6 The Confession

Hanekawa was snuggling up to me during the tutoring session, "Hmmmm" she said, snuggling even closer, her whole body was pressing up against me.

"U-uhmm Hanekawa? Izumi looks troubled..." Megumin noticed my pain, is it pain though? It's the first time I had ever had this much contact, it was hard trying not to stay excited. Tachibana was absorbed in her homework, she didn't notice the commotion. "AYE IZUMI" Oh comon Yusui, a charming friend of mine who would've had a girlfriend if he wasn't so cultured. By cultured, I mean, His girlfriend is a yandere in a video game, creepy I know, but hes a nice guy. He notices Hanekawa snuggled close to me. "So you guys finally made up eh? Happily ever after and all of that" Hanekawa doesn't respond and snuggles even closer, this time putting her hands around me. Tachibana gets up and sits on the other side. She proceeded to snuggle too and started purring. "W-wait Tachibana I'm trying to study" "Do that later, she responds" I could feel her breasts sandwiching my arm. Yusui looked at me, "Ah ha ha ha, Izumi you really naughty boy" "I'm gonna leave you snuggling with them" He left out the door while laughing. "H-HELP ME" I screamed.

I was studying for the exam at home as I got a phone call, it was from Yusui. I picked up right away.

"What's up Yusui?"

"Meet me at the statue outside the mall" He said, then abruptly hung up

It was 1 AM at night, and I was in my room since I came back from school, My little sister was asleep on the couch, so I lifted her up and put her in her bed, my parents live over seas so I don't have to worry about curfew. I picked up my bike, and left.

I came to the statue where I didn't see Yusui, that was strange, what I did see was a beautiful women, bathing in the moonlight, upon closer inspection, it was Tachibana, she walked up to me and sat behind me on my bicycle, "LET'S GO!!" she said in a surprisingly childish voice, she continues after she realizes my nervousness, "Don't worry, I made Yusui call for you he isn't coming, hes surprisingly caring, for one of the most popular guys in school, I though he was gonna be a narcissist" "So where do you wanna go?" I asked? "I'm going to give you directions don't worry" She replied. 10 minutes after bicycling I felt a lake breeze it was so relaxing and calming, at that moment, Tachibana relaxed more, and leaned on me even more, I didn't mind because It felt really nostalgic.

We arrived at the lake, the moon was being reflected off of the lake, the warm breeze, mixed in with the starry sky, and Tachibana was like a dream. We laid down on the grass. "Beautiful isn't it?" Tachibana said, "Yeah, It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen". Tachibana giggled "Izumi, you always answer honestly, and if you don't answer honestly, you act honestly." I didn't know what that meant, but I took it as a compliment. "I watched you for a long time Izumi". I was quiet I didn't know how to respond. "As you were getting bullied, I fell for you more and more, because you laughed you went through bullying every day of your life, yet when you would be going home you would be laughing." I responded with what I could say: "Well, whenever I needed to cry my sister would be listening, when I needed a friend, Yusui would be there for me, I was always lucky to have those two, without them I don't know what I would do for them. By the way, Tachibana, I have a question, How did you know I was applying to this school? Since it's so far away from our old school." Tachibana responded with a smile, "I was working for the secretaries at the office, and I happened to see what schools you were going to, all I had to do was apply"

"But you had so many opportunities because of how smart you were"

"Those don't matter, you do Izumi"

I stopped looking at the starry sky and looked at her. "Izumi. I have a question, which is more beautiful, me or the sky?" "you" I instantly responded, then became flustered at my automatic response. Tachibana noticed. She giggled again. "I love you too Izumi" we stared at each other for a while, "Izumi?" she asked "Yeah?" I responded, still tense, "I love you, allow me to be selfish just this once" Tachibana responded again, "No one will ever stop me from loving you" she put her hands around me and we we continued looking at the stars.

It was 4 AM when I woke up and 2 inches from my face was Tachibana, "Hey, wake up" I said, Tachibana awoke and rubbed her eyes, "Oh hey Izumi" she said as she yawned, "We had quite a night" she said smiling "Uh, yea sure" I said, unsure of how to respond. "Remember what I said to you tonight okay?" she said. "I will, and I'm sorry for not saying sooner, but I might be in love with you too"

"Oniichan where were you?!!!" my little sister said as she was crying and punching my chest. "I'm sorry sis, I was with Tachibana." "This late?" she responded "You better not be doing any funny business, young man, I was up all night waiting for you" "Yea sure, sorry mom" I said sarcastically, "Oniichan you meanie" I guess she noticed it. I went to my room with a smile, I love Tachibana.
