Here are some background about this story:

1. It is set in the heritage city of George Town, Penang in Malaysia.

2. The characters are mostly Southeast Asians. (Except for the shapeshifters!)

3. It is mostly a fantasy romance in a contemporary setting with magical realism because of the magic and dragon shapeshifters in the story.

4. The companies, people, places, happenings, events, etc in the story are fully fictional.

5. There will be some erotic bedroom scenes in the later chapters so this is strictly for those above 18 years of age.

6.In Malaysia, the ethnic Chinese names start with their surnames and some ethnic Chinese here uses English names, so they will have an English name with their surnames followed by a Chinese given name. For example, Sabrina Chang Jun Ying. Sabrina and Jun Ying are her English and Chinese given names while Chang is her surname or family name. Since it is a multicultural society in Malaysia, this story has a mix of characters of different ethnicities so there will be names of different ethnicities such as Zambree or Jazzmine.

7. This is the same kind of fantasy setting as my other book, A Dragon & Her Yoga Teacher. They are the same kinds of dragon shapeshifters except that the dragon shapeshifters in this book are from the Heaven's Descent Clan (they are flying dragons that rule the sky) while the dragons n A Dragon & Her Yoga Teacher are from the Sea Jade Clan (they are sea dragons that rule the oceans).

8. Updates will be regular and it is my aim to update daily but if something came up and interrupt my schedule, I will update at least 3 - 5 times a week.

9. I have planned more romances, maybe contemporary romances, in future so do support me in this work so that I will work hard & fast to finish this and move on to produce more fun exciting reads for you.

About the characters:

1. Tan Zi Mei - she is 21 years old, comes from a poor family and was left with a huge debt by her gambler father. She couldn't afford college so she works at N Cafe after finishing school at 17 years old.

2. Tan Zan Chun - he is Zi Mei's gambler of a father who took a huge loan from loansharks and ran away, leaving her daughter to face the loansharks.

3. Darren Xing - he is 21 years old and he lives a few doors away from Zi Mei. They are best friends and grew up together. Zi Mei has a crush on him but has never confessed to him.

4. Sheena Lai - she is 21 years old and Zi Mei's ex-schoolmate, also one of her close friends

5. Jazzmine - she is another of Zi Mei's ex-schoolmate and one of her close friends

6. Alfie Lee - he is Zi Mei's colleague at N Cafe

7. Thorin Loong - a 3,000 year old dragon shapeshifter and leader of the Heaven's Descent Clan. He is a silver dragon with strong magical powers. In the human realm, he is a 30 year old billionaire, the CEO of Loong Group Holdings. He needs an heir now as there was a challenge against his position in his clan. A leader of a dragon clan must have heirs when they turn 3,000 years old. The only way the dragon shapeshifters can get heirs were to mate with humans and they must seek out the perfect match to be able to get heirs from mating with humans. It took him more than 2,000 years to find a perfect match in Zi Mei.

8. Jessica Xiao - a 1,500 year old dragon shapeshifter, who is a member of the Heaven's Descent Clan. She is a green dragon with moderate magical powers. In the human realm, she is 28 years old and disguised as Thorin's wife to be in the human world.
