"Do you have a laptop computer I can use?" Jessie asked Bree, who was standing behind the check-in counter in the lobby.
"I have a desktop computer if that works."
"Any type of PC works. I said laptop because that's what most people have."
"Okay, follow me into my office. Please excuse my messy desk. I was working on a project when my guard called in sick." Jessie laughed at Bree's admission, which was the first thing most women said when something they were responsible for wasn't perfectly groomed.
"I won't even look at the desktop. So long as it has ports, I'm good to go."
"Yeah, this desktop has two extra ports." They stopped at her desk and she pulled the chair out and sat down. "Allow me to log on, then you can take over and do your thing."
"Excellent."
