1 Mental Health Institution Journey Mental Health Institution Journey

In 1999, South Korea witnessed one of the most significant marriages between chaebol families, who held immense power and influence in the country's economy.

A year after the wedding, a beautiful girl was born, who was widely regarded as a harbinger of happiness due to her innocent smile.

However, little did people know that behind that charming appearance was a cruel and ruthless individual who was destined to bring nothing but darkness The power and influence of chaebol families made this situation even more concerning, as the future appeared uncertain with the potential for this young woman to wield such power and cruelty.

7 Years Later

Iseul gazed through the car window at the pouring rain, before turning her attention back to her family who were driving her to a mental health facility as they were concerned about her lack of emotions and indifference towards everything.

Last night, the family was having dinner when they heard a loud thud outside, and upon investigation, they discovered that the maid who worked in the building had fallen from the 10th floor and was lying on the ground, gasping for breath.

Despite the serious situation, it was observed that Isuel, one of the family members, was laughing, showing insensitivity to the maid's plight as she took her last breath.

As she walked alongside her family into the imposing white building, her attention was suddenly drawn to a young boy with unusual blond hair, which was a rarity in Korea where the predominant hair color was dark.

As she tried to discreetly shift her gaze to see what the boy was doing, she noticed that he was engaged in some activity, but her view was obstructed and she couldn't quite make out what it was.

However, just as she attempted to turn her head for a better look, their eyes met, and she was struck by the boy's bright smile as he held a small cat in his hand, as if he knew she was curious and wanted to share the delight he was experiencing with her.

Iseul's gaze shifted from the boy to the cat he was holding, and she noticed that it was not breathing and appeared to be bleeding.

She looked back at the boy and, without taking her eyes off him, approached him with a cold and stern tone in her voice, asking "What are you doing?" Despite being addressed, the boy merely turned his head to the side, remaining silent while licking his fingers that were covered in the cat's blood, adding to the already disturbing scene.

As Iseul confronted the boy, he began to approach her, reaching out his hand and placing a finger on her face, pushing it into her mouth. Iseul tasted the same substance that was on the boy's fingers, and despite initial shock, she found that she did not mind the taste. She tried to speak to the boy once again, but before she could, her mother intervened and took her away from the situation.

However, just before she was led away, the boy whispered to her in a small voice, "You are like me," implying a deeper connection or understanding between the two of them.

Her mother accompanied her to the doctor's office, where she was instructed to draw something on a white sheet of paper.

Upon receiving the prompt, Iseul started sketching images of various murder weapons, including a knife, a bow and arrow, toxic chemicals for poisoning, and a plastic bag to suffocate victims.

When the doctor asked her about the drawings, Iseul admitted to having previously pretended to kill her stuffed animals. The doctor then probed her emotional state during these pretend-killings, to which Iseul responded by saying she felt happy.

When asked why it made her happy, Iseul stated that she believed that someday she would end up using these murder methods on someone else.
