Chapter 4

Kaylen was startled awake. She sat up quickly from her bed making herself dizzy from the sudden movement. Her heart racing. It seemed like every time she closed her eyes, she could hear countless screams echoing in her mind and a sinister laugh.

Kaylen brought her knees to her chest and closed her eyes to fight through the dizziness. After a while the small window in her room started to see traces of the coming sun. She slowly got out of bed and headed out of her room. The hallway was still dark, but her eyes could still see the outline of the walls as she made it to the bathroom. Kaylen took a hot shower.

When she returned to her room the sun was brightly shining through her balcony doors lighting the room up. She walked to the closet and got her uniform out that was a size larger than her own. She stood in front of the tall mirror and looked at herself. Her dark brown hair flowed down to her mid thigh that highlighted her fair pale skin and accentuated her tiny waist. She grabbed a black sports bra and panties and quickly wore them.

Kaylen opened her closet and took out some thick gauze. She then started to wrap her breasts tightly making her full breasts three sizes smaller which impeded her breathing if she had to exert herself. After, she wore her school uniform of a black pleated knee length skirt and white button up long sleeve blouse with a matching black blazer.

She returned to the bathroom and put on brown contacts to cover up her bright blue eyes. When she returned to her bedroom, she placed a large pair of glasses on her face and walked out into the living area. There was only a simple pale couch and small table. She busied herself with breakfast of toast and eggs and a glass of orange juice.

When Kaylen finished it was still early. Sitting at the small table she pulled out her laptop. Her small graceful fingers flew across the keys as streams of code reflected in her large clear eyes. Her emotionless face had a rare satisfied look to them.

Kaylen walked briskly to school after finishing her personal online project. She was going to be 20 soon and she had been attending this University for about a year. Even though she was young, she was going to be graduating after this semester.

After a boring day of school, she headed home. When she entered her apartment, she froze. She felt the presence of someone else. She looked to her couch and didn't see anyone. She walked slowly to her bedroom and saw a dark figure staring out of her balcony through the partially opened door way.

"What brings you here Demetri?"
