1 Chapter 1-Quirks?

.

Killua Zoldyck never thought he would be in this situation as he glanced around the classroom with an indifferent look. Yes classroom, the once cold blooded killer was now lumped together with a bunch of immature schoolboys who blindly worshipped hero's with a passion.

The first thing he discovered after the 'incident' 6 months ago was that he was far from home... Originally, the common language and appearances led him to believe he had just been transported far away, but soon he figured out he was entirely in a new world. Here instead of using Nen, the humans had strange abilities called quirks.

Their uses were almost endless with a wide variety of quirks ranging from a mere improvement in vision, to Super strength capable of even flattening buildings which he soon discovered from a certain hero.

Instead of Hunters, the society was predominantly run by powerful quirk users called Hero's who kept order from villains who used their quirk for bad purposes such as crime or murder.

The common language had made blending in not too difficult, and with a bit of hacking he gave himself a identity as a foreign student from abroad. Naturally as an assassin he had no trouble with this except a few minor differences in technology.

Despite all the researching he did, he had no idea how to get home. It seemed like he couldn't get the information that he really wanted. Alluka's power was shocking transporting him to a completely different dimension.

He clenched his teeth remembering what had happened. That sad look she had given him as told him how happy traveling with him had made her feel. She sent him away because she didn't want them to hurt him, but she was the real one who needed saving. I wonder what Gon is doing right now he thought watching the ticking clock on the wall of the classroom

He idly stared out the window once again wondering how he had even got into this situation.

'The people here have Nen like any other living being, but they can't utilize it at all' he thought using Gyo on his eyes as he observed the different people around him.

Some quirks were almost like Specialist hatsu abilities, yet some cases proved his theory wrong.

He looked back towards the teacher who was talking about the student's plans for the future

"It looks like we had three people apply to U.A to be a hero" the teacher exclaimed proudly as if it was an accomplishment to fill out a piece of paper.

Many of their classmates looked up in shock and awe at the mention of the famous her school causing killua to scoff.

People getting so excited over the mention of a hero school that anyone could apply for. If it wasn't for the special privileges that came with it, he never would have bothered applying. Protectors of Humanity? They were a joke with their idiotic ideals.

They were very different from Hunters since their sole job was to defeat villains and prevent quirk use for bad means, yet they were hesitant to even kill villains who had murdered a bunch of people.

Hunters on the other hand, did a wide range of things most often for their own benefit including hunting beasts or treasures. Even bounty hunters who killed criminals once again only did it for gain. What police force? Even if there was a similar organization back in his world, they could never hope to take down the phantom troupe. In the end, personal strength mattered the most.

He found their heroic ideals childish, but it didn't matter that much.

He figured if he was going to be here for a while, he might as well get a hero license, so he could use his Nen abilities in public along with gaining access to more information that could help him get home.

Similar to Hunter licenses, Hero's had special privileges in society including access to otherwise secret information. He figured he could use that to find a way back home, but so far he hadn't found anything yet. He had already labeled his quirk on the application form for U.A as simply 'Electricity' since he couldn't be bothered to explain Nen.

"Bakugo, Midoriya, and Killlua all of you applied?" she asked inquiringly after her previous sentence as if she was confirming it wasn't a mistake

*Thud Bakugo slammed his palm on the desk as he stood up "Don't put me together with the rest of these losers" he said aggressively as he stood up glaring at the green-haired boy "What do you think you are doing applying to be a hero you quirkless trash" he said glaring at the cowed boy who looked like he was trying to merge with his seat

Must be an emitter Killua thought wryly remembering the character traits Hisoka had applied to the different types of Nen users, but that only made him more worried about Gon. Hisoka, you better keep your filthy pedo hands off gone he thought staring at the ceiling before his thoughts returned to the present which entailed watching a kid get ruthlessly bullied while the teacher sat nearby doing nothing

"Y-You don't have to have a quirk anymore to apply, they removed that rule" he nervously spoke in a quiet voice which seemed to make Bakugo even angrier as smashed his hand onto Midoriya's desk with a small explosion completely breaking it as it crashed to the floor.

