Just When I thought I Was Over You

He held my hands tight as I was about to start a chase, then he angrily asked "Why did you even try to run?!" Getting irritated, I answered "Why not ask yourself" My tears cascaded as I remembered my painful past. He pulled my arm and tightly embraced me I angrily told him "Let me go!", then he said "No, please let me explain, please give me a chance", which I responded with shaking my head sidewards as to refuse him. He was about to kiss me but as I saw an opening, I took the chance to be freed from his hold, I kicked his crotch slightly hard that made him fall down to his knees. I ran as far as my legs could till I was sure he stopped following me. Hiding in an alley, the strength in my legs were gone and collapsed in the cold ground, I clasped my chest and silently screamed "Why him? How did he find me?" I've been hiding for 3 years after that breakup so why did he appear once more. My heartbeat continually raced and my face was flushed as I thought of him, I cried and asked myself "Why the hell did he appear in from me just as I was moving on?" Thinking of him, I felt butterflies once more and I whispered to myself "Just when I thought I was over you"
