The Great Hall

Kai was looking for Hermione when Fenrir seemed to have found them. Kai walked towards Fenrir finding Hermione sitting with Harry, Ron, and Ginny.

Three of the four were surprised by Fenrir when they saw him but Hermione was petting him making it clear that Fenrir was harmless.

Then Kai came into their compartment and says, "It seems, Fenrir couldn't wait."

"Fenrir?" asks Ginny as Kai points at Fenrir.

"One of my partners in crime," says Kai as Hermione was spoiling Fenrir with pets.

"Do you want to pet him?" asks Kai to Ginny seeing that her hand was going forward.

Ginny nods and Kai takes her hand before placing it on Fenrir's back. Then he let go and Ginny was petting Fenrir. Kai opened a window and Huginn and Muninn left the train before Kai closed it again.

"Thank you for the broomsticks they weren't really needed," says Ron as Kai shakes his hand.

"Like said before they were to show my gratitude for taking care of me," says Kai as he stood in the hall.

"Well, I should keep going and find a place to sit," says Kai as he whistled and Fenrir followed him after licking Hermione's and Ginny's faces.

"Haven't you told him that Fenrir can't enter Hogwarts?" asks Ron to Hermione when Hermione shakes her head.

"He has a special allowance from Dumbledore to bring everything he wants with him to Hogwarts. It must be because of his family that Dumbledore allowed it," says Hermione as the three with her were now curious.

"Well, he can't be from a pure-blood family since they are normally snoops going around saying half-blood and muggle-born are trash except for my family," says Ron thinking that Kai wasn't a pure-blood.

"He can be. Didn't he mention his roots are from Norway? Maybe his family is pure-blood from there," says Harry when Hermione shakes her head.

"No, in Kai's family everyone is a Muggle like in mine," says Hermione when Ginny began to think as well.

They began talking while Kai was sitting alone in a compartment feeling fine as he tried to sleep for a while Fenrir was keeping watch so nobody disturbs his partner.

They arrived at Hogwarts and Kai saw everyone in their uniform while he was still in his clothes when he used an illusion spell that would make him look like everyone else.

Hermione sees the confused Kai and walks towards him when she says, "You will go with Hagrid and the first-years since you will be sorted into a house today."

"Hagrid?" asks Kai as Hermione brought him to Hagrid with Fenrir following him.

Arriving at the half-giant named Hagrid made Kai smile when Hermione says, "Hagrid, I leave my friend in your hands."

"Is he the transfer student?" asks Hagrid as Kai nods.

"That is me," says Kai confirming it.

"Then help me with the first-years they can be nervous when they come to Hogwarts for the first time," says Hagrid as Kai nods while Fenrir sat beside him.

Hagrid and Kai got every first-year and began to move when Hagrid says, "Thank you for helping me."

"Don't worry, I really like to help if needed, and that way I can calm down myself," says Kai as he was excited to see Hogwarts the place every British Mage wanted to go.

"So how is Hogwarts?" asks Kai curious while Hagrid had his eyes on Fenrir.

"Hogwarts is a magical place. You will like it there. But your wolf is well educated," says Hagrid eyeing Fenrir.

"Fenrir is more than our eyes can perceive. He is older than me, you, and everyone in the school together," says Kai as Fenrir howls in agreement.

"Well, I never met a wolf that old," says Hagrid not believing Kai.

"You should be able to see Hogwarts from here," says Hagrid as they could see Hogwarts making the first-years feel excited.

Kai saw the castle and says, "It reminds me of Kaer Morhen. Doesn't it, Fenrir."

"Kaer Morhen?" asks Hagrid as Kai nods.

"A Witcher School in the Northern Kingdoms. They train Witchers, Monster Hunters for sale that pass through a mutation that enhanced them," says Kai as he was trained under them for a while to train his survival skills.

"Never heard of them," says Hagrid as Kai knew why.

"That's because you would have to leave this world to go there. My master brought me there to train since his son lives there as an instructor," says Kai making Hagrid feel nervous.

"You aren't Kaiser Masters, right?" asks Hagrid as every staff member in Hogwarts heard that Kaiser was joining this year.

"The one and only," says Kai as Hagrid tried to keep his anxiety inside to not disturb the first-years.

"How comes Hermione is a friend of yours?" asks Hagrid nervous.

"We knew each other from before she joined Hogwarts since we went to the same class," says Kai as they arrived at the boots that would take the first-years to the castle.

"Dumbledore arranged a boat for you," says Hagrid as he presented Kai with a boot that could carry only one person.

"He wanted to make sure that I don't kill anyone on my way to Hogwarts. He should have known that we don't hunt Mages any longer except they are evil," says Kai as he jumped onto his boat with Fenrir and it took off following the first-years.

In the meantime, every other student was in the Great Hall of Hogwarts waiting for the first-years to arrive when they notice that the teaching staff was stiffer than normal.

"Are they like that because of the incident of the World Cup?" asks Harry as even Dumbledore seemed stressed.

"I don't think it is because of that," says Ron as Dumbledore wouldn't be worried because of Voldemort.

"I think they are nervous because of Kaiser," says Hermione seeing the staff like that.

"Don't be ridiculous. Why would they be nervous about Kaiser?" asks Ron thinking that there are other things to worry about.

