins and gnolls were seems to be very anxious and were drooling looking at all those helpless people's .

He wanted to release these people out of their misery but looking at his subordinates he didn't.

"These people has an infinite amounts of hatred against me . And these subordinates of mine has a deep obedience towards me .

Can I just let them free these man's that easily? They fought hard on my command to capture them . But if I let them go away that easily, won't they question my command ?

If my memory is clear , these monsters are hungry after walking these mountains for days. If I didn't let them eat their preys after this battle they may rebel .

Although the choice seems easy but I am still hesitating .

Wait a second, I have a plan ."

After thinking a while he came up with an idea .

He said loudly,

" Everyone, I am Aemond of The Lowlake demonic clan. I have come to your village with a grand proposal."

As soon as Aemond spoke , all present stoped doings whatever they were up to and looked at him .

Seeing their attention , Aemond nodded with a smile and said ,

" I will establish a kingdom and your village is going to be very first part of it ."

An old men interrupted him and shouted loudly,

" Everyone knows demon are the master of lies and deception . No matter what promises you give , no one will abide by. One day you all will perish by the brilliance of the sun god ! "

Aemond's subordinates became angry as their masters speech interrupted midway. A gnoll angrily caught the old men and killed him with big knife.

A young women hurriedly came to the deceased old men and started to cry loudly. The gnoll also killed her for not stopping her cries .

Aemond looked at the scene and thought,

" 2 people just died because the are not listening to my speech! Is that called absolute power . Not bad I think I crave that !"

Aemond spoke loudly towards these frightened people's

" Today will be the beginning of a new era . So considering that , I have decided to give you all two options ."

All the people present eagerly looked at the demon . Despite the fact that the demon may be fooling them or preparing to dug their graves by their own hand . They still wanted to save their dear life .

" First choice, abandon all your past beliefs and stop worshipping gods . From today onwards, I will be your god who will protect you all .

Second choice seems to be clear , just die.

Those who wanna be part of my kingdom go to right side ."

Aemond looked around to see the people's reaction. He had a feeling that he can save some people's life instead of killing all of them .

This was not an easy option for them . All of them wanted to live but not under this demons rule . Also it was not clear if the demon will keep his words .

All of the people of this village are followers of the ' Peerless sun god '. So there are a lot of people who are die hard religious ones .

Soon the result were clear and it shocked Aemond .
