6 Chapter 6 - Ultimate Encompassing Cultivation Manual

( Author's note: the acupoints will be reduced from 3.142 billion to 253 thousand cause 3.142 billion is too much and nonsensical, and the reason as to why it is 253 thousand is because that's around how many muscle fibers we have.)

(Another note:

Previous Vision - lines of death, time, space, life, luck, and more.

New Vision - precise muscle movement vision, precise qi movements vision, precise herb hunting vision, nigh perfect/eidetic memory, absolute weakness remover vision, absolute modifier vision.

This is the current vision, and it might increase just to let you know)

Li Duyi walked inside the Martial Arts Library and the first thing he notices is the numerous manuals that are categorized into multiple sections, such as cultivation techniques, combat techniques, sword art techniques, saber techniques, movement techniques, etc.

(Note: Martial Arts Hall -> Martial Arts Library, Young Sect Master, and Young Sect Leader might interchange now and then, but bear with it, I can't decide what to pick.

Note #2: I am a forgetful person)

Since he is the Young Sect Master, he was allowed to view all of the techniques which means he'll have one hell of a time to view all of the manuals from the 1st floor up to the 10th floor.

The first thing he does is walk towards the medicinal section, where they put medicinal books and notes about medicine. He read all of it for many hours, and despite his fast reading ability, it takes him time because of how many books there are. Such as human structures, meridians, acupoints, types of herbs, procedures, precision of ration when making medicine, and many more.

Upon finishing all of the medicinal books, he moved on to the next section, which is the cultivation techniques because of its popularity and one of the basic needs of cultivating a higher realm, Li Duyi talked to the librarian to prepare numerous food pills as it would take him long to read all of the techniques.

This baffled the librarian but he cannot disobey such an order from Li Duyi who was also his senior in terms of hierarchy, he is the Young Sect Master who was on par with the supreme Elder who was the only second in command in the whole sect. This Meaning, if he disobeys him, he'll be punished heavily, and worse case, he will die in vain. So, the librarian immediately ran off towards the Militar Hall where most of the Squadrons of the sects are and since they are the number one supplier of food pills, it doesn't take too long for the librarian to return with a big wooden bucket full of food grain.

Li Duyi, with his flat tone, said his thanks to the librarian before continuing his reading of the manuals. Some manuals are named either by swords, nature, elements, materials, and such.

An example would be the Five Elemental Cultivation, which gathers the five elements, namely, earth/gold, wood, fire, wind, and water. It is perfect for someone who uses elements to fight or formations like the Taiji Sect, but the shortcoming of such a technique is that it uses too many resources to cultivate five elements, and it must be balanced. The next example would be Golden Tree Cultivation Technique, which uses wood and gold element to create a Golden Tree but the thing is that the water element must be present to bring life to the tree, and because of its missing content, it is not suitable for cultivation and might cause qi deviation.

Another example is Multiple Mind Swords. It helps the user to cultivate Mind Swords in a precise way but the thing is that it needs more materials, a quiet place, full of sword intents, an understanding of swords, and many more related swords before he could create such 1 mind sword. In short, it is a waste of time.

But, it's not for nothing cause despite having to spend more time cultivating such a technique, it is also one of the best ways to cultivate one's mind and make him process multiple thoughts simultaneously.

But for Li Duyi, such a technique is as easy as breathing air as he will just learn the essence of the sword, study multiple sword techniques, etc. Then, he will achieve it in a short amount of time, given that his talent is something out of this world.

And so, Li Duyi continued reading all of the manuals for the first floor for 2 months before he moved up by a floor, Li Duyi was surprised at how easy it is to understand the 2nd floors manuals but Li Duyi knows that it is because he had read all of the manuals at the lower floor and even if he didn't, 2nd to 3rd floor is accessible to all. This means it doesn't matter if it is easy or not as long as it could help him create the perfect technique in his mind. A technique that is everchanging but powerful enough and unique to others.

It took him 26 days for the 2nd floor as some of the manuals are either the same context or have familiar ways. But even then, he still finds interesting things like old manuals that are left in the dust at the back of numerous lined and cleaned manuals. These old manuals are so interesting that Li Duyi read them twice or thrice before he could fully grasp the full content of the manual.

As he continues reading, rumors spread among the Sect about how such a rising star has still not cultivated for about 3 months upon entering the sect despite his prestige of having access to the highest floor. Some jealous disciples even tried to slander his name and gossip horrible things, such as how he lived in debauchery using his status but was quickly debunked by other disciples.

Because Li Duyi has been staying at the library all the time except when he needs to take a bath or go to the bathroom, but that's it. Despite such rumors, the center of it all doesn't care and only read all of his manuals in peace. It doesn't even matter if someone saw him or gossip about him as long as they don't disturb his peace.

But like always, some stupid people shouldn't do such a thing and waked the beast of the library. Which ended the disciples' career of ever going back to cultivating, Li Duyi was ruthless in his method no matter who they are and this signifies his status that they shouldn't mess with the Isolated Young Sect Master or else, they'll awaken a monster that can't be stopped unless he is satisfied.

As the saying goes, don't touch a hornet's nest if you don't want to get chased. It is the same principle. Like always, Li Duyi continued his reading on the 3rd floor, and as soon as he got there, he won't stop unless he wanted to. he'll stop when hungry or in need of the bathroom. Li Duyi continued being a guy who made people go away with just his aura alone. The manuals on the third floor are harder than the first floor, and it is because it is near the 4th floor, which is where the inner disciple reads and gets a copy of the manual.

The copy can be brought away but only the person who borrow it can read if another person reads it, it will burn away and a spell will be cast on the person, a spell that could make them forget.

