43 School Reunion 2

Tristan was quietly having a drink. He had guessed that the man was a guard, so he began scanning the people from his class and to his surprise, he found a hint of cultivation from three people. With his higher than usual mental perception, these kind of things were difficult to hide from his sight.

Tristan wasn't really too familiar with his classmates. He had too much going on in the last year and didn't really interact with them much. He didn't expect there to be several students in his year cultivating. There was one young man who was a center of attention and seemed to be slightly more cultivated than the others and Tristan surmised that this was the kid being guarded.

Tristan ignored it and went to where his sister was talking with some girls. Tristan came to say something to Joanna, but then he saw two people in the group that surprised him.

"Tina? Emily?" How are you two here." Tristan asked.

"Oh, here you are." Tina sneered. "Joanna said you brought her as a plus one? What about Emily huh? I had to bring her as a plus two."

"Ha? Why are you even at this party?" Tristan asked. "You are already in university, have some shame, chasing younger men."

"Hmph, a friend of mine invited me." Tina smirked. "Emily and I have been getting along in the past few days and you just ignored her? Isn't she new to Coastal City?"

"Well, good. She has you to guide her now. Let me guess who invited you." Tristan said.

Tina raised her hand and shrugged indicated Tristan to go ahead and guess. Tristan pointed his finger at the young man with slightly higher cultivation.

Tina nodded and Emily giggled. Tristan looked at Emily. "What happened?"

"He saw you pointing a finger at him and got provoked. He is coming here now." Emily said, giggling even more.

Tristan rolled his eyes. And the young man had already arrived."You are Tristan aren't you? Did you point at me?"

"No, I was pointing at something else." Tristan blankly responded. The young man saw that Tristan was surrounded by three women. He sneered. "You shouldn't use the excuse of sticking to your sister to irritate these two beauties. They have been invited here by me."

"Ha?" Tristan was confused. Was this guy's screw loosened?

"You heard me. Stop bugging these two women." The young man said, trying to show a hint of a domineering stand trying to intimidate Tristan, who remained unfazed.

When the guard saw that, he gulped. "What is this young master doing?"

Tristan smiled. "Why don't you mind your own business and I mind mine, huh? Go back to your clique and enjoy the limelight, why are you distributing lemons here?"

"How dare you?" The man shouted. "Who do you think you are? Do you know who you are talking back to?" He was screaming at the top of his voice, attracting all the attention of the crowd.

"That is Gary, I heard he is very strong. What did Tristan do to enrage him?" Someone whispered.

"I saw that Gary walk to Tristan. I think it is something to do with the women there." Another said.

Tristan shook his head. "Man, I don't know who you are. I don't know most people in my class, so that isn't too surprising. You are the one making a scene here, go to your corner and enjoy, why are you bugging me? If these women have a problem with me, they have mouths, they will tell me themselves. You don't need to speak for them."

"You... insolent!" Gary fumed and was about to punch Tristan who was frowning, but he didn't look at Gary. The guard whose eyes were only on Gary was suddenly hit on the head and blacked out.

A group of people in Blood Red clothes had surrounded the entire room of people.

"If you want to live, then shut the hell up and don't move! Or else my Cursed Blood Sect will kill you all!" A man yelled as he punched the guards who were coming to stop these Red clothed men.

The leader of these Cursed Blood Sect members punched a guard and immediately exploded the body, causing everyone to shriek in fear.

"Super villain!" Someone shouted.

"Shut up!" The Cursed Blood Sect leader yelled. "We won't let the government try to silence the truth of our world! Catch those two!" He pointed at Tina and the young man Gary. "Tie up everyone else! We will use these hostages as bait to spread the information to the entire world. The government cannot keep the hidden world secret any longer!"

People's eyes were filled with fear, but also curiosity. "Hidden world? Government cover up? What was going on?"

Tristan rolled his eyes. What is this new drama? Cursed Blood Sect? But he didn't move, he quietly allowed these idiots to bumble around. Only the leader was somewhat strong, the others were about as strong as this man Gary. Even Emily could take the floor with everyone except the leader.

It didn't take long before all the people were tied up. Even Emily and Joanna didn't resist when they saw Tristan calmly not resisting. Tina and Gary were held in the center. They were confused as well.

The Cursed blood Sect leader spoke. "Miss Tina, grand daughter of the chief of Strategic Defense Department, Master Gary, son of the Martial Alliance Third Elder. Today we will sacrifice the two of you for the greater good of humanity. The government has been hiding the real world and monopolizing its resources only the elite. This cannot be allowed to happen."

Tristan looked on. He was curious about what exactly was their plan? Gary on the hand began screaming. "Where is my guard? He will not let you idiots escape!"

The Sect leader sneered. "Escape? We aren't looking to escape."
