Preparing For Battle
The people of Stonefall Village were neither entirely happy nor did they feel safe when the Kobolds arrived.
“They’re huge…”
“What is this? Aren’t they supposed to be short?”
“They’re digging everywhere! My plants!”
Ryan assessed the village before him, and so did Joan and Tom. He saw and understood that the Kobolds were laying traps, and his people only needed a map so that they wouldn’t trigger them. He turned to his aide.
“I need more information about when Baron Illus will return. Can you ask for more information from Merchant Herbert?”