This is foolproof to make sure no manuals will ever be stolen by opponents.

Li Duyi took him 3 months before he finished all the manuals. Ranges from Cultivation up to Alchemist. Even though Li Duyi took that long for him to read all of it, it is all worthwhile for his ultimate technique that is on his mind, and soon, he climbed to the higher floor, the 4th floor which is where inner disciples and elders can be found studying and understanding different types of manuals.

As usual, Li Duyi kept reading when he noticed something. Before, he could only see particles like the time when he saw the golden particles surrounding Lin Fan but this time, through his upgraded vision, he saw something different, it is more precise in differentiating and it cannot only see particles but a silhouette of something. The silhouette piques his interest as he followed the particles. The color of the particles isn't golden, but instead, it is indigo. Sometimes, it changes to a lighter color.

As he followed the particles, he saw a woman around the age of 20 reading a cultivation manual.

The woman scrunched her face as she had difficulties understanding the text. Li Duyi who saw that it was a woman whose beauty is probably at the top of the list in One Sword Sect doesn't give a damn thing and goes back to his reading when someone blocks his way.

A man in his mid-twenties with a wide jaw, a square face, big muscles, a mustache, and thin legs. He must have skipped leg days and jokes aside. The man is blocking Li Duyi from continuing his routine and asked.

" What are you looking at my goddess? Are you trying to flirt with her? Do you wanna die, bastard" Said the man in anger and jealousy, like if you compare him to Li Duyi, it would be like a swan and a duck being compared or shit, it is offensive to the duck and must not be compared at all.

" Move, before you die in vain," Li Duyi said, ready to block his opponent's acupoints.

" A skinny brat dares to kill me? Wishful thinking, " He said, laughing stupidly.

" I'll count to three, one, two, three." As soon as he finishes counting, Li Duyi immediately blocks off his acupoints, rendering his movements as Li Duyi snaps his neck. Killing the stepping stone without hesitation. As for the woman at the back, he notices the commotion and sees one of her pursuers dead as his neck is 180 degrees. Li Duyi coldly looked at the dead body before he returned to his thing.

" Huh? Who's that guy to dare kill someone at the library? He must not have known that it is forbidden to kill fellow disciples in the sect. Well, not my problem." Said the lady before she continues reading.

( Soulmate?)

Li Duyi kept reading like always, and soon, it was time for him to move up, and it took him a month to finish the 4th floor. On the 5th floor, Li Duyi took his time to relax his mind from reading and instead review what he has been reading for more than half a year the rumors circulating him has died down and instead were replaced with something else, he became known as the mortal young sect master in the sect. Which, he doesn't know or care about at all.

On the 5th floor, it took him 2 months before he moved up, and on the 6th floor was 2 months. As soon as he steps to the 7th floor, he reads all of the manuals intently since the manuals are for core disciples only, and fortunately, the manuals are not that many compared to the lower floor Which took him a month, and it's been a year since he arrived at the One Sword Sect.

Sometimes, elder Mo visited him to ask why he was reading all of the manuals when he could just pick one on the 10th floor he answered that he must create his techniques and to do that, he must read all of the books no matter how long it took him. Elder Mo reported to the Sect Master why Li Duyi is staying at the library for a year, and he told the Elders to let Li Duyi be.

And so, the 8th floor has fewer manuals it took him 20 days to finish, and the 9th floor finishes at 15 days.

Finally, he arrived at the top floor, the 10th floor, where only the Sect Leader, Ancestor, and the Young Sect Leader were allowed. But the manuals he saw only amounted to 20 books. Li Duyi was a little surprised by this, but with his memories of the novels he has read, it is understandable. So, it took him a day to finish reading all of it.

" I've finally finished reading all the manuals, and today is the day I'll create my techniques. First, a cultivation technique as it is important for a cultivator. Combining the Cultivation Manuals I have read, filtering the useless ones, covering the weaknesses, thoroughly inspecting to make sure none are in flaws, and finally, creating the final piece." Li Duyi mumbled, while his mind was working at super speed, filtering the useless, covering weakness, and creating.

" The name of this technique shall be called Ultimate Encompassing Cultivation Manual or U.E.C in short. This manual encompasses all of the cultivation manuals and is the strongest manual to have ever existed. Soon, I could improve this technique even further through other sects' libraries. Upon using this manual, I could finally unlock my acupoints in one go, and U.E.C. has a healing and strengthening factor. This Meaning, every time I use this manual, I can essentially strengthen my acupoints, meridians, dantian, muscles, bones, blood, and every part of me. This technique could also give me a healing factor on par with Wolverine"

" The qi absorption rate of this manual is a hundred times better than the top manuals of the sect. But, it would distribute to every part of my body to strengthen which is okay. I might not make fast progress but having the best foundation is better than a fragile foundation " Li Duyi said as he uses the U.E.C and as soon as he practices, the qi around him was instantly sucked and like a vortex, the surrounding qi of 100 meters was instantly sucked by him and all of his 253 thousand acupoints has finally opened up in one go.

With the healing factor, it heals at a fast pace that the pain seemingly vanishes as if it wasn't there. His dantian was filled by the qi as he broke through the first stage of cultivation and instead skipped the other three stages and reached the Spiritual Sea Realm 1st stage.

The commotion he cause when cultivating alerted all of the residents of One Sword Sect as they flew toward the library to see that it was Li Duyi cultivating and reaching the Spiritual Sea Realm. Shocking the Elders and the Sect Leader who knows that Li Duyi was a mortal before and hasn't unlocked his acupoints.
