17 Chapter 17-New Power?

A/N:Sorry for the wait; went mountain biking all day hitting those sick jumps although I did wipe out and now I got a nasty scrape across my legs and back from skidding down a rocky path at 25mph. Also I am trying to learn how to play Kyouran hey kids on the piano to flex on others which I think a perfectly valid excuse in my opinion. This chapter is mainly based around a cool ability I've been thinking of for a while which I originally got from some gamer POJ ff that I can't remember the name of. The next few chapters after this one will cover the sports competition so that will be interesting to write. Anyways enjoy the chap

'Himiko Toga' Nezu read the report on his desk with a frown on his face. The eldest daughter of the Toga family, went missing after attacking a classmate. Strange interest in blood apparently, and is suspected of several attacks although nothing can be proven or confirmed.

He grew even more worried after the last line 'Why did Killua invite a suspected villain such as her as a friend to the group meetup class 1A had' he thought with a frown. He had someone inside passing him information so he could watch Killua for any suspicious behavior, and this was definitely a red flag that concerned him.

Even though nothing too strange happened during the little get together, it still had him concerned over the possible ramifications.

The mouse went back to the other topic that interested him "Apparently Killua is from abroad according to what the informant said, although we can't necessarily trust that since that brat seems quite fond of spouting complete bullshit to mess with people" he thought with great irritation that he had to deal with such a problem child.

If it wasn't for the strength the boy showed, he would have long since kicked out such an annoying student. He had even skipped class the past two days going god knows where. Any attempt to threaten or punish the child ended up with nothing. He would just ignore detentions, and even using his scary face that had even caused tough 3rd years to break down crying in his office before only made the kid laugh looking towards the mouse disdainfully.

Besides, keeping Killua close at the school where he could keep an eye on him was the smartest decision. If he really did kick the boy out, Killua might really become a villain which would not be good.

Despite just being a problematic child in general, now there was this issue with that girl which could mean he had possible ties to villains.

He couldn't spare any U.A teachers to watch the boy, and he had no idea what the boy even does most of the time as his mind went back to a conversation from about a week ago.

"Killua you can't keep skipping core classes before showing up at the end of the day for the hero class" the mouse scolded Killua who idly had a lollipop rolling on his tongue. The teen was holding carryout food that he had just gotten and he had rolled into the campus at a solid 3:30.

"I slept through my alarm, I'm really sorry principal" the boy blinked innocently which Nezu didn't believe a single word of.

"Answer honestly this time" he scolded causing the boy to roll his eyes.

"I would rather train or do something else than attend those early boring classes" he said as Nezu went into thought 'Does that mean he spends all day training his quirk and he thinks normal education is useless' he thought his mind working to understand the boy.

"Where do you go to train?" Nezu asked

"Where ever I feel like it" the white-haired teen replied not giving anything away

"Are you working on your electricity quirk?" the mouse questioned further

"I guess you could say that" the boy shrugged

"You know we have extracurricular activities including training sessions with some of our pro heroes. If you want help with your training, I could sign you up for those" he tried to resolve the situation, but Killua didn't seem to care at all

"I prefer to train alone." the teen had replied quickly not even considering it

The mouse sighed "I'm assigning you detention tomorrow after school for your frequent absences, and I expect you to show up for the entire school day"

"Alright, I will show up the whole day tomorrow" he answered with the obvious implication that he was going to skip detention and that the word tomorrow meant he might not show the day after tomorrow.

The boy had then swaggered out of the office with a smile on his face like he found the whole situation amusing. Aizawa did nothing to help either with the typical "He seemed pretty normal today" boring reports which gave no insight at all.

I need to take this to the next level... It's time to call in a favor.

".....Hello?"

"So you're telling me this one student took out most of the troops and fought with ease beside All-might against the Nomu that was specially designed to take the symbol of peace on?" the voice from the screen questioned

"It's All His Fault!" the white-haired man screamed clutching his face as he collapsed on the worn wooden planks of the small darkly lit grimy looking bar

"We were so close... Nomu Wouldn't Have Been Beaten If It wasn't distracted by that lightning brat!" he yelled as he began frantically itching at his neck

The calm voice on the other hand didn't seem phased "We just underestimated them next time we will take him down. The loss of some common grunts isn't too much of a concern, we can just try again" the voice spoke which seemed to calm the man on the floor down

"Why are the students so strong though... They are just kids..." the man on the floor whined like a child

"Why? Why? WHY!"

