When Wang Lei was doing the third trial, Phoenix Soul was in self-shocked. She could not believe what she was seeing.
She did not know how or why the dragon in front of her new 'her', but she was sure of the fact that Wang Lei is also not a part of Primal Chaos but an outsider.
To Phoenix, now it made sense. The reason Wang Lei had a unique or purer bloodline than Azure Dragon is because he is not a resident of Primal Chaos.
As the trial finished, she kept looking at Wang Lei silently. Looking at him, in a state of melancholy, she could tell that he loved 'her'.
But the same question arose in her mind, how can 'she' be in love with a mortal?
The more she thought about it, the more confused she became.
"Now, should we complete our deal?" Wang Lei's voice brought her back from her thinking.
The big eyes looked at Wang Lei and said, "Very well. Then I shall choose which part of the memory I want to see; you do not mind, right?"
Seeing Wang Lei nodding, Phoenix said, "I want to see your memory with the girl called Alice." Just as Phoenix finished, the temperature of the cave dropped several levels.
Wang Lei narrowed his eyes on her as he said, "Since it is part of the deal, I won't stop you, but can I ask why?"
"That is not a part of the deal." The Phoenix said.
Wang Lei quietly looked at the floating eyes. He was really curious as to why Phoenix wanted to know about Alice and not him or his bloodline.
"Then I want the memories of Gods and Devils era, specifically about Darkness invasion." Wang Lei said.
Phoenix eyes narrowed as she looked at Wang Lei, 'Could he be aware of it?'
"Very well." She said.
Wang Lei produced a contract and had it signed by Phoenix; he also signed it.
As both of them signed the contract, Phoenix started to check his memories. After completely checking the memory of Alice, she was shocked. Shocked enough that she was left with a blank mind.
She could not believe that she was looking at the same girl that she saw. There was a difference between heaven and earth between 'them'.
As his memories were analyzed, Wang Lei looked towards her and said, "It is my turn then."
He started to analyze her memories of Darkness. The more he saw, the more astonished he become. It was to the point he lost control of his energy as it started to create cracks all around the cave.
Taking a deep breath, Wang Lei said, "Is that why you wanted to know about Alice?"
Phoenix replied, "That is right. I wanted to check if it was the same person or not, but I cannot tell. There is too much difference between the personality of the two."
"But I am surprised that Darkness invaded this Universe when Mo E destroyed the Wall of Primal Chaos." Wang Lei said.
That is right, what he saw from Phoenix memories when Mo E destroyed the Wall of Primal Chaos to banish one of the Creation Devils, Darkness invaded Primal Chaos.
It seems like Darkness was waiting for the moment the Wall is destroyed, so they could invade the Primal Chaos Dimension.
When Darkness invaded, it brought 8 Overlords with it. Each was as strong as Creation Gods.
But what surprised and even mystified Wang Lei was the 1st Dark Overlord; it was Alice!
He knew that it was Alice, no one knew her more than him. From just one glance at her face and he could tell that it was Alice.
But then, how? How did she become a Dark Overlord when she was killed in his previous world? The only reason he could come up was that she was reincarnated into the world of ED. Joined Darkness there and invaded Primal Chaos with other Overlords.
She was not the same Alice… is what he would have liked to think. But according to Phoenix's memories, she reported her name as Alice and claimed that she was looking for her brother.
All of this just made his mind jumbled with so many thoughts that he could not think straight.
According to the memories, after a hard-to-fought battle with 8 Overlords, 7 were thrown in the 'Mist of Nothingness', at a place called Absolute Beginning.
The remaining Overlord, although, was able to escape but was injured horrendously. The Gods and Devils pursued him, but he hid so well in spatial dimensions that no matter what Gods and Devils tried, they could not find them.
So with no result, they thought that the last Overlord probably died of his injuries, which should not be the case with the recent Darkness invasion.
"We were surprised too. We never thought that there would be people living at the other side of Primal Chaos where only chaos energy exists." Phoenix said.
Wang Lei remained quiet. He was still thinking about Alice. After thinking sometimes, he could not come up with an answer, 'Maybe I should try to go back in past and check it with my own eyes.'
Wang Lei looked towards Phoenix, "Say, do you want to come back to life?"
Phoenix, when heard him, had her eyes stretched wide. "Do you mean you have means to bring me back to life?" She asked.
Even if she knew that Wang Lei was not from this world and may have many methods that are out of this world, she still had a hard time believing that he can bring the dead back to life.
Nodding, Wang Lei said, "I can. But in return, you will become my maid."
"Impossible! You want this noble one to become your maid?!"
Wang Lei nodded and said, "That is indeed what I said. Not that you have a choice."
Phoenix becomes silent. She did not mind becoming his maid as she was under the rule of Azure Dragon in the past.
She wanted to make it seem like that she is not that easy of a girl and has her own pride, but it seems that Wang Lei is not buying it. He did not even try to peruse her.
Sighing, Phoenix said, "Then, please."

She stood naked in front of Wang Lei, who enjoyed and savored her body to the fullest.
He snapped his fingers, and clothes appeared over her body.
