3 Chapter 3: Reborn

Days by days have ended, and if he could estimate, a month has passed after he woke up without clues and hints. He experienced many things like injecting many disgusting colored syringes and doing some trials.

Since he was a kid and had a weak body, the Doctor could not do anything for him because he lost too many resources, and it such a waste if he decides to dispose of him; however, he could not escape from the torture of the unknown serums. If The Doctor didn't see results, changes in the body, he would go back to the other day and inject again.

Sometimes he wanted to kill himself, and his mind was f*cked up like a crazy individual. However, he could still work his mind and still have enough rationality.

And now, he was again laid on a trial room after he was injected.

"You know that experimental no. 0, you are an unkillable cockroach and not easily to fcked. You like my serum, don't you?" The Doctor was cheekily specifying his body. He signaled the guard to begin the trials.

"Bro, I like the word unkillable, but the last part sounds gay. You, the mushroom head was totally homo. I bet you and the other guards did some orgy anal or sword-fighting s*x here since I didn't see any females. That's a gross dude." The room was silent, and the Doctor gave a sign to the one guard beside him to put something on to shut his mouth.

"You know, I hate that dirty mouth of yours. I didn't expect a kid like you trash-talks like this. What if I just stitch your so you could shut the fck up. Hold him; I need blood from him." The Doctor replied. After the sessions, he was back in his room. 

Before he was the only one, The Doctor decided to group them in a group because of the experiments. He didn't know that there were so many kids here. Many small children looked pale and thin in the room, they were playing, but when they saw the guards and entered, they immediately stopped. Their faces were scarred and silent.

He was kicked by the guard from the entrance and eventually left.

"Kai, are you okay?" A girl of the voice worriedly asked when the guards left.

Kaios was his name since he didn't know who he was. In the end, he accepted the name of this girl.

Her name was Lily, she was 6 years old, also an orphan, she was a cheerful and positive girl. She acted like a big sis to them and likes to name the new ones. However, her body was so weak and malnourished well all of them, her skin was pale white as snow, blond hair disheveled hair reached to her shoulder. If she were treated nicely, she would look like a cute and pretty girl, but now he needs to be protected.

"I am; it's just like a bite of an ant. Not a big deal, though." He sighed and talked to her.

'How long this will last?' he thought and was depressed.

She was the only one he closes, but he also had relationships with the other children but not that close. He only saw them as one of him who was weak and helpless in this situation. Every day he was thinking of a plan to destroy this building. He could escape, but when Kai found out that more children like him, he decided to escape with them.

However, when will that happen? That's what he only thought. He was waiting for the right time.

"EHHH? Really? But to me, it hurts so much? Wow, you're strong, Kai!" She purely smiled at him. Even though she believed him, Kai needs to be a role model for them.

" Yep," He replied. He went to his bed and when he got there. The children also went to him and were excited.

"Hey Kai, will you tell a story again?" The kids asked.

The kids admired him even though he was also like them. But Kai didn't have a problem with that.

"Sure, sure, I will tell you the story of a Doctor with a mushroom head. One day....." He told them a lot, but if anyone was sane and heard this, they would not believe this.

"After he was trapped in the hands of Kai, he tried to escape, but the hands in his neck were gripping him hard. Then Kai broke his neck, and a wonderful ending happened; he died." He proudly tells them.

The kids just clapped and were amazed by the bullshts, but it was a good story for the kids because they hated this place and the bad guys who hurt them.

'I need to be strong for them', he thought.

"Ka-kai. I don't feel good." Suddenly Lily asked him.

Kai approached him and checked his forehead. Her temperature was average, but Kai sensed something wrong.

"Alright, just go take a rest. Maybe you're tired due to the experiments they did." He said to her.

She followed him and decided to sleep.

"Kai, do you think we can be happy? Run in the grass, and ride horses like the characters in the book?" Lily asked in sorrow.

"Yes, Lily. Someday we will. You don't need to dream of it because we will feel the experience of freedom and happiness." He replied like a big brother taught his little sister a profound knowledge.

"Ummm", Lily agreed. After that, they decided to sleep.

When Kai woke up, he sensed something wrong. It was like his sense was something new. He could hear unknown sounds, the steps of boots from the floor, the cries of the children, and his vision was clear like his eyes could see a little ant far from away as he crawled on the ceilings.

All of the children were still sleeping until the metal door clanked and opened.

6 guards went to the other kids and him. This was an everyday routine; the guard picked them up and went for another session.

The guard beside Kai talked to him, but he just observed the slow movements of the guard's lips. It was like a slow movement.

"HEY, WAKE UP, YOU HEAR ME OR YOU'RE JUST STUPID"

He stopped his thoughts and focused on today. They left the room; however, they didn't go to the operation room, but to a new room they didn't know. When they, there were 6 kids that Kai didn't know, and their faces were looking at them in killing intentions.

Kai sensed something wrong also like the other kids with him, "Kai, I'm scared", all stayed close to him, and one of the kids said.

"Since we found that the effects of serums were not effective if it works naturally, I found another way to force the serums effectively in the last two days. From Room 6, among 15 children, only 6 of them saw its effects." A man entered the room, and it was the Doctor.

