Stitches and Draughts

The group stayed for a while as they were enjoying their butterbeer when Kai felt something pulling him outside. He grabbed the item that was pulling him seeing that it was the key he received.

"Guys, I will be leaving you alone as I have to uncover a little mystery," says Kaiser seriously as he stands up and leaves Harry and Hermione behind.

The key was pulling him away into a small alley inside Hogsmeade before he stood before a shop that seemed to have been closed ages ago.

The key left Kai's hands and entered the lock opening it which made the door swing open magically. Kai found that quite creepy since his grandma's horror movies began just like that.

"Fuck," curses Kai as he summons his axes just in case and enters the shop which was filled with cobwebs and house spiders.

He looked around finding a note on the counter beside the cashier which said, "If you read this note it means you have either trespassed into my property or you received the 'Key' I gave away to Niamh Fitzgerald as a keepsake until a worthy Keeper emerges again.

My name is Terry Right, the Last Keeper, or so I thought at least until you arrived here. Since I must be long dead it means that my two house elves must have left the place to create their own family.

I transfer with this note my house elves, Penny and Deek, and this haunted shop to you. Should they serve you well as they served me.

P.S. Penny might not listen to your call since she is a free elf.

"Damn, a freaking Poltergeist. I have already enough Peeves, I don't need a second one in my life," says Kai seriously as he went back to find the sealed chest seeing it jump around angrily when he picked up the Nap Sack that was right beside it.

"Well, I don't think that the house-elves are still alive but I could try to call them," says Kai nonchalantly thinking that it wouldn't work.

"Penny! Deek!" shouts Kaiser but nothing happens making Kaiser sigh before he walks toward the door when the shop suddenly get illuminated.

"The Master is back!" says a female voice happy holding a broom in her hands while wearing a hat on her head.

"That isn't the Master but the new Master," says another older male voice as he appears holding a broom as well helping the other elf in cleaning the shop.

"Uhm," says Kaiser surprised to see them when another three elves appeared helping the who Kaiser concluded were Deek and Penny.

"Welcome Master, Deek is my name," says Deek as Kaiser could hear that this elf was old nearing most likely the end of his life.

"Penny is my name and those are," says Penny as Kaiser could see that Penny must be the same age as Deek when he sees her pointing at the other elves.

"This is Treek, Wenny, and Beek, they are our children and will be loyal to you once we aren't around any longer. We were working in Hogwarts the whole time waiting for you," says Penny full with anticipation hoping that her new Master was as kind as her last one.

They cleaned the shop completely making it look as good as new in Kai's eyes when he says, "Well I won't be opening the shop for now but I have plans for it that is for sure."

Kai had really plans for it but they had to wait until he graduated Hogwarts to open a Business which not everyone would like but it was needed in the future which was a Muggle Article Business.

He noticed that Wizards and Witches were falling behind compared to Muggle Technology and having a shop which could introduce them to a TV for example could connect both worlds again with each other as they were in the past instead of splitting even further apart.

"But for now you should go to my Grandmother's Place and help Wendy in taking care of the Mansion," says Kaiser as he could see a bit of disappointment in Penny's eyes since she loved to take care of the shop.

"That doesn't mean that you can neglect this place. I hope that you clean it up at least twice every month," says Kaiser which made sparkles appear in Penny's eyes.

Kaiser then left with the Nap-Sack as he couldn't just open it everywhere when he walked into someone making the person fall backwards.

"Ouch," says the person and Kaiser looked down seeing Daphne Greengrass before him.

He stretches his hand out toward her and says, "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

"Don't worry, Kaiser, I wasn't either," says Daphne as she takes Kai's hand and got up when Kaiser notices a younger girl beside Daphne who hid behind her.

"Astoria, you don't need to be scared of Kaiser. He is quite a nice guy," says Daphne as Astoria was glaring holes into Kaiser.

"Nice to meet you, I am Kaiser Masters but you know that already, just call me Kai like I told your sister before," says Kaiser stretching his hand out toward Astoria who took it when Kaiser felt something weird.

"I am Astoria Greengrass, nice to meet you, Kaiser," says Astoria sticking to Kaiser instead of Kai like her sister did.

"She is the one you where talking about right?" asks Kaiser seriously Daphne who only nods.

"Yes," says Daphne a bit nervous as a smile appears on Kaiser's face.

