Beginnings

In a warm, sunny day, I was sleeping on my bed peacefully. Feeling rays of sunshine that radiated, surprising heat, I open my eyes.

'It hurts...,' I thought.

As I looked over the window, my vision came to a stop when...

"....WHAT!!!!" as my voice echoes until nowhere. Why did I do that, you might ask? It's because when I saw outside my room, I just knew, that I wasn't on the Earth that I once knew.

Flying ships, high-rise buildings that I have no recollection of having seen in the past, and there's people with weird, headphones on their ears! A, are, wait...

"Robots?" I mutter to myself.

I saw some people pass by my house, the ones with those headphones, I think to myself if they're some trending things today, those headphones. Boy was I mistaken. I saw one such person hold a steel beam in one hand in a construction site near my house! No human can do it single-handedly!

As I have come into terms with my realizations, I can't help but say:

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!!" in a comical loud voice, where you can here the birds flapping away.

How did it come to this, then? Well, let's go back to the start.

Hi, I'm Satou Daichi, a normal person in Earth, 22 years old this 2020, single, and... a newly found fan of the Kamen Rider series. Really.

I was amazed with the when my relative showed me a transformation of the protagonist of Kamen Rider Zi-O in 2018 and that's when it piqued my interest. Slowly, I downloaded all the episodes and was amazed of how it was done, making my cry tears of joy. The only thing I regret was that I didn't get to watch this godly series sooner; but, it's better late than never, right?

'Man, I didn't realize that Zi-O was so good, with me just finishing the entire series in 2 days, to boot! I still haven't watched the newest series of Kamen Rider, which was... Zero One, I think? From the sneak peeks that I've seen, I think it's pretty good as well,' I thought.

As I said, I was so amazed at the show, that after I watched it, with all my surplus savings that I had, bought the whole toy merchandise of Zi-O: the ziku driver, the rider watches and the ride watch stand, and of course, the Zi-O ride watch. After days of waiting, I finally got my package to which I squealed like a girl, much to the deliveryman's amusement. I was embarrassed of what I did but I didn't forget to give my thanks to the man. With excitement welling over me, I went to my room as fast as possible and as I opened the package, I was just left in awe.

"Oh, ohh!!" I let out tears of joy as I saw the thing that I dreamed most after watching the series: my very own ziku driver and everything else in it.

"Yatta! Banzai! Kamen Rider banzai!" I screamed as I celebrated my newly received merchandise, to which I think my voice was loud enough for my neighbors to hear it. Sorry, teehee~

I spent the rest of that day gawking at my ride watches, and as the day turned to night, it was time for me to sleep. Heck, I even had my things beside me when I slept, and so I closed my eyes hoping for a good day tomorrow. Well, that's what I hoped for, anyways.

-----Back to the present-----

After shouting my frustrations out loud, I depressingly slump on my bed, thinking seriously as to why I was here, when a sudden influx of information made its way into my brain, bring in severe headache.

'Agh!' was the sound I made as I fell on the floor, clutching my head in pain, trying to process the new information that was jammed onto my head like a nail. Soon enough, the pain subsided and I drew in deep, panting breaths, to calm myself down. Sitting back on the bed, I slowly pondered as I reorganized the information.

In this world, I am Satou Daichi, 22 years old and a single person.... Wow, same name, same age, same lonely person, ain't it? Anyways... I work at an amusement park called Giggling Dreamland and an Assistant Manager on my last job for the day? And I'm running late?!

"Crap, this is bad! I need to go there as fast as I can!"

I picked out my clothes to wear and rushed outside going to the amusement park, but then stopped.

"A,are? Do I even know where it's at? Ah, nevermind, I'm running late, I'll just remember it as I go!" I said, as I sped off onto the distance, not knowing that I brought with me something that brought my now crazy life into something crazier.
