12 Chapter 11 - A Deal

Looking at the huge floating battleship Hyperion in the sky, I'm dumbfounded. How can something so huge able to float like a boat sailing in the sea? The very existence of the battleship defy the common sense I once had. While I was mesmerized with the battleship, my body also unconsciously flying toward it.

But before I could get closer to it, I was stopped by a crescent slash made of pure honkai energy which then dispersed the moment it reached a few meters away from me. I looked down and saw a figure covered in a mecha-like suit holding onto a two-handed sword as long as her heights, aiming it's blade toward me.

That familiar figure...I've memorized it all after few years of seeing it every single day I opened the game, and also that red hair like mine—it's her! An A-Rank Valkyrie and the Major commanding the Hyperion, Murata Himeko. She's also one of the reasons why I choose this world instead of many other interesting choices.

While I was reminiscent of the past, Himeko launch another energy blade but the result remains the same; It dispersed before it could get near me. Essentially, she couldn't land any attack on me while the barrier is still active.

"Wait! Why are you attacking me?" Seeing her preparing for another attack, I quickly question her while acting surprised.

"Hmm? So you CAN talk. Well, isn't it obvious? It's because you're a herrscher!" She then launch another attack, but her effort is futile.

"But I'm on your side! Didn't you receive a letter a month ago?" Hearing my words caused her to halt her action, but I can tell she still has suspicion on me. After all, I am really a herrscher. The tattoo on my right biceps has given that out. "How about this, you can plant a bomb or two near my heart so that if I ever use my herrscher power, it will explode as a result. While I'm at it, I will follow you, specifically only YOU, so that you can observe me all you want."

If she follow my words, I can be around her for the observation while at the same time, they can feel safe and secure with the bomb transplant near my heart. Everything I said will give them a clear advantage against me, but if she were to refuse, I have no other way to gain her trust. However, I'm fairly confident that they will take my offer.

Just making sure no one else overheard our conversation, I make sure to put a barrier around us ahead of time so that any forms of communication can't get through it without my permission. I can hear her having a debate with the people on-board. A few of them find it unbelievable that I uttered those words and thoughts it would be better off killing me on the spot, but some of them think that it isn't wise and prefer to take my offer since there is also the fact that the first herrscher also sided with human. With many of them agreeing on accepting my offer, Himeko sigh before putting her sword down.

"Fine, we accept your deal. But just to warn you ahead of time, I'll be watching you so don't make any strange movement or I'll be forced to end you."

"I'm perfectly fine with that." Internally, I sighed in relief. Though it may sounds like I'm on receiving ends, the reality is, my life is still in my hands. Even if they were to put a mini nuclear bomb near my heart and it exploded, I won't die from just that. That's how powerful and scary a True Herrscher is. Or rather, I can tell I'm a lot more powerful than the other herrschers. Is it true, or maybe I'm just imagining it? Either way, it didn't matter.

With the deal's done, I slowly levitate myself until my feet touched the floor of the battleship. Under her watchful eyes, I calmly walk toward her. She then motioned me to walk ahead of her so that she can observe me from behind, but before I did that I open my mouth and say.

"Can I bring the three girls below with me? They are quite important you see,"

"Those three? Do you know them?"

"I do, but they don't know about me yet." She raise her brows at my words, but shrugged it off later thinking it makes her job easier before calling her subordinates to pick them up. Only when I heard that did I stepped inside the battleship alongside Himeko following closely behind me while still equipped in her mecha-like suit.

Midway through our walks, she decided to leave me with her trusted subordinates before heading off somewhere to change her outfit. She only return when I was already imprisoned in a single room with no windows to be seen, the only noticable thing in the room is the wide mirror next to the door.

"Alright, I came here to let you know that the procedure to implant a micro-explosive next to your heart is ready. Also, it will only active once the Honkai energy exceeds the limit. Are you ready to do it now?"

"Sure, let's be done with it, the quicker it is the better." I said as I get off the bed.

"That makes thing easier for me too, follow me."

3 days later, St. Freya High School, Principal's Office

*Knock knock!*

"Madam Principal, I'm coming in."

When Himeko entered the room, she immediately see a small head near the principal's table but decides to ignore it as she teasingly said. "Where are you, Madam Principal? I'm afraid I can't find you."

"I'm here! You clearly see me but choose to ignore me on purpose, didn't you?! Whatever, give me the report." She angrily retorted.

Himeko giggles at her response before pulling an object between her breast before saying, "Wait, here you go."

"Why do you keep important data there instead of all place you can think of?!" Theresa was visibly surprised and embarrassed at the same time at her action.

"But YOU were the one telling me to hide the important information in a place no one can find." Himeko casually reply while tilting her head to the side.

"Enough! Just give it to me already!" She then complained about how sweaty the object is, which ended up with something along the lines that breasts are stupid. "Now then, I'll need a report of what happened that night, Major Himeko."

A few minutes later.

"So, what you are saying is, this man over here is the prophesies Herrscher? And he didn't put up a fight at all, even went as far as driving himself into a corner for our advantages?" Theresa doubtfully ask. Himeko nodded her head, understanding how ridiculous her own words sounds like.

"Yes. Actually, I've received a letter a month ago while I was shopping in Nagazora. I didn't believe it so I went and threw the note in the trashcan. But then that night, the man said it was him that given me the notes saying a herrscher will appear in the same city a month later."

"And you didn't report to me about that?"

Himeko shrugged her shoulders and say, "I was off duty, I don't see any reason to do that."