"This will be quick then. I thought it was something worse but are you sure thatbit is a curse and not just an illness passed down in your family," says Kaiser wanting more information while letting go of Astoria who hides behind Daphne again.

"We are sure that it is a Curse that every second child born in every generation contagious," says Daphne making it clear as Kaiser looks at Astoria closer again.

"Fine let me take a closer look at her but first let us go into that shop there," says Kaiser pointing at his place.

"And a fair warning don't touch anything. I just received it and haven't had time to look at everything inside of it," says Kaiser not wanting to let go of this chance to examinate Astoria.

They go inside still finding the elves cleaning up when they see Kaiser and Penny says, "Master has returned."

"Just for a small moment," says Kaiser surprising Daphne and Astoria since he has five house elves under his wings.

"I didn't know you have house elves," says Daphne surprised as Kai sighs.

"I have six in total but my grandmother will kill me when I return home from school," says Kaiser already picturing it.

She told him that he could hire another two to help Sebastian in keeping the mansion while Daphne and Astoria looked at him with understanding eyes.

"She hates Magic doesn't she?" asks Daphne when Kaiser shakes his head.

"Not really, like I said before she tolerates Mages as long as they don't do something bad," says Kaiser as the sisters looked at him now confused.

"Why will she kill you then?" asks Astoria from behind Daphne when Kai sighs again.

"She asked me to hire two more to get accustomed to them but now I have six in total. I will be happy if she doesn't swing her cane at me," says Kaiser with tears in his eyes which looked more comical than actual sad tears to the sisters making them laugh which eased the situation.

"Now that we have all calmed down how about I take a closer look at you Astoria," says Kaiser seriously as he asks for her underarm.

She stretched it out and Kaiser took it and began to examine her just by passing his mana through her body when he says, "I simple curse that can be broken easily if you know how."

"And?" asks Daphne curious if Kaiser could break the curse.

"I can break the curse," says Kaiser since it was one of the easier curses which got forgotten in time as he then begins to write runes on Astoria's forearm.

"Will those runes break the curse?" asks Daphne curious looking at them not knowing what they were definition.

"No, they are there to keep Astoria safe until I am done," says Kaiser seriously as he suddenly touches the temple between Astoria's eyes making her fall asleep.

"What are you doing?" asks Daphne nervous seeing Kaiser do that.

"It is for her own safety, trust me," says Kaiser trying to assure Daphne who wasn't happy but she let it slide since Kaiser was trying to help them.

Kaiser gathered Mana in his free hand creating a small ball of mana which took Daphne's interest when he shoveled it into Astoria's chest.

Kaiser didn't remove his hand from Astoria's chest as he closes his eyes to concentrate when Daphne suddenly sees her sister sweating.

It was black and sticky she wanted to touch it but one of the older elves stopped her immediately knowing that it was dangerous from their long experience when suddenly lying blood flows down from the corner of Astoria's mouth.

It was completely black and Kaiser opened his eyes while removing his hand from her chest before he opens his palm and the black sweat as well as the blood flew toward his palm creating a sphere of black blood before he ignited it burning it away.

"What was that?" asks Daphne looking at Kaiser as if he created a miracle.

"I needed to use some of my mana to cleanse your sister before using Blood Magic to pull out the curse completely. She is free of the curse but that doesn't mean the next generation of Greengrass will at least for now," says Kaiser seriously as he didn't break the curse over the Greengrass, he broke the curse over Astoria only.

Daphne suddenly jumped at Kaiser and hugged him while telling him how grateful she was for him doing that when Astoria seemed to wake up finding her older sister being over Kaiser on the floor.

"I think, I should leave you two alone," says Astoria completely red in the face from what she was seeing when Daphne turned red from the embarrassment of her sister seeing her like that.

"Wait, Astoria, you are still weak," says Daphne before looking at Kaiser and saying again, "Thank you, we Greengrass are in your debt."

"Don't worry about that an catch up to her before something happens to her," says Kaiser as Daphne let go of him to rush after her sister.

"Master is a womanizer just like the old Master was," says Penny as Kaiser looked at her confused.

"Wait, the Last Keeper was a womanizer?" asks Kaiser curious as Penny nods.

"Yes, he had Natsai Onai in one hand and Poppy Sweeting in the other. This went on until they found out that he was having relationships with both at same time," says Penny informing Kai of what happened in the past.

"Well let me be clear. I am not a womanizer," says Kaiser as he leaves the shop to find the group when he turned around and picked up the Nap-Sack and left again.
