11 "He Who Knows Too Much"

It has been one week since Move-in Day has arrived and at last the rest of my classmates have moved in; the one's opting into the dorm program anyway. That small detail eluded me until this precise moment where we had all gathered together for dinner.

"You know what? I take back what I said about Nezu," I muttered loud enough for everyone to suddenly turn my way. "Clearly, he can't take all the credit for something as insane as this. It's got to be god."

"Fam, you're not making sense," Camie said from across the table.

"I'm not? Look around! The ratio of girls to boys is literally four to one. I swear… all the girls in the hero course are probably here right now!"

"What is that supposed to mean?" Itsuka Kendo, the orange-haired big fist wonder who should have originally been in Class 1-B, asked, "Are you saying we shouldn't be here just because we're girls?"

"No, that's not even slightly close to what I'm saying; and I'm not complaining either, just stating an observation!"

"Are you sure Inasa hasn't sparked something in you?" Setsuna dared say aloud.

"You, watch it! Or I'll show you sparks," I said while casting Thunder on the lowest output I could manage. It was still rather showy, as sparks of lightning flickered all over my body.

"Whatever," Setsuna rolled her eyes before adding, "if we could get past… whatever that was," she winked at me, "why don't we introduce ourselves, so we can get to eating."

"Ooh! I want to go first! I'm Ochaco Uraraka."

"Yeah, yeah. Zero Gravity is a nice Quirk," I grumbled.

"Er… Do I know you?"

"Nope, but I know all of you."

"Do you, now?" Itsuku still seemed somewhat peeved as she snorted and said, "Well, why don't you tell us who I am and what my Quirk is?"

"Itsuka Kendo, Quirk: Big Fist. It lets you enlarge your fists to the size of your height, increasing their mass while somehow letting you retain your dexterity. As far as I can tell, your biggest disadvantage would be going against enemies with sharp weapons."

"How did you know that?!"

Through the power of sheer will, and a growl… Setsuna managed to catch my attention and stop me from quoting my favorite character. So instead, I said, "I'd tell you, but if I did… I'd have to kill you."

"Wow! Do me next! Guess my name and Quirk!" A girl with pink skin and hair, and white horns protruding from her temples said.

"Mina Ashido, Quirk: Acid. It lets you secrete acid of your desired strength from your skin. You have a clear disadvantage against water."

"Dude, that was like, scary accurate!" Mina said.

"Heh, can you guess me next?" A feminine voice, coming from… a pair of floating clothes, asked.

"Oh?" I smirked as I gave Setsuna a look. As she recoiled, I said, "You, Toru Hagakure have a pretty unique Mutant Quirk. It's kind of like mine in the way that it's prominently Mutant with Emitter qualities and until now, it's been called Invisibility, right?"

"Until now?" Everyone paused at Toru's question.

"Yup. You see, your Quirk isn't just Invisibility."

"It's not?!" Toru all but screamed.

Addressing Momo for a second, I asked, "Can you make me a laser pointer?"

Momo didn't even question my intentions as she tossed me a pen-like object.

As I fiddled with the thing, I pointed it right around the place where Toru's head should have been and said, "Your Quirk—" I turn the laser point and instead of simply passing through her, a veritable collage of dots appeared all over the dinning room, "—allows you to refract light."

"Eep!" Through some stroke of luck I hit Toru's eyes on my first try. It was only because she had been taken by surprise that my demonstration worked as she quickly calmed down and her light-refraction powers stabilized for transparency; now only a single dot remained going straight through her.

"Fam, you sure you're not a psychic? Invisible homie didn't even know about her own power..." Camie said.

"Don't worry about it," I said as I started twirling the laser point around my fingers. "Remember when I freaked out about you being my dorm mate? My predictions are starting to fall apart," I sighed.

...

The only boys in Class 1-A's dorms turned out to be me, Inasa, Todoroki, and Koda. That was one boy per floor of the dorm! And yet, I was the only one with the capacity to question it. I mean, not that I'm against it; in fact, the four of us are probably four of the most tame boys from the original story.

Todoroki with his daddy issues, Inasa with his brash personality, and Koda who is literally scared to talk… The three of them probably don't even have the capacity to ogle any of the girls we'll be living with going forward. But, the girls didn't know that.

Well, maybe they did after the dinner. But going into it, it should have been a more tense and awkward experience!

In any case, that night ended as well as it could have. Everyone, sans Todoroki, mingled and socialized to get to know each other better, while I was made into a party trick to point out everyone's names and Quirks for like half the night.

It was good fun, building up my reputation as that of "he who knows too much."

