10 Diagon Alley and King's Cross
Two days later as promised did Hermione come by to help Kai with buying his stuff. They went to the Diagon Alley when Hermione asks, "What was that portal?"
"Dark Magic," says Kai as Hermione turned pale from hearing that when Kai began to laugh.
"Of course it isn't Dark Magic. It is normal Space Magic. I just have to think about where I want to go and open a gate. It's like with the Portkeys just simpler since I can choose where I want to go and from where," says Kai explaining it as they stood in front of Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
"Now don't expect a nice service like in our banks," says Hermione since she wanted to exchange her money for wizard money.
"Are they even greedier than our banks?" asks Kai confused when Hermione shakes her head.
"No, they are quite fair just their personal is quite direct not like ours that smile at you while holding a dagger in their hand," says Hermione as she entered the bank with Kai.
Once inside Kai sees all the goblins and says, "We are lucky that granny isn't with us."
"Why?" asks Hermione as Kai explained what happened when he brought Winky home.
"What did your mom and uncle say about Winky?" asks Hermione as Kai sighs.
"They aren't at home. They left to help my long lost grandfather that lives in America. I thought he was dead until my grandma told me two days ago," says Kai as Hermione was quite surprised.
They waited in line until it was their turn when Kai takes a key out making Hermione asks, "Where did you get that key?"
"Logan gave it to me before he left. He said that he opened a Vault for me when I was only six years old," says Kai as Hermione looked at the key.
"It seems quite big compared to Harry's," says Hermione as they were called forward.
"Hermione Granger, back so soon," says the goblin behind the counter.
"We are here because of this," says Hermione placing Kai's key on the counter making the goblins stop working.
"Where did you get this key?" asks the goblin as Kai raised his hand.
"It's mine. My master, Logan Wyrm, opened a Vault under my name here," says Kai as the goblin looks at Kai.
"Kaiser Masters, it is nice to finally meet you," says the goblin as the person behind them in line took three steps back after hearing Kai's family name.
"I would appreciate being called only Kaiser or Kai when I am around Mages," says Kai as the goblin nods.
"Alright, Kaiser, follow me then," says the goblin as Kaiser and Hermione followed him.
They entered a wagon that took them quite deep until they arrived at a Vault with a Dragon beside it making Hermione feel a bit scared as she hid behind Kai.
"Is that my Vault?" asks Kai as the goblin nods.
"Yes, Logan wanted the biggest Vault in our Bank but we didn't know why until the fourth year the Vault was opened," says the goblin as Kai opened the Vault when he suddenly had to use a barrier to stop the gold coins from killing him.
"What the hell," says Kai as Hermione was surprised to see Kai's wealth.
"Kaiser Masters, you are the richest Wizard in history of our bank when it comes to gold," says the goblin as Kai opened a hole in the barrier making gold enter his pouch that he held under the hole.
He stopped after a while finding the Vault almost unchanged before closing it when he says, "No wonder a Dragon was guarding it."
"Indeed, the Dragon guarded this bank for ages," says the goblin as they began to go upstairs again in the wagon.
"Can I make a second key for Hermione?" asks Kai surprising both the goblin and Hermione.
"Kai, you shouldn't," says Hermione not wanting to accept this.
"Come on it will be easier for you and your parents not having to exchange normal money for wizard money," says Kai as the Grangers were well off compared to other families but always exchanging money can drain their funds.
"Thank you," says Hermione looking at the ground as Kai smiled.
"I alone won't be able to use all that money in a lifetime after all," says Kai stating the truth when they arrived at the entrance hall again seeing many people staring at them.
"It seems the cat is out of the bag," says Kai as the goblin went to get one of the spare keys.
He returned and gave it to Hermione while saying, "You both need to sign this with your blood. Hermione, so you can use the Vault and Kaiser to authorize Hermione to be able to withdraw from it."
Both signed the paper with their blood as the goblin nods and says, "Thank you for doing business with us. I hope you return soon, Kaiser."
They leave the bank when Kai says, "He was quite nice."
"Too nice for my own good. I was thinking they would ambush us going out of the bank," says Hermione as Kai laughed imagining that.
"Well then let's buy our stuff and some extras," says Kai as Hermione looked at him confused.