He looked at Kai and smirked.

"You 6 will be the one who will be their stepping stones and would step to another evolution LIKE CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE FIRST SUPERHUMAN DURING WORLD WAR 2! CREATED BY THE POWER OF SCIENCE! BE GLAD THAT YOU TRASH WILL HAVE WORTH!" He madly laughed.

'Fck. This guy will go crazy when he mentions the Captain America thingy that I didn't even know.' He thought.

The 6 kids looked at them; they stood up and approached Kai's group. Kai sensed the dangers and alerted them. These kids were not friendly.

"You 6, if you want to stay alive. Kill these newcomers." He said to the kids.

The guards just stepped aside and watched.

"GET BEHIND ME IF YOU CAN FIGHT, FIGHT. IF NOT, DON'T DIE JUST EVADE THEM, GOT IT?!" Kai shouted and gave warnings to others.

The children behind Kai were scared and shivered their legs. They were kids and naive that didn't know what to do. Kai focused on approaching kids. A guy ran to him with murderous intent. He was taller and more robust than him. When the boy was near, he threw a punch.

Kai saw this and blocked it with his hands through his head. He didn't expect that he was thrown by power. His hands were numb because of the power, then he looked to the other kids he knew.

He saw that they were being choked, kicked, and punched. They tried to fight backs or run, but they couldn't. A girl choked Kai's friend and broke it like a twig. The other kids fought for their lives. They aimed the face continuously even though it was beaten to a pulp while the other was either chasing the other or too much time to end it. All of it saw this by his own eyes. He gritted his teeth, and hurriedly stood up.

'I fcking hate this, I hate this!' he thought. He sensed something in his body, he didn't know what this was, but Kai could feel a little small warm thing inside his chest, and the most crucial thing he noticed was that his body wanted to do some actions.

Since Kai didn't want his friend to die anymore, he took action and followed his instincts.

Kai looked at the boy who punched him, and then he jumped to have a distance between them. He did his fighting stance, which was similar to the stances of boxers; a left hand was a closed and slightly closed right, which is his dominant hand.

The boy just ran to him, and since he didn't know how to fight, he just threw a wide swing of left punch.

Kai sensed the world was in slow motion and saw the boy's attacks. He dashed when he got perfect timing. He evaded the punch by an inch and threw a right straight to the face of a boy. After the exchange, his enemy flew for 1 meter with blood from his nose and dead eyes.

The boy he punched died simply. Kai's strength is at the young adult level and him fighting the boy was like bullying.

'What the!' He looked to the boy at the same time at his hands

Kai was shocked by this. His feelings were as high as Fck. He wanted to do something more and also wanted to meet the bottleneck of his new incredible power.

Kai's assumptions were because of the swirling warmth inside his body which is probably the cause of his power.

He turned his attention to the others looking at him, especially the Doctor and the other guards. His blue eyes were as frightening as the eyes of a fierce wolf looking at his prey.

The other kids felt the intent of Kai. They instantly backed down and looked at him.

"It is not me, them, or you that you should fight, but the people who have been hurt and done evil are the ones you should be against." He said. His words calmed the other kids like him, even though they felt regret because they were killed or murdered.

"These assholes are what we should be aware of. Stand up! Even if you already murdered with your hands today, it is not your fault. It was them!" Kai shouted and started to attack the guards.

He was like a beast that was unleashed, the other kids like him also fought with him. 

"STO- STOP HIM! BEFORE HE WOULD KILL US!" The Doctor quickly said and ordered.

The 6 guards quickly took action and tried to stop him. The guards got their batons and also fought back. However, one of the guards holds his shoulder and tries to lock him because Kai was small and sensed it. He evaded and did a 360 side jump to kick him.

The guards flew away because of the kick. Which alarmed the remaining guards of his power.

A battle ensued, and Kai was forced to fight even though there were so many. He punched, kicked, struck the batons he stole, and evaded them.

"CALL ALL THE REMAINING GUARD, JUST RESTRAINS BUT DONT KILL HIM. YOU HAVE PERMISSIONS TO USE THE TASER OR BATONS." The Doctor used the radio and called for help.

When Kai and others fought with the other guards, who gave them a challenge, but it became harder when many guards with batons in their hands entered.

The newly entered guard helps to stop and neutralize the kids.

Kai tried to fight back with so many people, even though some guards were blown away or had broken bodies.

"F*ck, I didn't expect this," Kai said while gasping for breath.

Kai did not expect this to happen, which in the end, he would get tired.

"Arghhhhh!" Kai struggled against so many enemies surrounding him. He tried to fight back; however, he did not feel the oncoming blow of the baton on his head because of fatigue, which caused him to faint.

AN: Don't worry, I will not let this a SUPER slow-paced story. I'm still learning and making some mistakes.

Oh, If someone noticed errors, please let me know. I only used my old phone (4 yrs old) to write, it was tough and had problems because it was too old. I want to buy a new one, but I don't have money, and it's so hard being poor. :)

I will try my best not for other people's expectations but the expectations to create and finish this fanfic novel to the end.