Killua raised an eyebrow at this. Did the teacher not care? He wondered looking over towards the middle-aged man who did nothing to improve the situation.

"You think you can apply there with me, are you trying to make me look bad?" Bakugo yelled as Midoriya visibly shook "N-No I w-would never stand in your way Kachan I just want to be a hero too"

Killua shook his head a bit at this. He wanted to be a hero, but he was a literal doormat waiting to be stepped on as he did nothing to fight back. Even if he was quirkless, that didn't mean you were weak, but forget martial arts, he looked like a piece of broccoli that hadn't touched a weight in his life.

Bakugo seemed disgusted with his words as he looked at midoriya with disdain "You, be a hero? I'll tell you what, if you jump off the top of the school building, maybe you can awaken a flying quirk" he said viciously as Midoriya mumbled softly something about already trying that

'Damn' Killua thought looking around at all the stunned faces, Not really in the mood to hear about all the self-harm he tried to do to awaken a quirk he thought before Bakugo finally stepped away walking straight up to Killua

"And You, You think you are all cool transferring here not even showing your quirk" he mocked looking down on him

"Your just a white haired freak never talking to anyone. I bet your quirk is so weak, that you are too embarrassed to even show it" he continued on trying to get a rise out of the assassin who only sat there with an indifferent look on his face.

Completely disregarding the aggressive boy in front of him, he glanced up at the clock on the wall and yawned

That seemed to be the last straw for Bakugo since he reared up like he was going to strike. Before he could even bring his arm back, he felt like someone had just poured ice cold water down his back as he visibly shivered.

He looked towards the white haired boy who instead of his usual lazy expression, looked straight towards him with a cold look devoid of emotion. It was a look that made him feel like he was prey waiting to be eaten in front of a horrible predator. Every fiber of his being screamed in warning to run as far as possible, but he stood rooted to the spot unable to move.

Bakugo stood there trembling for a few seconds before the tense moment was finally interrupted "That's enough, no fighting in the classroom" the teacher said as Killua looked away withdrawing his tiny portion of killing intent he had focused on the boy without doing anything else.

After all, that was punishment enough he thought watching the hotheaded idiot finally regain control as he moved away sending a fearful look back "This isn't over freak" he shouted walking back to the front of the class as he tried to stop trembling that seemed to linger in his hands.

The rest of the class soon finished, and Killua walked out with a bored expression. Nothing to do for the next 10 months he thought since he was planning to wait for the entrance exam for U.A along with looking for clues back home.

"K-Killua" said a nervous voice coming from behind him

He rolled his eyes turning to face Midoriya who was staring at his feet "Y-You probably shouldn't anger Kacchan" he muttered as if he was helping Killua

"I can handle myself" he spoke holding back his annoyance as he was about to leave, but then he did something out of character for himself as he looked back towards the nervous boy "Tell me, why do you want to be a hero so bad? You don't really look like the fighter type" he said cynically

The boy finally looked from his feet "I want to be a hero who saves people with a smile, like all might" he said in a tone that was probably the closest Killua had ever seen the boy come to saying something with confidence which was sad in itself

"With what strength, what powers" he said negatively in no mood to entertain his delusions

"I-I" he spoke before looking back towards the floor in silence as Killua continued on

"Do you think that you can be a hero just because you really want to? I'm not looking down on you because you don't have a quirk, I look down on you because you can't even stand up for yourself and you don't train at all. If you really want to be a hero, stop complaining and actually do something about it" he said causing the boy's eyes to widen

Stepping past him, Killua walked out of the building arms behind his head. Why did I bother to tell him that he thought? Whatever maybe he will take my advice, maybe he won't either way, it's not my problem I have better things to do, he thought as his phone rang at the perfect time

"Hello?.... Yeah I will be there" he hung up the phone

Pulling a yellow skateboard out of his backpack, he rolled it forward as he nimbly leaped on rolling down a hill with a bored expression. Passerby's looked at the young kid with kind expressions 'What a cute kid' they thought unaware of the deadly assassin hidden inside, but then again, what assassin would he be if he was discovered so easily.
