16 Chapter 16: Kid from Nowhere

"What the hell? He's acting like a different person right now. I guess I gotta see what he's up to. It's better than just Jason and me playing against this bastards anyway." Nash thought.

While looking at his defender Shin suddenly said " I don't like playing this way but since you guys are dumb f*cks you better be prepared."

Nash was watching his opponent closely as he suddenly saw him smile and quickly threw a lob pass to Jason's opponent.

Jason who was still feeling the pain on his back forgot his mark and was already late in catching up.

He saw his opponent who caught the ball mid air and was ready to dunk the ball. Jason could only thought in his head "Sh*t".

Jason's opponent was already rejoicing in his head as his hand was getting close to the rim.

When suddenly he heard someone saying "Predictable" on his side which only he and Jason could hear.

Startled, he saw a hand in front him stopping his dunk. He tried to force it through but he couldnt budge the hand that was blocking the ball.

He was thinking "What strength!, he is only using his one hand but I couldn't push it through with my two hands".

He noticed that he was getting pushed with that hand holding the ball. He was falling and the ball was getting pushed unto him.

He quickly let go of the ball and was bracing for his back hitting the concrete.

Luckily, Jason was still behind him and Jason caught him preventing from hitting the ground.

He then heard Shin saying to him "You're lucky Jason was below if not" Shin didnt continue what he was about to say,

He then passed the ball out to Nash as Nash's defender was closing unto him. Nash caught the ball and was ready to shoot when Shin's defender got close to him.

He suddenly heard Shin's voice outside the 3 point arc saying "Nash Ball!". He could only thought "What the?how did he get outside so fast".

He quickly passed the ball to Shin who then shot the ball without hesitation. Nash was looking at Shin in awe of his shooting form to his release.

He could only mutter "A perfect release". The ball then shot through the rim hitting nothing but net.

Shin then said "17 right? don't tell me we will win this easily". He looked at his opponents with a mocking smile.

Nash's opponent could only thought "Fuck! That speed and strength is definitely comparable or greater than that silver haired monkey."

Nash was dribbling the ball thinking what to do to score again but seeing Jason still hurt he decided to take it himself to score but Shin suddenly arrive behind him with his opponent following saying "let's switch hand me the ball" he could only hand the ball to Shin and block Shin's opponent for a switch.

Now Shin's opponent is on Nash, while he is facing against Nash's.

Nash's opponent now on Shin was thinking "Big mistake kid. You ask for a switch now you are in for a lot of pain".

He then saw Shin attempting for a shot he quickly raised his hand to block but suddenly Shin didnt go for a shot. As he was close with Shin, he felt something was wrong as he could see Shin smirking.

He saw Shin's elbow was going straight to his face he quickly jump back to avoid it. "Pity" muttered Shin which clearly heard by his defender with a horrified look.

Now with a space between them Shin then moved towards his defender's left. "Not so fast" said his defender who has getting ready to clothesline him like what he did to Nash.

But Shin quickly dribbled the ball between his legs to his left hand and bump his right knee to his defender right leg who was caught off guard while also hitting his right shoulder to his defenders jaw to which caused him to stumble backwards falling in his butt.

He then did a step back and shot the ball from outside the 3 point arc while looking at his defender, scoring another 2 points.

This happend so fast that anyone could think that it was an ankle break.

His defender could only look at Shin in horror and thought "Shit we taunted someone we shouldn't. We're fucked this time.

This kid is a monster. He even shot the ball without looking at the rim. Plus those hits he did I couldnt even react to them.

How come we never heard anything of this kid."

Nash could only look at Shin differently in his mind. He only wanted someone to replace their member who was injured.

Never did he expect to get someone like Shin who's better than him and Jason in every aspect of basketball. Strength, speed, and a quick change of direction with his crossover.

On top of that He never thought Shin could also play dirty like that. He saw everything that Shin did to his defender.

While he and Jason could only get hit and endure the pain, Shin evaded the clothesline from his defender and even hit his opponents leg and jaw.

Nash was also thinking of why he never heard of Shin since he frequently played here with Jason.

He thought maybe Shin was a player on a school from this area but he never heard anything about Shin. "lets just win the game first and ask him later" mutterd Nash.

Jason's opponent was furious and approach Shin grabbed him by the collar and shouted "you as*hole! you did that on purpose!"

Shin then smacked the hand off of his shirt and with a smirk answered "what are you talking about? I didn't do anything".

Jason's opponent was shocked by what happened he felt his hand that was smacked by Shin was hurting. He quickly returned to defend saying " its not over yet" but in his mind " we f**ked up this time, this kid is not normal. That smirk I'm sure he was taunting me to punch him. If i did that what wouldve happen to me. Those eyes Im sure of it. Then my hand f*ck just a smack and its hurting. Just end it already. I dont care anymore if we lose."

Shin then said " just like that? I thought you were gonna punch me or something? sheeeesh I'm bored. Im gonna shoot it right here to end it" while looking at his defender.

His defender was caught off guard by saying that. He was confused why would this kid tell him that.

He thought "it's a bluff, he's only taunting me so that he can drive past me easily".

But he suddenly heard Shin say "It's not a bluff" while quickly shooting the ball releasing from his hand and continued saying " why would I do that when I know I can make it". His opponent could only hear a swish through the net ending the game.
