106 [Bonus chapter] A substitute bait

Damon King just told Thorin, Zi Mei and Jessica that Dorian could possibly be plotting to take over as Demon King to rule over the demon and human realms. This could mean actual apocalypse in the human realm, even cause some chaos in the dragon realm. 

Jessica had burst out in surprise that another lesser demon could gain enough power to beat the demon king. This elicited a shocked silence from Thorin and Zi Mei. They had never seen her react in such a loud passionate manner. Jessica has always been this cold, calm, collected and expressionless assistant (and fake wife) to Thorin. She rarely showed any emotions.

"Why, are you worried for me, dragon?" Damon asked after her sudden outburst. Jessica blushed and cleared her throat. 

"I…uh…mean…it will be disastrous if that was to happen," she said in her usual calm voice.