The calm voice replied "You shouldn't underestimate them. While they are children, these are some of the strongest upcoming quirk users in Japan. They will mature at a very fast rate, and you can't expect the most common villains to be able to take them down. There are especially a few that are even close to the level of pro heroes such as that ice boy or that angry explosion quirk user who both demonstrated high control along with great power" the voice spoke before pausing

"On the other hand, this Killua boy is very interesting. Brutally electrocuting, and dismembering tens of villains without so much as a change of expression on his face. He along with that other aggressive boy would make great potential recruits. I will have to look into it..."

______________________

On a secluded foresty beach early in the morning, the water surged as waves crashed against the rocky shore. A youth was seen sitting right on a tall rock in the middle of the crashing waves, but the water seemed to avoid him like the plague splitting to either side of him. Invisible to the naked eye, Nen flooded around the youth who had an intense look of concentration on his face.

This was naturally Killua, and he was trying to change his nen into something he had been planning for a long time. Not only would it help him train much quicker than before, but the pure explosiveness of the move would temporarily bring him to a level he had never been at before.

Most of the time people didn't like to create more than 1 or maybe 2 hatsu's because it takes too much time and energy to train it to a level as strong as their other hatsu that could be devoted to strengthening themselves, but this one was different than the normal type. It would bring a huge power increase to Killua if it succeeded.

The surging Nen flowed like a vortex circling around one part on his shoulder which was a glowing black circle. His nen drained at an alarming rate as it continued to be sucked into the seal faster and faster. His body began to feel like it was being weighed down, but that only made him grin as he pushed his Nen to his limits as the elaborate seal on his upper arm glowed with more and more power. Finally, the seal seemed to grow saturated as it calmed down returning to its normal inky black as he collapsed to the rocky outcrop exhausted pushing his body back in Zetsu so he could recover faster.

He laid there tiredly staring into the sky with a wide cat-like smile as his nen recovered quickly. It noticeably felt less powerful, yet he had more control and he could feel a hidden strength in his body waiting to shoot out like an explosion. The seal was pretty much like a switch he could flick on and off at will to restrain his strength and nen basically like an invisible weight over his entire body. This made it the perfect training tool to improve both his nen capacity and strength at a faster rate, but he wouldn't be so excited if it was just that...

The condition was sealing most of his strength and nen away, and the benefit was the amount of time it was sealed would add up like a counter. When he finally switched it off, he could explode out with roughly double his normal strength for the same time he had kept the seal on, and it had taken much experimentation. Not only that, but he estimated he would be able to improve it in the future possibly layering multiple seals although that would take much planning, practice, and testing to make it work.

After a few moments of recovery, he stood up excitedly as the seal glowed with power. Killua immediately felt a river of energy flood his body as his aura fluctuated madly. It took a few moments to contain the rampaging nen in his ten barriers as the urge to test it grew even greater.

Using Ren, his aura exploded out like a tidal wave cracking the ground with an invisible pressure before he drew it back in enhancing his body to an extreme level with Ken. It surrounded him, but it was much denser than normal. From the slightly transparent whitish mist, it almost looked like pure milk from how condensed the nen layers were. Next, from all over his body, nen flowed to his hand as Killua went into fierce concentration. This was the most power he had ever had to control, and it was hard to hold onto at first which is why he had to get used to it.

Slowly he brought his arm back as all the Nen concentrated on his fist starting fluctuating chaotically as he held it together. Feeling like he could destroy a mountain, he then reared back his fist before he smashed out into empty air accompanied by a loud crack like a nuclear explosion that sounded out throwing him back a few meters.

The wind pressure generated by the attack smashed into the rock cliffside ripping apart the solid rock wall like confetti as a massive chunk was gouged out which sent rubble spraying everywhere with deep cracks surfacing throughout the near 500-meter tall coastal cliffs. For a second, Killua thought he was going to cause a massive landslide tsunami, but the rock face held together thankfully only causing a few chunks to crash into the ocean.

Like a switch, the seal was flicked back on weakening him once again. Each step felt weighted, yet the joy in his heart couldn't be extinguished as he relished in this new power that he could challenge his family with. It was a power that he could have used to take his sister and friends to a new life away from the trouble, yet on the other hand, it caused him to look out towards the ocean with melancholy

'If I ever get back that is...'
