44 Revealing to the Whole World

The Cursed Blood Sect Leader looked at Gary lile he was a fool. "Did you think I would act so sloppily, if I wanted to escape? Let the government and martial alliance members come here first."

Tristan felt something was wrong. Soon the government officials had already stormed the building. They had surrounded the Cursed Blood Sect members who looked like they were about to kill the hostages. Even Liu Daobai had arrived, looking very angry.

"Good, you are here." The Sect leader said and nodded. "Now it is time to begin my play."

Suddenly the TVs and internet of all the civilian people around the country and many parts of the world abruptly changed to show the scene of the Cursed Blood Sect hostage situation.

"Today, the ordinary world will know all about the secrets your government has been hiding and monopolizing for the elites! Begin!" The Cursed Blood Sect Leader laughed.

Then all of a sudden, tens of thousands of people appeared all over Coastal City wearing red clothes of the Cursed Blood Sect. A helicopter cam showed the sect members holding a fire torch and ended up forming a city wide formation circle and then all those cursed blood sect members burst apart into blood mist.

The sky which was dark suddenly became the color of blood red, with bloody thunderbolts flying in the air. It started raining blood as well, scaring people all over.

The cursed blood sect member yelled. "The government is hiding the existence of the magical world, how you can acquire so that the richer people can get richer. Today I will reveal the truth!"

Then the cursed blood sect members inside the house exploded as well to loud shrieks of the hostages. The sect leader's power exploded and then he raised his hand to the sky. The roof of the mansion was blown apart and the blood red sky started splitting apart.

A huge blood red claw cut through space and entered the sky of Earth. Everyone who looked at that claw felt fear. When Tristan saw that, he felt a familiarity from the claw. It was a beast similar to the Singularity Mammoth.

"What is going on?" Liu Daobai was shocked by the power as well. The claw was threatening to destroy everything from the sky.

Immediately top echelon of the six guilds and several clan heads also arrived at the scene. They were stunned. Just who were the Cursed Blood Sect?

Liu Daobai had a heavy heart. "Do we need to use Dawn?" Forever Shadow shook his head. "Only as a last resort."

The Martial Alliance elder saw that his son was in the line of fire and got angered. "Our Martial Alliance has a card we can use, but we will need the power of all the guilds."

"What card?" Duty Bound, an elder of War Conference asked.

"Sovereign Call" The elder said. It can summon an avatar of the Martial Alliance Ancestor, but we need an incredible amount of power to summon it.

"Alright." Forever Shadow said and other guilds agreed as well.

Soon, Twenty Four top echelon began pouring all their energy into an ancient scroll with all their might until the scroll exploded, and in its place, the avatar of a heroic woman appeared.

This was an avatar of Athena, the ancestor of the Martial Alliance. When the Avatar of Athena formed, she began absorbing the energy of the heaven like a vortex as she looked at the sky and shook her head at the claw which was trying to force its way into the Earth's sky.

"Blood Sacrifice Netherbird? Who dared to summon this creature? Luckily only the claw has been summoned and I might be able to push it back." Athena spoke calmly, but her voice was heard throughout the city like a loud boom in everyone's ears. Tristan used aura to cut the rope tying him and quickly jumped onto the the roofless top of the mansion.

He could feel the agitation of the Matrioshka Egg. The Egg had been very agitated these days. He looked at the claw and then he saw Athena's avatar flying upwards calmly.

Then Athena took the stance of a punch and it felt like the entire universe was coalescing around her fist with immense rapidity before she punched the claw that had torn through the sky.

The punch met the claw and the claw was slowly being pushed back. Athena constantly drew out more and more energy as the punch continued pushing the claw back slowly but surely. Yet Athena's body was disintegrating on contacting the Blood Sacrifice Nether Bird. This was its special ability - disintegration.

As Athena desperately punched, the 24 peak experts of the guilds had fallen unconscious and there was no one to help Athena who felt like she was going to fail at the final moment. There was just a little bit of the claw still left in this dimension, but Athena had already lost the power to push it anymore. Just the final wisps of the avatar remained.

At that moment a powerful repelling shot out from the ground. It was extremely concentrated, like a laser, and at the last moment provided the final force to push the claw out completely. The tear in the sky sealed as the nether bird was pushed out completely.

The disintegrating avatar of Athena turned around and saw a young boy barely 18 coughing oodles of blood, but her eyes could see that his internal organs were healing rapidly because of a mysterious force.

"Powerful Recovery Innate Talent" Athena thought.

The eyes of the two met for a moment and both nodded at each other. Then the avatar of Athena completely disintegrated and disappeared.

Tristan vomited a lot of blood, but soon began feeling much better, because of the quick healing and felt fine again. However, there was a little blood on his lips.

He returned to the ball room, this incident had suddenly become a huge mess. Potentially the whole ordinary world had been exposed to this now. He wondered what the government was going to do now? Just who was the Cursed Blood Sect?