"Extras?" asks Hermione when Kai nods.
"Yes, some books that you want to buy but couldn't afford them. Now is your chance to get them," says Kai as they first went to buy the wardrobe Kai would need to wear.
After that, they went to buy books, cauldrons, and three broomsticks when Hermione asks, "For who is the third broomstick?"
"For Ginny, I saw that the Weasleys are good people but they are short on money so buying a broomstick for Ginny should show my gratitude for their hospitality," says Kai as Hermione looked at him.
"It's not because Ginny is a cute girl?" asks Hermione feeling a bit jealous.
"Of course, she is cute but not as cute as my maned Hermi," says Kai as Hermione blushed a bit before hitting his shoulder.
"Now serious, if you go after Ginny, you should know that she is into Harry," says Hermione seriously when it was Kai's turn.
"Now serious back, I only need one girl and she is right now beside me," says Kai as he looked at Hermione seriously making her blush again.
"You are just saying that," says Hermione as Kai took her hand.
"I am not, but I will give you space so you can think about it," says Kai as he didn't want to push Hermione into liking him.
They finished shopping and Kai was carrying everything when he opened a portal in the middle of the street and they passed it.
They arrived inside Hermione's room when Kai puts everything down and says, "Just think about what I told you and give me an answer one day."
"I will and thank you for buying me all those books," says Hermione when Kai smiles.
"Anyway, I should go before your parents come home. They could misunderstand this situation," says Kai as a joke when Hermione blushed and throws her pillow after the leaving Kai.
Kai returned home with two broomsticks making Sarah look at him confused while asking, "Don't you have a broomstick upstairs that was gifted to you by Eivor who asked Logan to make it for you?"
"Those are for the family that Hermione brought me to. They were quite nice to me so I thought of giving them a present for their hospitality," says Kai as Sarah sighs.
"You know our new friend is quite an energy ball taking care of everything so Sebastian can train his body again," says Sarah praising Winky while she wasn't around.
"I told you she would do great in the household," says Kai with a smile when Sarah nods.
"I was thinking that you could maybe hire a house-elf more maybe two so she doesn't feel alone," says Sarah surprising Kai.
"I will think about that," says Kai as he went for his room while calling for Huginn and Muninn telepathically.
Once in his room, he tells them to deliver the broomsticks to the Burrow with a note telling from who and why he gifted them the Firebolts.
A week passed and it was finally time to go to Hogwarts. He went to King's Cross with the Granger Family since Sarah couldn't really show herself there for the safety of the mages and students.
"I really wished that at least my mother would be here," says Kai when Odin and Frigga appeared in King's Cross waiting on the platform before running into the column between Platform 9 and 10.
"Kaiser!" shouts Odin taking Kai's attention when Hermione and the Granger Family see him.
"Havi!" shouts Kai happy as Odin and Frigga take him into their embrace.
"We are here because your Mother and Grandmother asked us back on your birthday. Also, you will be meeting Thor and Loki in Hogwarts because of the Triwizard Tournament," says Odin as Kai heard of those tournaments from Loki before.
"Hey, Havi and Frigga," says Hermione as the married couple recognized Hermione.
"The Little Lion," says Odin as it was the nickname Thor gave Hermione when they first met.
"You have grown into a beauty," says Frigga as she smiles at Hermione.
"But we should go fast or you will miss your train," says Odin as they snapped out of it and Hermione told them how to enter the platform something Odin and Frigga already knew.
They passed through the column and arrived at the platform from which the Hogwarts Express would leave the station. Fenrir was sitting beside Kai while having a glaring contest with Odin like always. Huginn and Muninn were sitting on Kai's shoulder and Jörmungandr was in a big cage since Kai was afraid that Jörmungandr would eat the other pets on the train if let loose.
"Remember have fun while being there," says Odin as Kai nods before storing his things on the train.
"Also, take this," says Frigga giving Kai an amulet with a Wolf' Head.
"We asked Logan about something that could help you in the future and he told use an Amulet representing your school would help," says Odin as Kai accepted it.
He put it on and he didn't feel any different when they hear that everyone shall enter the train.
"See you in the summer," says Kai as he hugged them before boarding the train.
He waved at them as the train left the station when Kai says, "Let's find Hermi, Fenrir."
