13 Chapter 13 'A normal walk?'

I had completely freshened up, I just wanted to put on some perfume.

"Hmmm which one would I put on? Therme, Rituals, Maroesja, Giorgio or Lancôme?" I mumbled to myself

"So much choice." I've never been really a girly girl with the world full of perfume or loads of makeup and clothes.

"If I were you I should go for the Rituals perfume." Jayden leaned in the doorway, he startled me.

"Jayden? What are you doing here?"

"Okay the last time I stood here and apologized it wasn't me, but this time it really is me and, the last time it was a crazy wizard pretending to be me." He muttered

"Is this your weird way to apologize?" I asked and I laughed.

"I'm sorry I act so childish, not business like as I should have acted."

"Okay?" I raised my eyebrow at the word 'Business'

"I have to keep it professional and only come near you when you need me or when it is needed." He swallowed.

"So?" I tilted my head a little.

"I am only near you when you need me, we have no further contact" He said businesslike and walked out the door.

Somehow I thought that was a stupid idea.

"Jayden?" And I sprayed on the fragrance of Rituals. Jayden made his way back to my room.

"Yes?" He looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Where does this come from?" And I walked over to him.

"I let you know that I have some kind of playful interest in you and I haven't and I will not do that, I am only protecting you, Aurora" And he took a step back.

'Aurora'? No 'Flower' or 'little Flower'?

Okay that hurt, really hurt. Are the tables turned or something?

"Okay." And I Also stepped back and I turned around.

I heard the door close behind me.

Okay I don't know what's going on with me, but it hurts terribly.

I decided to take a walk in the garden, because sitting indoors every day is nothing for me I need fresh air!

I was on my way to the yard and I bumped into Jayden in the hallway talking to another guy I completely ignored him. I didn't even look at him.

I passed him.

"Aurora?" Jayden called me. I walked by he said himself that 'we only make contact when I need it or when it is needed' and at this moment I do NOT need him.

"Aurora!" And he grabbed my arm. And withdrew me to him.

¨ What is wrong? ¨ He said irritably. I pulled my arm free.

"You said it yourself 'We only make contact when I need you or when it is needed' and I don't need you now and it is definitely not needed." And I walked away.

"Where are you going?" He asked more irritated than he already was.

"The garden" I said curtly.

And I walked on towards the glass door. I opened the door and a gust of fresh air bumped into me. I took a deep breath of fresh air and exhaled it. I closed the door behind me and decided to go straight ahead, because I could choose between the right, left and straight on. I came across beautiful trees and flowers in different colors, it was beautiful.

I walked around in the garden for about twenty minutes I came across a bench I sat on it near a small lake this garden is huge! The sun was shining in my face, I closed my eyes and I enjoy the warmth. I leaned back and relax.

It's been a while since I was able to relax. I've always had a lot going on in my mind and now I finally had my relax moment. My father was always on my mind, like how it would be with him if he was in our lives. I always showed people that I didn't care that my dad had left me but the real truth was otherwise I missed him every single day I hoped every second of the day that he would come back or that I would hear from him.. I cried about him for years without anyone noticing, but one day I saw that I had to accept that he wouldn't come back or that he wouldn't live with us that we didn't fit in his life, so I accepted and closed it, because sniffling about something that doesn't come back doesn't help it just makes you sadder.

I was taken out of my mind by loud laughter. I got up with wide eyes, who was that?

I walked to the loud laughter, it was a girl in her early twenties, she was standing there with a boy close to a house similar to my father's mason, but a smaller version.

This is probably the house where the human blood banks live.

The boy stared at me.

"Hello, who are you?" He shouted at me.

They walked up to me.

What should I do? Be nice and social for once in my life?

They arrived at me.

"Who are you? I've never seen you here before?" Asked the boy, the boy had brown eyes and dark blond hair. The girl had blue eyes and brown hair.

"Hello?" The girl said irritated.

"Uhm.. I..I am Aurora." I said soft.

The girl and the boy looked at each other with big eyes.

¨You are Vincent Meijer's daughter? The king's Friend? "She said.

'Friend of the king'? What didn't my mom, dad and Jayden me now!

"Um 'the king's friend'?"

"Yes Jayden Skye, right?" My eyes widened, Jayden is a king?

"Is Jayden a king!?"

"Yeah, well king, king he is now official a prince, but he is going to be crowded soon asking, but he doesn't want that yet and he hasn't found a wife yet."

HOLY SHIT JAYDEN IS A PRINCE AND MUST BECOME KING!

"His parents Erick and Felicia Skye are forcing him to be king." Said the boy.

"What exactly is he a prince of?"

"All vampires that exist" Said the girl.

The boy raised an eyebrow.

"You didn't know about this?"

¨N..no¨

"Do you know Jayden well then?" The girl asked jealous.

"Why?" And I raised my eyebrow

"Every girl wants to be his wife, I try it every day" The boy rolled his eyes at her.

"Uhm no, I run into him sometimes." I responded

"I am not really interested in him."

"Beautiful." She responded with a grin.

"Well thanks for the information, but I really have to go back to my father I promised him to go to him, so I have to go"

"Say hi to Jayden on my behalf!" The girl said with a blush.

"Uhm sure." I turned and ran I didn't even got her name but okay.

But alright to put the dots together.

Jayden is the prince of Vampires now and must become king of his parents.

Jayden the prince -> King.

Okay great got it, everything is just great.

Hell naw who am I kidding.

JAYDEN IS THE FREAKING PRINCE OF ALL VAMPIRES AND MUST BECOME KING! AND MY FREAKING FATHER KNOWS AND KEEP IT SECRET FROM ME AND JAYDEN IS MY PROTECTOR!

Okay keep it calm Aurora, breathe in and breathe out.

How can my parents and Jayden hide it from me and would they hide even more from me? Sure they do no doubt.

I walked in the mason nowhere to see a Jayden or my father. I went to my room and shit there is the royal lying beast!

"Had a nice walk?" He asked.

"Sure it was very, hm enlightling." I responded.

"'Enlightling'? Okay if you say so?" And he frowned

"Yes" And I walked into my room.

Jayden followed me.

"Is there something going on? Did I missed something at your 'enlightling walk'?" I walked on totally ignoring him.

"Spill Aurora!" And he slammed the door behind him when we got in my room.

"Fine my prince or would you rather want to be called king?"

His eyes widened and red.

Omg what stupid thing I said now? I should have kept my mouth shut..
