Chapter Two, Rose

I opened my eyes when nothing came.

To my surprise, his fist was stopped by a strong looking arm. I looked over to see who would dare defy Tyler and I felt a wave of relief as I saw it was Parker. That relief turned into fear very quickly as I saw the anger in his normally gleeful eyes. Tyler turned his head to look at Parker and dropped me to the ground harshly so that he could turn his attention to Parker.

"Who do you think you are touching me?!" He growled at Parker. Parker pushed him out of his way and immediately came to me and helped me up.

"Are you okay Rosey?" He softly asked me with pain and concern now in his eyes. I let out a small terrified nod as I pointed back to Tyler who was trying to charge at Parker now.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST IGNORE ME?!" He screamed in a raw animal like rage as he tried to land a punch on Parker.

Parker sighed loudly and turned to face Tyler. I barely had time to process what happened next it happened so fast. Tyler swung at Parker and Parker gracefully dodged it and grabbed his arm and snapped it as he then slammed him to the ground holding his now broken arm behind his back. I could hear the crowd gasp and start recording as Tyler screamed loudly.

Parker grabbed his chin to make Tyler look him into the eye and spoke in such a cold scary tone I have never heard come out of him,

"If you ever put your hands on her again you'll wish you never met me. Now get out of here before I put you in the hospital." He let him go and grabbed my hard firmly and whisked me away before I had time to say anything.

Once we were away from the school and crowd he let go of my trembling hand and faced me. He analyzed my face to make sure I wasn't hurt and then tightly embraced me once he was satisfied that I hadn't gotten hurt in any way.

"God I'm so sorry for leaving you alone after school. I should've been there sooner. You needed me and I wasn't there I'm so sorry Rosey." He finally said to me as his face was burrowed in my hair that came loose in the middle of all that chaos.

I was so shocked about what happened that it took me a moment before I finally allowed myself to really break down and cry. He broke away from the hug and wiped away all my tears.

"I swear I'll always be here for you Rosey."

I looked up into his eyes and asked him quietly,

"Forever Spidey?"

"Forever and always Rosey," he said proudly then continued,

"I swear on my life that I'll always protect you and stay by your side. So wipe those tears away and let's head home, he said as he extended his hand out to me and smiled warmly. I took his hand and we headed home.
