9 Titanomachy (III)

The Furies are ancient begins. Born from the aftermath of the ancient civil war between a group of primordials known as The Protegenoi, the reason for the war has long since been forgotten even for the ones that survived such conflicts by either being of the winning side or have isolated themselves in separate dimensions.

From all that violence and hate, the Furies were born upon the spilled blood of Ouranos upon the body of Ceto the then Protegenoi of the Oceans. Neither god, titan, mortal, or shade. The Furies were something similar to the Primordials and different at the same. After their birth, they were assigned to punish crimes associated with jealousy, anger, and fratricide. For, a time they left the Furies to their duties as the Protegenoi caring little for the mortals below them.

But everything changed when Ouranos and the Protegenoi loyal to him were all defeated by Cronos and the Titans, in a battle that reached the very edge of the universe, in the final battle between the two forces Ouranos shattered the Scythe of Cronos with his immense power, for as the leader of the Protegenoi he was naturally stronger enough to both hold his position and keep his siblings in check.

But Ouranos was defeated with the help of Gaia, who battled her husband and bought enough time for the Titans to arrange a method to get rid of him. With the destruction of the Scythe, Ouranos could no longer be killed but he could be sealed. And so it was that Ouranos was forcefully sealed in the deepest part of the Skyland a realm that he had a hand in creating, this made him enter a deep state of sleep which could only be fully broken by another primordial or a higher power than them.

Before he entered his slumber Ouranos cursed Cronos, as he was overthrown by his children so shall Cronos be by his own, a prophecy that would fuel his actions millennia to come, the warnings of the Oracle of Delphi only fueling his paranoia and fear that he would also be overthrown by his very own children.

After devouring his first child Cronos started seeing enemies in the shadows, and his gaze eventually turned to the Furies themselves, initially Cronos had left them to their work as their actions only acted the mortals that the Titans ruled, but his fear started to control him as he attempted to take control of the Furies, to make these ancient entities serve and obey only him, his siblings had intervened before the situation could escalate between the two groups but the damage was already done.

The Furies were deeply offended by the Titan's behavior, for they were deeply prideful beings and when they heard of the Titanomachy they discussed whether or not to join the conflict between the Titans and the Olympians. They ultimately decided that they should, but didn't know who to follow.

Hestia was too merciful, Hera too arrogant, Zeus and Poseidon would spend more time trying to get in their clothes than fight the war, and Demeter was simply too reclusive for their tastes. And so they decided to join Hades, for he, to them was the perfect leader, ruthless against his enemies, possessing wisdom beyond his siblings, a sense of duty, and a power that only grew.

His sudden arrival after his fight with Atlas only changed their plans a little.

~~~~~~~~
Waking up Hades expected many things but being in an actual bed, covered in bandages was not one of those. The last thing he remembered was the fist of Atlas hitting him before he blacked out. He hopes that the fucker is enjoying that lighting spear, it is going to take a while for it to disappear. But this shows that he still wasn't as powerful as he would want, while he gained the manipulation of Stellar light from the battle by absorbing Kreios powers it still wasn't enough, and while he used lighting to bring Atlas to his knees he was still defeated through he got the last laugh in the end.
He also possessed control of Dark Energy but decided to save that for later. The battle taught him the lesson to always be vigilant for even as you know you are more powerful than your enemy they may have their hidden cards that could shift the battle in their favor.
"You finally waked up" Hades looked at his left to see a hooded woman staring at him "Good, we were getting worried"
"We?"
The woman was about to answer when a blue firebird appeared on her back and flew straight at Hades. "Daimon!" She shouted at her familiar if he attacked Hades then everything would be for nothing, but instead of attacking him the magical familiar simply touched down upon the bed, his rainbow flames not burning the sheets.
Hades looked at the magical flaming bird and did the only logical thing. He petted it. Daimon seemed to like it.
Tisiphone seeing that the situation did not escalate into a fight decided to continue with her previous words "I am Tisiphone, I and my sisters have taken care of you since you fell into our home"
"Sisters?"
"Yes, and they want to meet you"
"Very well then" If he was going to stay here for a time better to meet possible allies, if they turn hostile he can simply turn this place into dust. "Well then... follow me" Tisiphone was almost shocked at how calm he was, though given by the sheer extent of his power that was nothing he had to fear from them, she doesn't even know if her sister black tar can hold him.
She then motioned for him to follow her to the inner chamber.
~~~~~~~~

"Lord Hades, we welcome you to our home" Said Alecto showing surprising manners to the Olympian in comparison to how she acted around her sisters and their 'guests' that they usually had in their home, through with the Titanomachy the number of humans that were now being tortured by them for their crimes were reduced to zero.

"It is quite nice" Hades looked around the home of the Furies and was honestly impressed, marble walls encrusted with silver, gold, and many other riches, paintings depicting the Furies doing their duty upon many different mortals, from many different periods of history. "But I think that you didn't bring me here just to see your home" Alecto nodded mentally approving his insight, if he was like his brothers he would be trying to get in her clothes like some kind of single-minded beast.

"Indeed my lord, we are asking you to allow us to join your armies"

"Why?"

"Because you were the most adequate"

"Let me think: Hestia is too merciful, Demeter is too reclusive, Hera is too arrogant, and the less said about Zeus and Poseidon the better"

"You are right on that my lord" Alecto was not impressed that he got all their thoughts on the rest of the Olympians, if you lived with a person for a long time then you naturally would know all of their quirks, and Hades either grew with them or fought alongside them.

"Very well I except" Hades then started looking at all of the three sisters, even Megaera who he put his gaze on the longest which infuriated her, even with all of her power Megaera was still a woman and given her unique protrusions see was a bit self-conscious about it. "Disliking what you see" She snarled at him, she was already disliking this "Quite on the contrary" His response visibly shocked her.

And he was being serious, really her appearance was pretty low-ranked against the other horrors of this reality, besides their familiar appearance made so he was facing a rather foreboding sensation, but he couldn't be sure yet, there was just one fact that needed to be confirmed for him to be sure.

"Come Furies, we have a lot to do"

"But my lord what of your wounds?" Asked Tisiphone.

"Oh please this isn't the worst thing I had"

~~~~~~~~
"Sisters, Brothers, meet the new members of my forces: Alecto, Megaera, and Tisiphone. The Furies"
"Brother, how did you manage to do this?" Asked an exasperated Hestia.
"It's a long story"
