8 Fresh Meat

As Tate arrived at the gate of the army training camp,he saw two white tigers being stationed as guards.Their eyes are constantly shifting around looking for any threats that might occur at any moment.

Tate walked up to them,one of the guards deactivated his transformation and asked

"Little boy,what are you doing here?Kids shouldn't come here to play."

"I am here to apply to the army,the crown prince recommended me to join under General Tie Hu."replied Tate while he scrunched up his nose after being called a little boy.

Shocked by Tate's answer,the guards examined Tate by scanning him up and down with his eyes and said

"You want to join the army?Can you show me your cultivation first?It's just that you are too young,it's hard to believe that a little boy reach initial 2nd stage."

Tate nodded reluctantly and started his beast transformation releasing his initial 2nd stage aura shocking the two guards that they can't closed their O-shaped mouth.•o•

Tate then deactivated his beast transformation while releasing a sigh.

"Did you say you were recommended to General Tie Hu?"asked the other guard.

Tate nodded and asked

"Is there any problem?"

"Oh it's just that General Tie Hu isn't known for being the kindest general out there.Hehe,are you sure you want to meet General Tie Hu right now?"asked the guard after he finally close his drooling mouth.

Tate nodded

The guard then said"Okay then,follow me."

The guard turned around then started to walk into the training camp with Tate following along.While walking towards the generals tent,Tate could see a lot of young men training outside with their peers.There was even a large dueling ring in the middle of training field.

On the dueling ring,there are two middle aged man dueling each other with their bare fist.Punches was thrown one after another.

The fight was getting really bloody and everyone in the crowd was riled up showing support for both men.

Seeing that Tate was interested in the fight,the guard informed him about it.

"You see that two men fighting in the ring over there.Those are two company leaders fighting for the first place.In the army, resources needed to be fought for,to divide these resources the army would settle it in a competition.Companies under each general would compete with each other over a series of match,20 man brawl,100 man battle and the company leaders themselves would fight.The company in the last place would obtain the bare minimum resources while the companies that obtain a better position would obtain more resources.This creates a healthy competition between peers and motivated them to work harder."

After explaining the duels to Tate,they finally arrived to General Tie Hu tent.The guard then smacked himself in face and said

"Damn,I forgot my name's Mu Chou.What is your name?"

"My name is Teah Tate."said Tate

Hearing Tate's full name,the guards brain seems to be short circuited and the blabbed out

"Teah Tate?Are you General Teah Kuang son?"

Tate then nodded,then cold sweat started forming on Mu Chou's forehead.

"Holy ****,general's son is here and I'm being so complacent in front of him.What if he told on me to the general,damn it I shouldn't have told him my name."

While Mu Chou was having his internal monologue,Tate walked past Mu Chou and opened the tent flap.Then proceed to walk in the tent.

In the tent,Tate saw an old man that past his prime but he exuded a pressure that is like none other.The tent itself had a really simple design a large wooden table full of documents and twenty pillows laid in front of the table.Picking up his courage,Tate walked towards the old man.As soon as Tate walk towards the old man,the pressure on Tate started to increase after each step when Tate finally arrived to the table,he was already sweating buckets with his teeth and fist clenched preventing him from fainting

The old man looked up and saw Tate and said with a smile.

"Hohoho,looks like the fresh meat the prince sent me is not bad."
