13 Chapter 13- Encounter
A/N: Sorry for scattered chapters. Had a chaotic week at school, and most posted chapters were stuff I had already written, so I had very little time to write. Anyway enjoy chap and updates should be more frequent next week due to fall break

Another day passed and Killua took his typical route to school. Like normal, he woke up early before training his nen with included with a few new types of hatsu he had been experimenting with. After a quick shower and breakfast, he left heading down into the busy metropolis city towards the school before he heard a yell
"Ahhh help!" one of the two children captured by this weird pink monster type villain with tentacles shouted out while the other struggled to breathe
Killua saw this and a hint of annoyance etched on his almost expressionless face. Even if he was long since indifferent to such events, it irritated him seeing this type of scene especially with children.
To the side, a few heroes watched helplessly.
Among them was a recent hero known as mt lady. Recently gaining quite a lot of popularity, she had been doing well as a relatively new hero coming into the scene. Her unique ability allowed her to enlarge her body to a giant size making her quite powerful, but it had many limitations especially in a city like environment
She wasn't exactly versatile and anytime she used her quirk, she would have to be very careful not to crush others or destroy property. Now, here she was in a hostage situation with little she could do to help.
"Release them" she spoke for what seemed like the 10th time
The villain with the transformation quirk seemed to almost growl looking at her with a hateful glare "Move away otherwise these kids will die" it spoke in a rough guttural voice tightening its grip around them
The hero gritted her teeth, but she motioned for the others to move out of the way opening a path in the encirclement. Even if he escaped, they could always apprehend him later, but the civilian lives were much more important, even if she loathed to let him go...
"Alright, we have given you a way out, now release them" she spoke with authority gesturing to the path that opened up
"And give up my hostages? The second I leav-" *Boom
A loud sonic boom rattled the windows as something whizzed past smashing into the pink blob-like villain completely exploding the villains head sending blood and goo flying everywhere
The kids screamed as blood sprayed on them and all over the square, but they slipped out of the beasts limp arms relatively unharmed as they looked around wide-eyed.
Hero's quickly moved over brining the children to safety. One even looked like he was going to attempt first aid on the villain, but he quickly realized that was a pointless endeavor since the thing didn't even have a head anymore.
Mt lady herself looked towards the source for whatever person had helped, but all she caught was a flash of a shadow in the far alleyway,. She wanted to chase for a moment, but her intuition told her trying to chase would be pointless, especially in a constricted alleyway where she would have no ability to use her quirk. *Sigh
Yu Takeyama looked back towards the now headless corps with mixed emotions. 'Who ever did that possibly just saved those children's lives but..... Is this the right way to do things?' She thought conflicted. She had grown up instilled with a sense that everyone makes mistakes and even dealing with villains, you shouldn't kill instead doing your best to guide them onto the right path.
Now right I'm front of her was the bloody remains of a villain both a known murderer and a rapist and she didn't know what to think. She was happy the villain was dead, but she immediately felt guilty for feeling that way.
That caused her mind to go back to how the villain had died. That powerful attack had to be someone well known at least' she thought since the villain who was quite strong was instantly taken out effortlessly without the assailants even having to reveal himself. She then walked over to the alleyway to try to find remnant evidence sure enough not finding anything.
'I wonder what person can kill so easily like that. Would they righteous person, or just as much of a monster as the one they kill?' she thought before putting to the back of her mind. After all, she had more patrolling to do, and she could research on it later...

Killua rose the bus towards the U.S.J training facility along with the rest of his classmates for a training exercise. After he had decimated the weird pink monster villain, he had to deal with a few other annoyances that morning. There seemed to be many 'Villains' running around, so Killua kept multiple stones with him for target practice for those he deemed deserved it. Moving targets are always the best practice after all.
When he had arrived at his hero class, instead of the typical stuff, they were actually going to a place with simulated rescue scenarios for the perfect training.
"I wonder what other heroes we will be working with along with Mr.Aizawa and All-might" Mina excitedly said leaning over the seats of the bus to talk to Ochaco and Momo who were sitting in front of her
To the side, a few other discussions went on mainly around the rescue center with many speculations and ideas.
Everyone was mostly wearing their typical hero uniforms besides a few who just wore their typical gym clothes along with a few gadgets. Killua similarily wore his casual hero clothes with his weapons at his side and his bo-staff on his back although he was debating about having a katana or something similar made.
It irked him how a lethal weapon such as a blade or knife was seen as a villain weapon by society. Heroes would be much better defended if they equipped themselves with such items, but they were too concerned about their public image to do so.
Anyway, they soon arrived greeted by a grinning All-might and the mysterious number 13 who wore a spacesuit. The broad domed structure spanned a large distance and they walked through the doors. Entering, they saw a wide area filled with many different terrains and situations that were very lifelike. In the middle fountain, there was a grand fountain surrounded by a stone patterned area in a patterned arc around it.
Paths branching off led to the different scenario places including things like landslides, sinking ships, floods, difficult to reach terrain, etc. A few students even though they were in a stage for a movie.
Aizawa led the group down the steps to an area close to the fountain as number 13 in his large spacesuit was the first to speak "Welcome to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint or U.S.J" as I like to call it for short. Here we will be simulating many different disasters, and rescue situations that will be very important to know" he spoke gesturing to the scenery behind him
The pro heroes greeted each other, and the students were assembled in front of the hero number 13 who began speaking
"My quirk is known as Black Hole, and anything sucked in will be completely disintegrated" the spacesuit guy spoke immediately catching Killua's attention 'Black hole? that has to be pretty powerful' Killua couldn't help but think since the word black hole wasn't associated with anything weak
"Wow That Must Be Super Good for Clearing away Rubble!" Uraraka blurted out excitedly and Killua looked at her a bit strangely 'Who thinks of helpful when they hear the word black hole? I think of a dark mass in space sucking even planets inside with not even light being able to escape its clutches...
