King of Heroes ( The Story of Hero Among Heroes )

The knight brigade was slowly walking through the dense forest.

Although fatigue was evident on their faces, there was also pride and faces full of satisfaction.

If one looks closely at this knight brigade, one will notice that they are consisted of various races.

Other than humans, there were also beastmen, long-eared elves and even dwarves.

At the forefront were two knights.

One had well combed black hair but was dressed in white armor. He seemed to be an elegant and well-groomed young man, but there is strength visible i his eyes. The horse he rode was also a pure white horse, an image reminiscent of the of Heroes in myths.

Behind him was a large framed man in black armor whose face was concealed by a black helmet. The man rode a horse with blood-red colored fur; his appearance reminds one of the god of death.

[Finally we arrived at the vicinity of Romaria city.]

The boy riding at the front talked to the black knight.

[This time it's not only berserking magic beasts but we also suppressed a draconic creature…. If only they came at us one by one we won't be spending more days in the wild than as planned.]

The black knight banged his fist while smiling wryly under his helmet.

[If only I brought Zephyr along with me, even if a draconic creature appeared, it wouldn't have taken this long]

[No matter how much it was magically miniaturized, it's an ancient dragon which is like a divine beast after all. Any bandit will escape upon seeing it and it will also frighten the villagers. Take it as exercising your ability as a knight so it's alright. More than anything, those villagers can now live their life with some peace of mind.]

The boy smiled at those words then turned around and shouted at the knights and soldiers behind him.

[A little more until the castle gate. Puff your chest proudly for we have arrived back home!]

[Oooooー!]

After watching the dazzling performance of the young man, the black knight also turned to glance at the knights who're marching behind him. It was but a few words, but the faces of the knights which were previously filled with fatigue had now considerably straightened up.

This black knight had been with this boy since his early years, Sigurd thought to himself.

His voice could make any warrior's heart tremble. Despite using only common words, everyone will try to keep up with this boy. No one ever doubted his words.

His voice, his appearance, his attitude….all of them combined would shake every warriors' very soul.

This, is exactly that.

The Arcadia Continent is divided into four large countries and several small and medium-sized nations.

At the center is the strongest and the most famous [Holy Arcadia Empire].

At the north is the [Wolfgard Empire], which is ruled by an Empress.

Located at the southern part of the continent is the kingdom known for its temperate climate and abundant harvests: [Sindora Kingdom].

At the west is the ever-expanding, militaristic state of [Thracia Empire].

Other than [Grants' Principality] which is said to have the most powerful troops on the eastern side of the continent, there are also [Byzerd Principality] who aims to unify the east, [Istrea Kingdom] which is regarded as the richest and most peaceful country on the east and lastly, the emerging [Dormadia Kingdom] which is still shrouded in mystery. Many countries converged here and each oneis fighting for supremacy.

Then the inland powerhouse [Trisden Kingdom], the [Tranberg Principality] at the northwest, and many more countries that govern the land.

This was the time of the centuries. An era where countries fought over hegemony while surviving from plots and conspiracy.

The time called for Heroes. Thus Heroes started appearing on this era.

Sephiros Arcadia, the [Thunder Emperor] whose army is the strongest of the continent.

Wolfgard Empire's prime minister, Lord Alfried, the [White Wolf of the North].

The overwhelmingly powerful and violent [Usurper King] Zachard of Byzerd Principality

The lord of the continental sea who controls the invincible navy, the [Pirate King] Rocknade.

The one who lead Thracia Empire's strongest knights to invade other countries, Lord Zyzel the [Grim Reaper].

And among this conflict of countless Heroes, a star with a bright, outstanding light was born.

He is the king who quelled the fires of war on the continent and is called the [Hero among Heroes] by the common folk thereafter.
