6 Meeting Cai Yinong (3)

Xu Yiming, who had just hung up the phone, quickly called Cai Yinong. After listening to him explain his conversation with Jiang Cheng, Cai Yinong learned that the author was actually quite young.

Cai Yinong thought for a while then said: "Set the meeting place to the Starbucks on Bund road, you don't have to go tomorrow, I'll personally meet the author."

"Seventeen years old but able to write such a good script." Cai Yinong became very interested in meeting him.

....

Early the next morning, Jiang Cheng got up early, exercised a bit and struggled for more than two hours in front of the computer after eating breakfast, typing 20,000 words. He revised it carefully before finalizing it.

After noon, he took another shower, changed into a new set of clothes and rushed to Bund road by car.

When he arrived at the Starbucks, it was two o'clock in the afternoon, but the scheduled meeting time was 2:30, so he was still early.

Jiang Cheng casually ordered a cup of Nescafé with milk, found a seat and drank the coffee while waiting for the arrival of the Shanghai Tangren representatives.

After a while, a woman in her 20's with black hair and her head held high, waltzed in with an effortless saunter. She was beautiful and dressed in professional attire. When she saw Jiang Cheng, she paused momentarily then walked towards him.

Behind the woman was another woman about twenty-four or five years old, with the same professional attire and beauty but at first glance it was clear, her role was an assistant to the first lady.

The two walked in, and the assistant at the back spoke first: "Are you Mr. Jiang?"

Jiang Cheng put down his coffee, stood up, and smiled, "Yes, I am."

A bit of surprise flashed through the eyes of the assistant, seeing that Jiang Cheng was so young.

In fact, Jiang Cheng was also surprised. He didn't expect that the representatives from Shanghai Tangren wasn't the man who had been on the phone with him, but the two ladies.

But sensing the powerful aura that was leaking from the first lady, it was clear that she was a person of high ranking...

Without waiting for Jiang Cheng to think further, the assistant introduced: "Hello, Mr. Jiang, this is the President of Shanghai Tangren, Cai Yinong, President Cai. I am her assistant, Milan."

Cai Yinong extended her hand with a smile and said, "Hello, Mr. Jiang."

Giving her hand a light handshake, Jiang Cheng also smiled and said: "Hello, President Cai, I've been an admirer for a long time. I didn't expect to see you today. President Cai is so young and beautiful.

"Hahaha, thank you"

"By the way President Cai is just my title, please call me Sister Cai. Please take a seat and let's talk." Cai Yinong chuckled softly and her smile grew.

Everyone liked to be praised even if it was just for being young and beautiful, strong women were no exception.

"Okay, Sister Cai." Jiang Cheng said agreeing readily.

It seemed that everyone in the industry called her that plus Jiang Cheng didn't want to always have to call her "President Cai."

There was a trace of surprise in Milan's eyes next to him. Jiang Cheng didn't know, but that didn't mean Milan didn't know. She knew that although Cai Yinong seemed easy to get along with, she had built a strong career at China Film Group in her twenties before leaving them to form Shanghai Tangren, which was now one of the fastest growing entertainment companies.

She had grinded hard to earn the right to be called President Cai and gain the respect of her counterparts in the industry so unless she was extremely close to someone, it was impossible for them to call her Sister Cai recklessly, this kid really had dogsh*t luck.

But seeing Jiang Cheng's calm and collected manner despite his age, she understood slightly why Cai Yinong gave him such a high evaluation.

After the three of them sat down, Jiang Cheng said first: "I came a little early so I've already ordered a cup of coffee. I wonder what Sister Cai would like to drink?"

Cai Yinong said: "I'll just have a cup of black coffee."

Jiang Cheng called the waiter and ordered two cups of black coffee.

After the coffee came, Cai Yinong picked up the cup drinking elegantly the bitter black coffee, whilst giving Jiang Cheng a proper look over:

He had the adonis look going on, slim, muscular, with an almost perfectly symmetrical face. The Shanghai sun had bleached his black hair slightly but he still remained faintly pale.

He was also a fair few inches taller than her but what really caught her attention was his eyes, people often spoke of eye colour, as if that were of importance, yet his felt like they would be captivating in any shade. From them came calmness, determination and a sense of maturity that didn't fit with his age.

It was so uncanny, Cai Yinong couldn't help but ask, "Mr. Jiang, may I ask how old are you?"

Jiang Cheng smiled and replied: "Seventeen, I just had my birthday in April. Also just call me Little Jiang, haha Mr. Jiang is a bit too much for me."

Getting it confirmed. She couldn't help but murmur in her head: "So young!

"Little Jiang, are you still in high school? "

"I just graduated from high school, I'm starting university in September." Jiang Cheng answered indifferently.

"What university? Local or foreign?"

"Local, Shanghai Drama Academy, their Acting Department."

Yinong was a little surprised. She didn't expect that he actually wanted to be an actor in the future. She lowered her smile and said: "So, Little Jiang wants to be an actor in the future. With your talent, you will definitely be the next Jackie Chan or Yun-Fat Chow in the future!"

"Hahaha I hope so, maybe I'll even be in one of your movies!" Jiang Cheng laughed.

"I'm curious though, I didn't expect you to be in the acting department. You have to know, your script was so well written, I could have mistaken you for a veteran screenwriter." Cai Yinong added.

"Hahaha thank you very much, between performing and writing, I've always preferred to perform a little more and the two don't seem to conflict so why not. After all you can always act after you write the script." Jiang Cheng replied, then jokingly added, "Plus, I'm pretty decent looking so why not become an actor. "

Cai Yinong smiled nodding seriously, this kid really had the capital.

With his height, body, charisma and looks. He had the potential to become an idol. Plus he had been admitted to the Shanghai Drama Academy, so he had to have some potential for acting. Thinking of this, Cai Yinong couldn't help but feel a little moved.

However, there was a little doubt in her mind.

Immediately she said: "Ahh Little Jiang, let's get down to business, I still don't know what you think of your own script? What was your original intention in creating the script? How would you position this drama?"

Hearing Cai Yinong's words, Jiang Cheng knew that they were finally getting down to business.

She was also trying to read him which was understandable after all, he was so young but he had written such an excellent script.

However, Jiang Cheng had already prepared for this.

Jiang Cheng slowly stated his ideas and intentions, calmly leading Cai Yinong and Milan through his vision.