Sure enough, the guy responded negatively "Indeed it is, but it can also kill very easily" the guy responded resulting in a tense silence spreading over the group
"You learned from Aizawa's quirk tests how powerful your quirks can be," he said nodding towards the black-haired Eraser hero
"You also learned what it is like to use that power on others" he spoke gesturing to All-might to the side
"Surely you learned how easy it is to hurt someone, and this is why we must be very cautious with how we use our abilities, so this is the purpose of today's training using our quirks for helping people rather than offensive moves" he finished
"Now we will split you into groups-" Killua suddenly became distracted as he felt a dense killing intent catch his focus like a loud alarm blaring in his ear as he looked over sharply his reaction not going unnoticed by a few others.
The spot he was looking at was empty, however his senses could tell something was wrong and he quickly focused Gyo in his eyes. This strange form of energy similar to nen, was gathering around a point on the far side of the fountain around 20 meters away and after a second it became visible to the naked eye as a swirling mass of dark energy that soon caught the attention of the students and teachers who looked on with alarm
Out of the black mist crept a mob of people who were obviously villains with weird gear and clothes that walked out regarding the students with predatory looks.
"What is that?" Kirishima spoke with a bit of hesitation his body already becoming a lot more rigid
"What is going on?" another girl spoke nearby starting to panic looking to the heroes for support
Meanwhile, the Eraserhero had a grim look on his face already bringing up his eye covering preparing to fight as he held the carbon-fiber bandage-like wraps he used to fight in his hands.
In a calm yet commanding tone he spoke "We are being attacked by villains. Everyone stay back, We will handle this" the erase hero spoke stepping forward to meet the tide of villains
Protect the students" was all the symbol of peace said nodding towards 13 as he cracked his knuckles. He stepped forward intimidatingly which instantly caused the entire mass of villains to freeze with most taking a step or two back scared by the intimidating aura the 500 pound hulking figure gave off
While this was going on, the last person stepped out of the portal which happened to be a pale crazy-looking man with whitish hair who interestingly enough had a hand like object pressed against his face as he looked out with eyes crazed with bloodlust
The man instantly zeroed in on All-might stepping forward with a psychotic grin "Good thing your here, saves me the trouble of finding you" the villain said instantly causing All-might to frown
'They obviously knew I was going to be here, so that means they are confident in taking me on' he thought becoming a lot more serious. On the other hand his wide grin didn't change as he stood protectively in front of the group calming the masses as they remembered who was standing next to them.
After all, what safer place was there to be other than next to the symbol of peace?
"Sir we want to help" Tenya Iida was the first to speak with got assentive nods from Todoroki and Bakugo who similarly looked amped up. Many of the other students looked quite nervous, but hearing those words many steeled their resolve looking up determinedly
The Eraserhero was the first to look back with a cold look "Don't be an idiot, this is much different than your little fight against each other. These villains have likely killed many people. and your not even full heroes yet. Just leave this to us" he said looking back before he realized something was very wrong
Suddenly the villain with the teleportation quirk disappeared along with a majority of the villains leaving behind mainly the white haired crazed guy standing next to the weird black monster thing along with around 50 remaining villains
The crazy guy seemed to enjoy the tense look on Aizawa's face "Who are you little hero to be so brave, when you can't even protect your own students" he spoke with a mocking grin causing the heroes to turn around in alarm to see a black mist falling like a blanket over the students who couldn't do anything to resist
Before they could even react, all the students started disappearing before their very eyes except one signature surrounded by the most black mist of them all.
From the mist, they heard a panicked voice that did not sound like any student...
"What The Hell Is This, What Are You?" came out panicked as the black mist almost exploded out revealing revaling the gaseous man's true body which was thrown flying out back towards the villains landing a couple meters away "Why can't use my quirk" came the startled yell as a white-haired boy came out of the shadows with almost an amused expression on his face that was much more unsettling than someone with anger, or hate in their eyes
"I think you got a little too confident you were invulnerable while using your ability." he looked towards the man on the ground "Although this new hatsu I made has many conditions, It is quite useful for slippery opponents like you" he murmured not even paying attention to the others as he observed his handiwork with satisfaction
"Killua get back" came All-might's startled yell as the hero tried to jump forward to help only to be blocked by a black beast they had seen earlier. Raising his fist back, All-might punched using most of his force, only to look back in shock as it didn't even face the creature with weird squishy flesh
"You think we planned to take you on with this little?" the presumed leader guy said with a laugh "The league of villains wouldn't come so unprepared. You like Nomu? He will be your opponent today" the man said with a crazed laugh
'Hmm? Isn't that the group that contacted toga earlier' he thought although he already had suspicions because of the teleportation quirk he was told about earlier
Near Killua, many of the villains ran forward surrounding the teleport villain since after all, he was their escape route
The white haired boy looked back towards the hero locked in combat with the black monster or 'Nomu' whatever the guy called it
"13, go support the other students" the blond hero shouted as he struggled to handle this weird opponent. He could already sense that the students were teleported to separate areas fighting the villains
While this was going on, Killua looked towards the steadily advancing villains who didn't immediately rush in, instead looking quite cautious looking towards the boy who's face stretched into a cat like smile
"Who's first?"
