2 The old friend

The sun was setting on the horizon, what a beautiful sight. I was sitting in the AV room; alone of course, waiting for Hanekawa "shes late" I grumbled and put my head down, just then I heard someone running towards me, grabbing my neck and suffocating me, I thought I was gonna die for real. "Ayanakoji helloooo!!!!" Hanekawa let go of me. You're too loud, be quiet. "what did you wanna talk about?" "Its such a loooooooong story" she said. "wait do you hear that?" I said, "no?" Hanekawa seemed confused. Aw no, Tachibana slammed open the door, and said (clearly annoyed at me, as always) "HEY, AYANAKOJI, PROJECT. NOW" Hanekawa was confused "but don't we have more then 2 weeks left? You're just trying to steal my precious Ayanakoji, aren't you?" "who said I was your precious?" I muttered to myself. "whats that?" She looked at me with a bittersweet smile "n-nothing" shes scary as always. I looked at Tachibana; her face blushed redder then a tomato, how was that even possible? "wh-whatever you can kill Ayanakoji for all I care" shes mad. "lets go Ayanakoji" she says sweetly. Where did those yandere vibes go?

We went to a place called Popeyes, and I finally mustered up the courage to ask her why she wanted to talk to me for the first time in 3 years. "Well you see, Ayanakoji, he left me" she says. "Serves you right" the words just fall out of my mouth. She looks at me, tears forming " So thats what you really think of me " Clearly crying now, everybody in the restaurant giving me disgusted looks I stretch my hand out and ruffle her hair, sniffling, she looks up like a pleading dog " I'm sorry".

"you should be" she wipes her tears away "tell you what your going to be paying for this date"

I get shocked for a second, she continues " I love you Ayanakoji" "I'm sorry for staring you down while you were getting bullied the last 3 years, and as you're childhood friend I take full responsibility, I love you and I certainly will not lose to Tachibana *tch* that tsundere"

I am still shocked and confused "Give me some time to think, sorry Hanekawa, for not giving an answer right away" I don't know why I am feeling guilty right now

"Take as much time as you need, while your thinking, I'm gonna spoil you to your hearts content" She smiles "how about me wearing nothing but an apron for breakfast?"

"Please don't"

"I'm kidding I'm kidding, but all you need to do is ask" she winks at me

We finished our meals, with her teasing me all the way home.
