15 Going into a Lion's Den

I entered the offices at the usual hour within the morning. For once, the sky did not seem like it was going to pour down on the rain. The last thing the nation needs is another massive Tsunami, with ironically water being the reason for it. Admittedly the capital city has undergone massive changes because of the disaster that occured years ago.

We now had advanced alarms at every area within a 10 block radius, with the material being waterproof plastic that protects that complex writing which enables the sirens to be turned on at any time by the Natural Disaster Control Center, NDCC for short.

Okay, I must be honest, I have hammered you agent Delaney with so many acronyms up until this point, but this was bound to be the case, as I'm sure you know that. To this very day the nation can't seem to get enough acronyms, they're scattered around like birds on a very busy day, just flying around every field or media it seems, including the media Sternwood milks out.

But back at the subject of me going through the offices.

Well….

Ignacio had an insider within the BLV, and to my surprise it wasn't really a hacker, the insider in question often referred to himself as a Technological Invader. If you ask me, a hacker is a hacker regardless.

I think you know where this is going.

But of course before I could even try to do this master plan Ignacio had in mind, I had to seek proof concerning documents that authenticated that Saturn-Voyde still indeed had access towards cameras. During my extensive chat with Ignacio, I kept telling the man that I had nothing to do with it; that I had zero knowledge on whether or not the company was still indeed having control of the capital's cameras.

Maybe the entire nation of cameras, according to Ignacio, and the supposed BLV members that backed him up.

I'm not gonna lie Agent Delaney, at this point I'm just wondering what's running through these people's minds. To think I've spent these last few weeks (or was it months? I never really had the liberty of counting my days to a large degree) attending peaceful protests as well as going far to use my supply of the Internet to post on social media with a ton of hashtags with notable examples include

- safety

- speak up

- fairness

- mental health

- don't rely

The list goes on and on and on. These BLV people aren't stopping at nothing to ensure Decou could have happy citizens without things like Blue Moon or anything that can be used multiple times and can affect heavily on someone's health.

I remember precisely before leaving for work, when I turned my radio to Decouan Daily Box and had them play a loop of catchy jingles whilst I brushed my teeth and got dressed for work, in addition to a steady Decouan breakfast of white rice, chicken and some vegetables in between.

"On the update of the Mortiqar controversy." the radio show host spoke as I was eating my breakfast.

"The CEO of Mortiqar, Darren Howard, has yet to confirm whether or not the recalling of all Blue Moon products have been completed, as this month's Blue Moon count has reached up to 170 people, 20 more than the previous month. At least half of the counted people were still in the hospital, still recovering from the nausea and other system damaging symptoms caused by Blue Moon."

The host continued. "There have been police reports concerning that users of Blue Moon receive their dosages from outside drug stores, prompting an investigation to be conducted."

I stopped my eating at some point, as I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Could you believe that Agent, about Mortiqar? "Has yet to confirm the recall?"

Oh Hec off! Excuse my language Agent, but all those people at Mortiqar, regardless if they're ignorant or not, can all hec off to the farthest depths of the Earth. It was bad enough that people back in college told me to mind my own business. They would say things like:

"They don't need your help Elotro."

"Put your business where it's supposed to be."

"This doesn't concern you."

"You have a life right? Live it."

I was too quiet and timid back in the day, and sometimes I curse myself to not tell them to Hec off. Decouans have the right to speak out their mind. Right, I realized that speech rights were indeed the case of the BLV, so I can't really scold them for wanting to know more about the possible distribution of Blue Moon via the city's cameras.

But goodness, has Ignacio really involved me into this stuff. By the time I finished my breakfast, I received a text from him detailing that he wants me to first find the documents of the company using cameras in the past, then await someone who will bring a package used for me to tap into the main computers powering up the building.

Well, heck.

I do remember saying yes to the BLV and joining their cause, but I don't remember anything about getting dressed and going into a Lion's den.
