I really like the original setting and vibe of this story. It's NOT like a standard RPG-alike fantasy about one more Fearless Hero™ with one more Party of Dedicated Friends™, consisting of swordsman, archer, wizard and trickster, who are going to overcome army of monsters, get several level-ups and defeat one more Dark Lord™. Nothing like that! Instead we have a bunch of AUTHENTIC characters with interesting INNER CONFLICTS and often not obvious motives, and each of them has a non-standard INDIVIDUALITY. This world is NOT just black and white, so we can't be sure, who is evil, and who is good. The magic aspect here is pretty original, too. Magic abilities of characters vary widely and often are revealed not instantly, but instead become a surprise at some point of a plot. The plot itself is twisted and enthralling, so I really wonder, how will it end!
