1 Heibei village

" So this is the infamous Heibei village " muttered a young man with fancy clothes that seemed very out of place given his current location. The young man seemed around 17 years of age and had dark red or auburn hair with what was seemingly a tattoo on the left side of his face. He stood at around 190 cm (6'3 ft) and a had a very calm disposition which was somewhat surprising considering his surrounding's. His clothes look unlike anything that would be seen around this area and even looked different from other nobles that might be seen from time to time. Another thing of notice was the necklace hanging around his neck that was holding nine very beautiful multicolored pearls.

As he looked at the village with a gaze that resembled a hawk he was beginning to be noticed by the village's inhabitants who looked at Yoriichi as if he was a walking money bag despite the somewhat odd sword hanging by his waist.

" Well whad've we got here, are you lost there boy" shouted a larger man who looked as if he was intoxicated despite it still being in the middle of the day.

" We might be able to help you, for a price " said another somewhat lanky man with a feral grin on his face.

" Begone trash I have no use for you" said Yoriichi with a voice of utter contempt for the people before him who were clearly thieves and much worse things as well.

" What was that, it seems we need to teach you a lesson in humility, let's get him boys" shouted the larger man summoning a score of people who had previously been watching the debacle between the stranger and their boss.

(MC POV)

I may have only been a member of this world for a few hours but I am already being hit with a cliche situation like the one in front of me. I reincarnated or transmigrated depending on how you view it to the world of the manga/anime Kingdom, a time of countless wars and battles as well as opportunities for people who knew where to look. I have one such opportunity in front of me as this is the village where the plot of Kingdom really starts. This is one of the benefits I received from scooter-chan which enabled me to come here in the first place with a few benefits to help me thrive, another benefit being the body and skills of Yoriichi Tsukigini the strongest Demon Slayer to ever live and the creator of breathing styles.

Well this may be cliche but it is a good chance to test out Sun Breathing before things get rolling for real. " Sun Breathing First form DANCE!! " shouted Yoriichi while drawing and swinging his katana in a horizontal wheel like motion creating a mirage of flames decapitating the two men from earlier along with a few of their lackeys before they could even process what was happening to them. " Well that was easy" muttered Yoriichi while looking at the now headless bodies of his foes. After gazing at them for a few moments and suppressing the nausea he felt from killing another person for the first time he turned his eyes to the remaining thugs who were now backing away with fear in their eyes with a few of them even losing control over their bladders.

Deciding to quickly end this Yoriichi took a step forward and projected his voice so all of the thugs could hear " Well who's next". His voice seemed to be the final straw for his opponents as they turned tail to run even pushing aside their former comrades in order to escape even a little bit faster.

Seeing that there would be no further fight from the remaining bandits Yoriichi sheathed his katana after wiping the blood off of it and continued walking into the town. As he walked in between the huts that made up housing for these people he made his way towards the river that he knows hid the most wanted man in the kingdom of Qin currently, The 31st King of Qin Ei Sei. After reaching the river he hid himself in reeds so that he would not be discovered until later in the night when Kingdom's protagonist the orphan Shin arrives after witnessing his best friend's death.

While waiting for the sun to go down he ocuppied himself by fiddling with the pearls on the necklace he was wearing. Although everybody would agree that the pearls were beautiful what truly made them special were the wishes contained in each of them witch would provide him with the power needed to succeed here by himself. Each pearl granted a certain power/ aide or item that could help him. The help he got depended on the situation at hand and what he wanted even though ultimately he did not decide what he got from the pearl.

As the sun went down he continued to hide by the river waiting for Shin to show up. He had already decided that he would not show himself until they almost reached the rendezvous location and were attacked by the assassin that would be sent after them so that he could earn at least some basic trust from the child king.

After a few more hours of waiting he finally heard the sound of loud foot steps approaching the shack housing the king. Even in the dark he could see almost perfectly (AN: no idea if this is true if it isn't treat it as another benefit) which allowed him to clearly see Shin enter the hut and then a few moments later the assassin who was after the king's head.

What followed was a brief but intense fight that involved Shin and the assassin who was sadly not a match for the power of plot armor ending with the king decapitating his former pursuer after Shin decided not to kill him after hearing about his kids.

Another example of how dark this world is but I must continue to push forward otherwise I will be left behind. I will leave my name in the annals(nothing dirty here look it up) of history and make sure I am never forgotten.

Pulling himself out of his thoughts he refocused on the duo in front of him who were now being led away by the approaching army sent to kill the king by Ka Ryo Ten or Ten for short. Getting from my hiding spot I silently followed behind them into the tunnel beneath the village. It was pretty easy to keep track of them considering all of the yelling that is going on. I honestly have no idea how they weren't found (AN: We all know how *cough* Plot armor *cough*). After a few hours of walking they exit the tunnel and start making their way towards the rendezvous with the king's advisor with me still following behind them. At this point Shin's body collapses from fatigue and the King picks him up and they keep moving forward.

Seeing this I decide to finally reveal myself as they are approaching their meeting point and helping somebody at their weakest when they can't fight back helps gain trust a lot faster than normal.

(Ei Sei POV)

We have been running for hours and at this point I just want to sleep but I have to keep moving so that my dream doesn't die and all of my follower's sacrifices are for nothing. Even though Shin isn't that old he still fairly heavy but I won't just aside someone who fought for me even if it was for another reason. As we approach a clearing I decide to call for a rest before continuing onwards.

As we stop and drink from what remains of our supply I hear a rustling coming from where we just were running from and I reach for my sword in case it is an enemy as running at this point would be useless.

After a few moments of uneasy tension I gradually see the outline of a single figure steadily coming towards us. As he comes into view I am somewhat surprised by his clothing as it was unlike anything I had ever seen but it was still fancy enough to think he came from a noble background. We continue to stare at each other for a few moments before he finally speaks " Hello there".

(AN: General Kenobi *cough*)