"*sighs* It's because of his family. Have you heard of the Masters Family before," says Hermione as almost every one of pure or half-blood turned pale after hearing that.

"Who are the Masters?" asks Harry not knowing them since no one could tell him from his family.

"The Masters are known as Mage Hunters. They find you and kill you. No one has ever escaped from them except Dumbledore but only because they thought it would give a message to all mages that no one was safe from them," says Ron as he explained to Harry who the Masters were.

"But why should they be scared of Kaiser?" asks Harry again as he could understand the staff being nervous about the Masters but Kai saved Ginny back then.

"Kai is the youngest Masters, Kaiser Masters," says Hermione as Ron suddenly opened his mouth wide as well as Ginny since Kai saved her before.

"That can't be. Masters have never had a Wizard in their ranks," says Ron not believing it.

The gates of the Great Hall opened and the first-years entered the Hall first and everything went as normal making everyone calm down from the staff when a man rushed into the Great Hall. He had a normal eye and another one that seemed to run around the room looking at everything.

"This is our new teacher for Defence Against the Dark Arts, former Auror Alastor 'Mad-Eye' Moody," says Dumbledore when the door opened again.

Kai was waiting outside the Great Hall waiting to be called inside when he his amulet begins to shake wildly.

He now know something was coming when he sees Ghosts come through the wall making him out of instinct use Yrden to trap the Ghosts making them fall into a panic as it was the first time they fell into a trap like that.

Kai pulled his axes out of his pouch as he was about to kill one of the ghosts when Kai hears a feminine voice calling for him, "Kaiser Masters, what are you doing there?"

"Prof?" asks Kai as he looked around seeing a female teacher entering through the big doors of the Great Hall.

"They are the Ghost of Hogwarts. They wont harm anyone excepts for Peeves who loves to play pranks on everyone," says the female teacher seriously as Kai put his axes away.

Kai released the Ghosts as they were relieved but still in shock because of what happened when Kai says, "You should pass to the next world as fast as possible before you turn into Wraiths. Those Ghosts are no laughing matter but a serious problem."

Kai then turned to Minerva McGonagall when he hears, "Mr. Masters, I'm sorry that you had to wait this long."

"Don't worry, prof. I learned the art of patience from one of my teachers a Witcher named Vesemir," says Kai with a smile when he asks, "When can I finally enter the Hall?"

"It should be soon, Mr. Mas-," says McGonagall when Kai interrupts her.

"Kaiser or Kai is fine for me, Ms. McGonagall. I'm a student after all and don't want special treatment. My teachers wouldn't want that as well. Also, can my pets join me in the feast?" says Kai as McGonagall noticed the crows, the caged white snake, and Fenrir.

"They seem to control themselves so I will allow it since the others will most likely try to avoid you," says McGonagall as she allowed Kai's partners inside.

Kai wanted to thank her when he hears, "And now for the last point of today. We welcome a new student in our midst. He was homeschooled for the last three years and is only here to build a bridge between his family and us, Wizards and Witches."

"It's your turn, Kaiser," says McGonagall as Kai nods when his armor appears around him and with his axes hanging from his belt.

The Great Hall's doors opened one last time and Kai entered the room with McGonagall. Huginn and Muninn were the first to enter as they flew inside circling in artificial roof making it snow.

Fenrir was walking before Kai leading his way while showing his majestic being when all eyes land on Kaiser having a white snake coiled around his body but it wasn't restricting his movement.

"Here he comes," says Dumbledore as he seemed calmer seeing that Kai behaved calmly even after waiting for this long.

Kaiser arrived at the Sorting Hat where Dumbledore was waiting when he says, "Kaiser Masters, come forward."

The moment the word Masters was spoken out whispers began to travel on the houses' tables. Kai ignored them as he sat down and Dumbledore put the hat on Kai's head.

"Gryffindor would be my first choice but it seems three people would destroy me for placing you in there.

Hufflepuff would be the second but someone else is waiting for you in another house.

Slytherin would be a good choice even if it is to clean the house a bit.

But Ravenclaw is where you belong since you seem perfect for it," says the Sorting Hat as he then shouts, "Ravenclaw!"

"It seems your house was chosen. You will be joining Ravenclaw from today on. But that doesn't mean you can't make friends outside your house," says Dumbledore as he knew that Hermione and Kai are friends.

"Mr. Flitwick will be taking care of you for the first few days. He is one of our best Professors at Hogwarts," says Dumbledore as Kai nods stretching his hand out towards Flitwick.

Flitwick was quite nervous until he heard from Kai, "I met many hybrids before. They all became my teacher and seemed to teach me new things. I hope you will do the same over the next few years that I will be attending."

"You met many?" asks Flitwick surprised.

"Yes, my teacher is a Hybrid too. He was half-demon and half-saiyan. Then there were his sons they were more human but still Hybrids. They all taught me how to survive and I hope you will do the same," says Kai with a smile as Flitwick takes his hand.

"I will try to guide you through your years around Hogwarts," says Flitwick with a smile as his image of Masters was replaced by Kai who was kind and open-minded.

"Thank you," says Kai as he then turned to the Ravenclaw table and all the students seemed to calm down seeing how Kai and Flitwick were talking normally.

They made some space for him in the front since Kai had his pets with him when Dumbledore claps his hands and a feast appeared on the table making everyone happy as they began to eat.
