14 Battle at Heung Gong Island!

After imprisoning the 'Prisoners of War', Karna handed over their punishment and management to the Amerigo Continental Defense Force.

As agreed upon by the Amerigo Continental Defense Force and Heaven's Judgement Alliance, Karna would take High Level above Mages and Mid Level above Elementalists. Since the three High level Elementalists that were part of the Imperial Alliance were already dead, Karna took only the Highest Level Mages with him.

Although he could not get what he really wanted, Karna was satisfied with the result of the battle. His idea of using orthodox Elemental powers with the Elements of the Periodic Table was being effective in combat.

He was also able to verify practical applications of the theoretical principles. And he wanted to kill less and turn enemies into subordinates. All of these he had been able to achieve

Additionally, Akeshi Mitsuhyde had become his spy now. Those were the conditions set up by Karna for his release. In return, Akeshi Mitsuhyde wanted to take the throne of the Dai Oda Empire when the Oda Imperial Family was defeated. Karna did not object this. He knew human nature. Greed was a powerful motivator after all.

After that, Karna left for the Heung Gong Island with Maaya in tow, on his Supersonic Jet Plane.

When Karna and Maaya arrived near Heung Gong Island, Karna first investigated the position of the Bryten Military and the Naval vessels.

He found that the Bryten Conquest Forces had copied the idea of the Shenzhou's Emperor Zhao Zhen. They had built a massive structure, like a two layered wall, surrounding the entirety of the main Island.

There was also a fortress in the centre-west side of the Island which was the Head Quarters of the Heung Gong Division of the Bryten Imperial Conquest Forces.

Mages and 4 low level Elementalists, one on each direction – north-east, north-west, south-east and south-west, manned the massive wall. Same was the case with the fortress. However, there was only 1 mid level Elementalist at the fortress.

All the Elementalists had water affinity except one whose affinity towards Ice was more predominant. Most of the mages were Water Mages with the exception of the few who were Earth Mages.

Karna realized that it must be the Earth Mages who helped build this wall like massive structure. At the same time, he also realised as to why only Water Mages and Elementals with predominant Water or Ice affinity manned those walls and the fortress.

The idea was simple. The most obvious Element of destruction is his element – Fire. Also, Pure Water (water without impurities like minerals) does not conduct electricity, hence Lightning attack is worthless, unless the Elementalist can perform Electrolysis. Wind attacks can also be rendered useless by forming a Waterfall like Water-wall.

Earth based attacks can be used but, water can be used at high pressure like water-saw (also known as Water Jet Cutter) to counter attack. Similarly, metal attacks can be rendered ineffective by using acidic nature of impure water and corroding the metal.

As for the Space Elementalists, they were extremely very few to begin with, and most of them could only use teleportation. Space attacks could only be performed by Supreme Space Elementalists. The planet 'Mahi' had not seen any Supreme Space Elementalist in the last 20 thousand years!

At the very least, it was not recorded in history.

As for Fire Elementalists, they were prepared. The Island was surrounded by water. When it came to Fire Vs Water it is about Quality and Quantity. That is why they had only Water Mages and Water Elementalists. Their plan was foolproof.

Or that was at least what they had believed. It was the same as what the rest of the people of the planet believed. This was going to change soon!

Karna observed and did his calculations. He was waiting for Maaya to complete her tasks.

Maaya returned and said, "Deputy Leader, I have done the reconnaissance. There are a total of 413 mages on the walls and 47 more in the fortress. The wind elementals also informed me that there are Magic Artifacts of High Level."

Elementals were spirit like creatures that helped their contracted Elementalists. Not all Elementalists formed such contracts. There were advantages and disadvantages to it, based on who you are. Karna had not formed any such contract.

Maaya's wind element affinity allowed her to form the contract with a Wind Elemental. But she got to form a contract with the Princess of the Wind Elementals. This was thanks to the Progenitor Aditi's guidance.

Actually, Maaya was not yet powerful enough to gain the favor of the Princess of the Wind Elementals. However, after observing her growth during her training with Progenitor Aditi, Hawaa, the Princess of the Wind Elemental was able to understand Maaya's true potential.

Thus, Maaya gained Hawaa's favor and was able to form a contract. This also meant that the loyal followers of the Princess Hawaa also started helping out Maaya.

It was those Elementals that had perceived the situation and counted the enemy. Also, Maaya was an illusionist herself and she did not like the fact that only Elementals work for her and she just ordered them around. She had learnt from Karna as to what it means to be a true leader.

So using her illusion techniques, that involved stealth and other things, she was able to infiltrate the fortress, that is, the Head Quarters of the Heung Gong Division of the Bryten Imperial Conquest Forces.

She observed and analysed and then reported the situation to Karna.

Karna did not need to do this. He could simply destroy everything in his path; however, he did not want to kill ordinary soldiers who were only following orders. He also wanted to save and turn the enemies into his own subordinates.

And most important of all, he wanted to collect all Elementalists and high level Mages as his personal forces for the real war to come in the future.

Then, he slowly walked towards the north-western entrance gate of the massive wall. He was walking over the Oceanic Water surface.

He achieved this by making the intra-molecular Hydrogen bonds of the water stronger using his knowledge of the 'Elements of the Periodic Table'. As a result, the surface tension of the ocean water increased allowing him to stroll over it like he was strolling on solid ground.

Then with the help of the contracted elementals of Maaya he delivered a message to the Whole of the Heung Gong Island.

"Good afternoon everyone! My name is Karna. I am the Deputy Leader of the infamous 'Heaven's Judgement' responsible for annihilating the Primary Naval Unit of the East India Company of the United Bryten Empire.

I am here to liberate Heung Gong from the evil clutches of the United Bryten Empire.

This is also an official declaration of war against the Imperial Alliance by the Heaven's Judgement.

I would also like to announce that any Nation, Kingdom, Empire or Alliance that seeks to dominate, subjugate or conquer others will meet the same fate as the East India Company and the Imperial alliance of the Dai Oda Empire and the United Bryten Empire.

Citizens of Heung Gong will not be harmed. Anyone who surrenders will not be harmed.

As for the rest… you will receive Heaven's Judgement!"

With those words, Karna ended his announcement.
