2 Ch-2: Unveiling the System

The bell rang, signaling the end of the class. It was like a wake-up call from a dream, pulling me back to the reality of the classroom filled with manga characters. Panic started to set in as my memories rushed back. I remembered the warnings from the manga—getting Reiatsu near Ichigo meant a whole bunch of supernatural craziness was about to go down.

As the teacher left the room, I couldn't help but glance nervously at Ichigo. I mean, who wouldn't be freaked out? Sure, he might look like a regular high school student, but the guy was a substitute Shinigami. You know, the type who fights evil spirits and saves the living world from all sorts of supernatural threats. And, well, I was sitting right next to him.

But before I could dive into a full-blown panic attack, something seriously weird happened. Like, next-level strange. Out of nowhere, a mechanical voice, cold and robotic, pierced through my racing thoughts.

<System>: <Congratulations on transmigrating into the world of Bleach and acquiring the Kidō system. This system will assist you in reaching the apex of Bleach>.

I kid you not, it felt like I'd suddenly stepped into a isekai anime. I blinked, looking around, trying to find the source of the voice. Had someone rigged the classroom with speakers? Was this some kind of elaborate prank?

At first, I was beyond skeptical. I mean, who wouldn't be? A mechanical voice announcing my transmigration and the gift of a "Kidō system"? It sounded like the plot of a really obscure isekai manga. I pinched myself, half-expecting to wake up any second from this crazy dream.

But no, this was real. And as much as my rational side screamed "run away," I couldn't deny the feeling that this system thingy might be my ticket to surviving this manga mash-up. Plus, reaching the "apex of Bleach" sounded pretty darn epic. So, with equal parts curiosity and hesitation, I decided to give it a shot.

With a deep breath, I muttered to myself, "Okay, Ridhikuro, you've been plopped into a manga world, and now you've got a mysterious system talking to you. This is officially the weirdest day of your life."

<System>: <Initiating the Kidō system tutorial. Please remain calm and attentive>.

My heart pounded, and I nodded as if the voice could see me. I had no idea what I was getting into, but hey, when life tosses you into a manga, you go with the flow, right?

Man, this whole situation was getting weirder by the minute. Here I was, in a classroom full of manga characters, chatting with this robotic-sounding system that claimed to give me the powers of a captain-level Shinigami. It was like the ultimate fanboy dream and a surreal nightmare rolled into one.

I couldn't help but ask the system about its functions, even though I had a feeling it would be as monotonous as an automated phone menu. "System," I ventured, trying to sound all composed, "could you explain your functions?"

<System>: My primary function is to facilitate the use of Kidō, both Hado and Bakudo, without the need for Reiatsu. I can block any and all Kidō used against the user and the power output level is set at that of a Gotei 13 captain. You will initially have access to the first ten Kidō spells. Additional Kidō will become accessible as you confront and defeat formidable adversaries.

I couldn't deny it, the system's response was just as flat and uninspiring as I'd expected. It was like talking to a textbook with zero personality. But hey, if it could turn me into a Shinigami powerhouse, I could deal with a little monotone.

So, I decided to check out the interface it mentioned. "Open status," I commanded, trying to sound all cool and in control. Suddenly, a holographic display popped up, floating right there in front of me.

-------------------------------------------------

Name: Ridhiro Kageshima

Abilities: Kidō

Available: Hado - #10

Bakudo - #10

Output Level: Captain

-------------------------------------------------

Seeing my own name up there was surreal. It listed my abilities as Kidō, which I guessed was a fancy term for all those magic spells and stuff. And apparently, I had access to the first ten Hado and Bakudo spells, whatever those were. Plus, it said the power level was captain-level. Yeah, I still didn't really know what that meant, but it sure sounded impressive.

Before I could start daydreaming about what I'd do with all this newfound power, our English teacher walked in. Just like in the anime, those two troublemaker kids, who were always skipping class, were nowhere to be seen.

I let out a sigh. It was back to the grind, back to regular school stuff. But this time, I had this crazy system and bunch of Kidō spells to think about. Who knew what kind of wild adventures awaited me in this manga mash-up world?

Man, the English class dragged on forever, but eventually, the day ended. I gathered my books, feeling a bit dazed. I mean, who wouldn't after all that weirdness with the system and Ichigo?

As I headed out, Ichigo's voice rang out, calling me. "Hoyyy, Ridhiro!"

I blinked and turned to see Ichigo waving me over. Ichigo Kurosaki, the substitute Shinigami, wanted me to hang out with him. Yeah, I was confused, but I wasn't about to turn down an offer like that.

"Uh, yeah, sure!" I replied and joined him. It was like stepping into the pages of my favorite manga.

We strolled through Karakura Town, and everything felt strangely familiar. It was like I'd been here before, but not in the real world.

Finally, we stopped in front of a clinic, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. This clinic, it was right next to my house. This was where I lived in this world.

Ichigo chuckled at my bewildered expression. "Why are you surprised, Ridhiro?"

I nodded, excitement building up. "Yeah, I had no idea I lived right next to your place."

We said our goodbyes and went inside our respective homes. My heart was pounding as I opened the door. What kind of family was waiting for me on the other side? It was like a fresh start in a world where the manga I loved had come to life, and I couldn't wait to see what kind of adventures lay ahead.