Now, our first official day of school had arrived and I had taken it upon myself to announce, "Guys, if you see a massive yellow caterpillar lying on the hallway, that's your cue to shut up and quickly sit down."

"What does that even mean?" Momo asked.

"It means our teacher is a haggard looking hobo who is actually an underground hero with the power to erase our Quirks."

"Are you talking about Eraserhead?" Tsuyu Asui, the frog-featured girl, asked.

"Precisel—" I was cut off by the sound of explosions and yelling coming from the door that led to our classroom.

"Watch this," I snickered as I opened the door and found my favorite person in the world.

"Kacchan, it's been so long," I half cried a dozen fake tears.

"Fuck off and die, Deku!" I'm glad he hasn't changed. He'd been ignoring me at school ever since we almost killed each other.

"Is that any way to greet a friend?!" Tenya Iida, our resident engine-legged speedster, yelled at Katsuki. "First you disrespect your desk and now you turn away a classmate who greeted you so warmly?! Are you sure you want to become a hero?"

"Iida, don't bother with him," I said whilst shaking my head. As the taller blue-haired boy looked at me in shock, I ignored his expression and added, "Yelling will only speed up the hearing damage his Explosion Quirk has caused over the years."

"Ah! I see, I'm so sorry for hurting you!" Iida said, bowing to Katsuki.

I almost choked while holding back my laughter at the murderous glare Katsuki shot the both of us after he digested our words.

Still, I knew better than to stay there standing, so I joined the already seated classmates by taking the desk right behind Katsuki's.

Everyone got seated just in time for a familiar groan to register in my ears. Unfortunately, because no one was by the door at this point in time, our pitiful teacher had to get out of his yellow sleeping bag and open the door to reveal himself.

"Hmm… It's been a while since I've had a quiet first class," Aizawa Shota said as he rummaged through his things to pick out a gym uniform. "Anyways, I know this is kind of sudden, but go change into one of these and meet me out in the P.E. Field."

That was all he said before he left the room without further instructions.

"Well, you heard the man. Let's continue to keep up this facade at least until the day ends," I said, being the first one to stand up.

As I made my way to the door, I shot Mina and Toru a look and said, "Oh and before I forget... After we get through the demonstrations, restrain the urge to show how much fun you think being able to use your Quirk will be."

Ten minutes later, everyone had regrouped at the field.

"Quirk Apprehension Test?" Unsurprisingly, the only classmates that questioned things were the boys in our class that didn't live at our dorm. Everyone else, I'd already trained to accept that I just knew things with my psychic powers.

"What about the opening ceremony?" Eijiro Kirishima, the Hardening Quirk user, asked

"If you're going to be heroes you don't have time to bother with trivial things like that," Aizawa retorted.

"Yeah, yeah. Why don't we skip to the pitching demonstration? If you want, I can even summarize your speech as: irrational government… bla, bla, bla… people are no longer equal… bla, bla, bla… Hey kid, you got the most points right? Use your Quirk and throw this."

Aizawa glared at me, but didn't have any words that could possibly refute what other people must have thought was insane rambling.

He tossed Katsuki a soft ball and told him to throw it with his Quirk.

"DIE!"

As expected it reached 700 or so meters. But, this time, whether it was because of my earlier warning to Toru and Mina or because of the rambling, a lot of the hype that emerged in the original timeline was lost and no one had anything to say; especially not when I was giggling like a school girl and making a mockery of Katsuki's throw.

"You call that a throw? I know girls who could double that!"

"Fuck you, Deku!"

"Enough!" Aizawa shouted. He glared at me for a moment and did something he'd come to regret immediately afterwards. "You... can come up here and have your turn next."

"You got it, sensei!" I pointed at him with finger guns.

'Synergist, Faith, Bravery, Haste, Enfire,' I set up my buffing spells.

'Commando,' I conjured up a greatsword to use as a bat.

Retaining my Commando Paradigm for its boosts to my physical strength, I tossed the soft ball up and yelled, "Hey batter batter—" the ball descended with the force of gravity, "—swing!"

Whoosh!

In a matter of seconds, the ball merged into the sky followed by a trail of fire, growing so small as it got further and further away that I could no longer see it with my eyes. Moreover, since I'd struck the ball with the flat, width, side of the greatsword, I'd displaced a ton of air with that swing and caused a mild infernal gale all around me.

Ding!

"1.63 kilometers," Aizawa slowly said as he narrowed his eyes on the screen.

"And to think I still have another five stages to go, how sad," I said as I changed to my Ravager Paradigm and dematerialized the flaming greatsword.
