6 New Lead
Ji Fei sat in his study room with a playful smile on his face, holding a sparse document.
This was the the smile that always indicates the calm before the storm.
One of his secret assistants was standing before him with his head lowered, while he continued to tap his pen away on the study table .
Is this all you could gather about her? From childhood to 17 years, and after that, did she teleport to her current age? Ji Fei asked with irritation on in his voice, slamming the document on the table.
The assistant trembled a little before lifting his head a bit to reply.
"Sir, this is all the information we were able to gather normally. It's like someone deliberately shut out all other information about her. "
Ji Fei chuckled hearing this. That's an additional suspicion.
So, should we go ahead and make use of THE FINDER? The assistant asked carefully.
The FINDER? Finder was one of his upper ranked night messengers. He would always be in charge when it comes to getting first class hard nut information about people and incidents, and Ji Fei did not want to believe he had to go as far as making use of his upper messenger to get information on Li Nuan.
Don't bother about that, I'll handle this for now. He replied almost absent minded. He'll just wait to see how everything plays out.
That was all the assistant needed to clear off. He bowed and left as quietly as he came.
Ji Fei took another look at the documents on the table before his gaze shifted to a photograph beside it. It was a photograph of a young lady in an underground hell mode training room. She seemed to be in the middle of training and failed to notice she was getting photographed.
Hell mode was the highest level of Combat training one could get. So, just a handful of people are allowed to go in the training room to avoid casualties. Even most of these few would not even be able to withstand 30 minutes before running off. Ji Fei himself could only go for 7 hours, not a minute more than that. Some girls will even faint if they should get to see some of the training methods but here comes a girl training her life away.
There was only one of such underground training room in the whole of the Country X. It was built by an underground dark Lord who was also a member of RYS. The only one with a close structure to the hell mode room was built in his - Ji Fei - house to serve as a punishment room for trespassers and offenders.
Who knew this picture that had been with him since some months now would come to serve as a new lead.
Ji Fei came out of his study room on the upper floor of the mansion. He was about to retreat to his room when a maid brought over a food tray to him
"Old Madam came earlier in the evening, she said we should make sure to deliver this to you. It had been in the heater so it wouldn't go cold".
He was about to tell the maid to scram with it when the lady continued.
"She said it's from her favorite person in the world "
Tch... This favorite person again. Shouldn't I be her favorite person in the world? Alright go drop it in my room. I'll have this for supper.
He was already familiar with his mother's ways of handling things. She would bring food from any daughter in-law prospect, so he could taste the food and give his opinion if he wanted his future wife to cook like this. He had always thrown them all away except for the ones cooked by this 'Favorite person'. It always has this aroma and taste that is very hard to ignore.
But... His Mum had never tried to pair them before. Why?
