"Joke" | chapter 1

so in my campus and especially in my class everyone have a partner of course except me but also surprisingly the most beautiful girl in campus Daphne didn't have a partner, we are the only ones that didn't have a partner

one day we have a musical assignment in groups of 2 and of course because of plot armor i got pair up with Daphne after that we have to pick a song so I jokingly said *how about Gummo by 6ix9ine* we laughed it out and decided on *leave the door open by Bruno Mars* and thankfully the other group didn't pick the song after that the bell rong and we headed to the cafeteria to have lunch

at the cafeteria I saw Daphne sitting alone she wave at me and invited me to sit with her "why you sitting alone today Daphne?" i said she replied with "oh my usual friend group are out with their boyfriends" i replied with a mocking voice "ohh still single i see" she replied with "aren't you too" i tilt my head down and grab a seat as i jokingly said "what if we date if we can't find a partner by the end of the semester" she blush and replied with a shy voice "yeah sure why not"

after that i headed to the next class on the way i bump into Daphne and invited her to my house for singing practice and decide to walk together after school, after i got into class i wanna make plans for the weekend with my friends "yo you guys wanna hangout this weekend" they replied with "nope we're going on a triple date with our gf" i simply reply with "damn y'all Gon do me like that?" and get on with my usual classes

after i was done with all of my class i zoom out the classroom and start searching for Daphne so we could go to my house to get some practice in
