4 Chapter 3 - Meeting The Trio

No, the risk far outweighs the benefits. At a time like this, it would be better if I ignore them and while I'm at it, check out this city. Because I decided to enter a month before the 3rd Eruption, I also choose the same city where the outbreak was going to happen, Nagazora. It would be a hassle to enter it elsewhere, after all.

It is a shame however, this city isn't so bad. The building and landscape is no different than a modern city aside from a few things that obviously stood out. Sometimes, there would be flying ship passing through the city's sky, painting the land below dark with its shadow. Unlike the battleship Hyperion, the one I saw was a small one and only used as transportation for those who can afford the expensive tickets. But it is without a doubt that this world's technology is far ahead that of Earth. I wonder how will they react if something as advance as the flying ship suddenly appeared on Earth?

Their reaction is definitely something to think about but imagining the government knocking on my doorstep few hours later forcing me to shut the idea down. It is too risky. It would have been fine if I was an orphan, but I have a family I treasured. I still have no information on whether the world I came is truly a world of science with no magical power, or it might be just my assumption and the reality is much more fearsome than my initial thought. Call me paranoid all you want but I don't want to die or losing my family in the most cliches ways.

Also, me visiting the fictional world might influenced the latter to undergoing changes that won't usually happens. Maybe it's due to butterfly effect or it might be that the world is adapting to the presence of an irregular. I won't lie, it did happens in my previous visited. But it wasn't something I can't deal with, or maybe my growth was too fast for the world to adapt to.

Anyway, it won't hurt if I keep one in my inventory when I no longer need to hide my presence anymore. Let's be honest here, they are freaking cool. Who doesn't want to own a fucking cool-looking flying ship? This is one of the reasons why I was able to enjoyed each world I visited. Even if the world's technology are no different than that of medieval era, it would still have something that would amazed me to no end. Antique firearms for example; though they are not as powerful as the modern firearm, they are still fucking cool.

In a way, I can also be considered as tourist—world tourist to be exact. I don't really involved myself much in the politics, well mostly as sometimes I couldn't just sit back even if I wanted to. 'With great power comes great responsibility', was it? That must be the reason why even if I visited the world for sightseeing, trouble would always find it's way toward me even if I'm at the other side of the world. Or it might have been because the world was trying to get rid of an irregular like me. If I was the world itself, I would also be afraid of myself because I know how truly overpowered my ability is.

Other than enjoying the beautiful sight and scenery of this video game world, I also noticed a few things that stood out like sore thumb. Every time I came across someone while being amazed at the little things, I would be stunned for a moment at how outstanding their appearance is in comparison to people from my world. It was then I realized it isn't just a single person, but everyone around me is actually good looking. Maybe it is just the people from this city that is blessed by God, but the chance of people around the world actually having the same good looking appearance might be quite high in my opinion.

After all this is video game world, that kind of settings isn't that impossible. Thankfully it isn't a dating sim or I would be seeing flowers and lights all around people as if the world was telling they are the dating target. Trust me as I have been there before and it sucks.

"Meow~"(Damn, that smartphone is sick. It's even more advance than my world.)

Because I was bored staying on one same spot, I decided to strolled in the mall thinking I might find something interesting. And I hit right on mark, but unfortunately I couldn't get near them as the moment I tried, I would get shunned by the workers standing at the side with a fake smile on their face. It couldn't be helped, I'm a cat after all. It's even rarer to see a cat walking into the shop in this huge mall.

Nevermind, I'll just memorize the shop location and the wrist 'smartphone'. Wait for me for a bit, I shall return once I've acquired the means to buy it. With that thought in mind, I resume strolling around.

"Wah! Mei-senpai, look! It's a pretty black cat!"

I can't believe this. I only wanted to randomly strolled around to see if I can see something interesting. But why do I keep coming across important characters before my body is even adapt to the Honkai energy? I had encountered the S-Rank Valkyrie Durandal and her maid, Rita, just a few hours ago, but now I also casually bumped into an idiot tuna and her group. Is this form cursed or am I the one that's cursed?

"Hmm? Why do I feel like this cat is making fun of me?"

As expected of Kaslana clan, she noticed.

"You're just imagining it, Kiana-chan. Come on, let the cat go. Didn't we came here to find a swimsuit for the trip?" Said Mei with a wry smile on her face.

"Da. The Bronya agrees with Mei-neesama assessment. The Bronya also thinks it will be better if we leave Idiotka on her own, Mei-neesama," Said the little girl with indifferent look on her face. As if sensing what I think inside my head, she stares at me but didn't say anything and remains silent when suddenly, she opened her mouth and say.

"No, The Bronya suggest we take the cat with us and leave Idiotka behind on her own," Please no. I'm not at all prepared just yet. Sure, I can easily take care of Honkai Beast but I don't want to show off that I can do that without the use of Honkai energy. If I were to go with them, I'm sure we would be facing the Honkai Beast. Especially, the idiot tuna hugging me tightly in her chest right now. She loves to get in trouble, and that is troublesome.

"Muu! Why do I feel like Bronya isn't the only one making fun of me?" No, I'm nothing but a cat. There's no way a cat like me would make fun of human, nein.

"Sigh, fine. Kiana-chan, you can bring the cat with you but I won't help you if it caused trouble, okay?" Muttered Mei in defeated.

"Yes! Don't worry, neko-chan! Nothing will hurt you with me around!" No, that's exactly why I'm worried. Please, at least let Bronya hold me. She's a lot more trustworthy than this troublemaker tuna. Oh god, why? Why did I think turning into a cat is a good idea? If I had chosen bird, I wouldn't be in my current predicament. With regrets filled my heart, I couldn't do anything other than being carried away in Kiana's embrace.
