18 Collision Course

The next night, Danielle meets with her father in his office.

"Tell Leo Saint he doesn't have anything I want." Sunny says.

"Everybody wants this fight ti happen." Danielle argues.

"I don't. Especially after what happened to poor William."

Sunny sits back in his chair with a smile on his face as Danielle gets up to leave his office. He then tells his assistant to tell Cato to escort her off the premises. Before she leaves, Danielle activates her recorder on her phone and hides it in his bookshelf.

"No need. I can see myself out."

As she walks down the hall, she passes by Cato.

"Goodnight, Ms. Morgan."

Danielle smirks.

"Cato. My father's planning on letting you go down for setting up Leo Saint."

Cato smiles, calling her bluff.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Don't worry. You will."

As Danielle walks away, Cato thinks to himself that she might be telling the truth. He then storms into Sunny's office and slams his hand on the table.

"If I'm going down for the Saint Job. You're going with me. You gave the order."

Sunny is visibly confused by this.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Don't give me that, your daughter just told me that I'm going down for setting up Leo Saint. How does she even know about that!?"

Sunny gets up from his chair.

"Calm down. She doesn't know anything. Besides, nobody can prove anything. It's your word against an ex con. We're fine."

Both men are then surprised when Danielle walks back into the office with a smile on her face.

"Excuse me, gentlemen. I forgot my phone."

She walks over to the bookshelf, gets her phone, and plays the recording of them confessing to setting up Leo.

"I think now Leo Saint has something you want."

Sunny scowls, knowing that he's just been played by his daughter.

Meanwhile, Leo and Frank sit with an unconscious William in the hospital. They are then relived when William wakes up.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Leo asks.

William slowly sits up.

"Like I got hit the face with two trucks."

The three of them all chuckle.

"Glad ya still have that winning personality, kid." Frank says.

"Come on, it's not the first time I got my ass kicked."

Guilt then falls over Leo.

"I'm sorry, man. This is all on me." Leo says.

"No. It's not. I wanted the easy way out, I always did. Morgan knew that and took advantage. You two tried to warn me and I didn't listen. I'm sorry."

Frank reaches over puts his hand on his shoulder with a smile.

"Maybe there's hope for you yet, kid."

William smiles and nods at his former coach. Danielle then barges into the room with a satisfied smile on her face.

"We got the fight. Two weeks. Las Vegas."

Leo looks at his brother as William nods at him, almost giving him his approval to him. Leo then gets a serious look on his face.

"Let's get to work."
