340 Return To Shearath (VI): Assassination Attempt

It was a little bit cold this morning. The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as the city finally woke up to a brand new day. Yesterday had been even more hectic than I expected, I ended up throwing a whole lot more people in jail than I expected. The loyal members of the guard that protected my home were all either demoted to common guardsmen in the city without any real power, or a method to change the status Quote. Some were posted to other cities or sent off world on missions that was not required, causing many of them to have lost their lives in the process. And as for the others, some escaped, while others who had real power were put to death immediately.
