Forging new paths

The ship with King onboard was amazingly fast. Faster than any ship previously seen in West BlueIt was soaring without showing any sign of stopping. As if it was flying and not swimming. The monsters did not tire nor sleep under the command of King.

Ship's crew became weird personality cult dedicated to King. They felt as if they had been blessed. They suddenly felt compelled to work out in order to become even a fraction as strong as King. They used to think it took crazy luck or good genes to get strong, as an example, Marine Hero Garp. But now it's changed.

King made an elaborate plan to show them the power of the human spirit and wisdom. That plan being: ask them for books to show them that his wisdom comes from the sources of knowledge they already have but disregard. After that, look at the sea most of the day to demonstrate the determination of a man to be prepared for any kind of situation. The last part is the most confusing to them. He knew from where sea king came and used voice technique with his King Engine to deal with it in a matter of seconds.

Is King Engine is something regular people can learn? That sound symbolizes a will to fight no matter what. Everybody from Haltom knew that. What hellish training do you do, King?

Even after the fight with the tentacled sea king, they heard grunts from his room for hours. Does he train even after winning? Unobtainable mindset for most. They were not even sure if he slept at all. Sometimes they saw him in the middle of the night staring at the moon. That poetic view that taught them the importance of nature. The Moon gives us the light we need in the darkest of times. The symbol of hope.

"I heard when King was born, he first awoke in the deepest part of the ocean and had to swim out!" young gray-haired marine spoke as he was doing push-ups with four barrels on his back. He was swole.

"That's fake, everybody knows King was trained by himself from the future." replied another gray haired man in his twenties deadlifting two cannons. He was muscular.

"Amateurs," they heard the voice from above, "King erased his own future AND the past, making him an anomaly in our world. He has a millennium of fighting experience. Stop believing stupid theories. "

That was said by a balding man in his thirties hanging by his feet, chained to the ceiling and doing sit-ups.His last hair was gray. He had muscle on muscle. His abs had abs of their own. During his training in the last seven days, he gained a lot of muscle. He trained so hard that his last hair started to fall out.

Every crew member fully dedicated themselves to becoming worthy of being saved by King. But they discovered that their training became more and more useless since the ship had no weight heavy enough.

King didn't acknowledge their training at all. That meant one of two things. The first is that their training was simply insufficient. The Second King showed that they needn't seek his approval to get stronger.

But they did start to copy his behaviour subconciously. They wear more clothes to hide their musculature, get more aware of their surroundings, never show a change in their face before any danger and so on.

A scream was heard at dawn.

"LAND!" a marine screamed from Crow's nest.

Crew started to go to the deck only to see that King was already standing on the ship's forecastle (AN: it's just the front part) looking at the island capital of Ballywood Kingdom, Los Angels. A lovely island to visit but not to live on.

As time passed, the ship didn't stop, even a little bit, since monsters were not told to stop.

The ship totally missed the port and headed straight for the rocky beach.

King turned his head every now and then to look at the crew. They kept silent, as did King.

Marines were absolutely sure that it was a test of their faith.

King, at that time, thought that maybe ships were really good at stopping and waited for the actions of the crew but got none.

At last, everybody thought they were going to hit the rocks in the next ten seconds.

King very much stressed about that and stepped away from the front to be more safe. The thought of crashing at that speed caused King Engine to act up, but only once.

*RUMBLE*

That powerful vibration resonated with the underground water-filled cave system and caused it to partially crumble. Giant rocks started to fall just before the ship went into that deep cave, making way for the ship itself to go. Right after those rocks fell and closed the sea once again.

Monsters took that sound as a signal to stop pushing and started to slow down.

Soon the whole side of the hill started to crumble, making a ravine with perfectly fine fresh water from underground to go through.

Tearing further and further, they swam through a couple hills and even the side of a small mountain. The ship was not even scratched.

King was returning to his room to take his belongings and, since it was not that loud, he had no idea what was happening. He sneezed loudly. Monsters took it as another sign and rested on the underground cave floor.

Crew of the ship, as well as some passersby who went for a jog that morning, have different reactions. Their jaws where hanging to the floor and eyes wide open.

Soon, the ravine with the ship moving along made its way to the river that was going through the biggest capital streets.

To the massive shock of the citizens, suddenly the riverside was broken by a silent and crisp sound of rocks breaking. And then, Marine ship bursts through, gracefully landing in the river before stopping entirely on some small riverside dock clearly meant for a smaller ship.

What was left was a new waterfall with freshwater from underground sources for all to enjoy.

King left his room, carrying his things, and once again got onto the deck unbothered. He was thinking about a new game idea he had just thought about.

"So, we've arrived?" King asked the marines, who still looked blankly the other way.

"YES SIR!" They screamed at the same time and turned with lightning speed.

"Quiter please. It's annoying"

I'm too bad of an author to describe the crumbling of that scale decently.
